Bought a brand new top (amongst other items) but it smells like B.O., which I unfortunately did not notice until after I got home. Absolutely disgusting. Now, I have to go all the way back for a return and I don't even live in the region.
Also, to the general public who think it's ok to contaminate clothes like that smelling that badly, shame on you. Purchase the clothing first and then do whatever you'd like with it.

Went to this Uniqlo a couple weeks ago and bought some dress pants which didn’t have a tag when I bought them. I tried to return them today (couple weeks later) and I had the receipt, which stated if bought within 30 days I can return them. I was never told there needed to be a tag to return the products by any of the employees working, however they told me I just had to bring it in within 30 days. I would have been more hesitant to purchase if I had known this. Their policy of needing a tag to return is incredibly stupid, as I had the receipt in hand and it was obviously from their store. I work at a popeyes supplement store and we are even willing to do returns on products which are opened and already used in case the customer does not like the product and we don’t require a receipt as long as the product is under their account. They are surely capable of doing a return but they chose not to. Do not buy from Uniqlo unless you are 1000% sure that you want to keep it, and make sure to buy clothes with a tag.

Difficult to trace with only a small board outside the Square One mall. If this organization is running a business, they should ensure customers find it easy enough to locate their outlet.

0 rating, purchased a jacket 33 days ago not willing to return and give refund as over 3 days. Only giving an option to exchange today, I asked for gift as option declined that as well.
Finally I was willing to exchange for something I liked, store manager was the item you are returning, Value has been reduced to you need to pay more for the difference. Garbage customer service and policy.
I usually never write a bad review but this store, I had a horrible experience. The prices are all ripped off, when you come to the cashier to ask for the price, she tells you the price, and with the sale being 80%, $400 for a dress that doesn’t look like it should cost that much is insane. The dresses are all damaged and when you come to the cashier, she is very rude and unhappy. When I had asked her about the price and asked if that’s even okay that they are selling damaged clothes at such a high price is not okay, and she told me to go to a different store if I’m so upset. The other staff also seems to be very unfriendly.

Went to this shop to buy a dress for a wedding that I will be attending. One of the store keepers, Maya, helped me to pick out the best dress, and she was wonderful. Beyond helpful and kind, and very attentive. Hope she will be able to help me again whenever I go back. Laura has some very nice dress options with reasonable prices.
UNIQLO Square One offers a fantastic shopping experience with its vast selection of high-quality clothing at affordable prices. The store layout is well-organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. A must-visit for anyone looking for stylish and comfortable attire.
The worst possible customer service ever. There was a huge line for the fitting rooms as it was busy. I had 20+ items in my cart and they said only 6 items at a time in the change room and they will pass me more items as I get through the first 6 which is fine. I needed my wife to see the items I was trying so she came with me to the end of the fitting room, like literally the last stall and they kicked her out bcuz it was a fire hazard.. Keep in mind the hallway was 4+ feet wide. So we asked for her to go in the stall with me.. They said no and I had to go in front of 20 ppl line up waiting to get in the change room to show her the items one by one.. Just insanity.. When I spoke to the manager they said it's their "policy" and nothing he can do. I said I am not comfortable giving a fashion show in front of 20+ ppl and they said well too bad and nothing else they can do.. Keep in mine my cart was over 500$ worth.. When I asked how I Lodge a formal complaint. They said they don't have any email or phone number to provide me and to go on their website.. Just disgusting behaviour and I didn't ask for anything special but just my wife to wait outside the stall or be inside so I don't spend 30+ mins coming in and out in front of 20+ people..

As a former employee at Laura, I would like to share my personal experiences about the store's customer service. Occasionally, I've witnessed colleagues, particularly supervisors and managers, making inappropriate comments about customers (body shape, weight, odour, family dynamic, etc.). This is something I believe needs addressing. At Laura, we have a diverse customer base, many of whom are very sweet, older individuals who receive excellent service. This service is not extended to new customers unless you are obviously interested and state you are willing to spend $300+
I've noticed that the return process can be unnecessarily challenging. People from a South Asian background are mostly given a harder time returning items, which implies a bias. This largely depends on management's decision. There are many South Asian employees at this location who provide great service.
There were times when I felt that certain information, such as return policy, final sale, points/rewards, etc., was not communicated clearly to customers unless they spent a certain amount. this was to deter them from returning or shopping again. Half of the negative reviews here are due to the bad experiences employees give to customers. more than half the time, the items could be accepted as returns, but they choose to say no to keep the store sales intact. All customers must be aware of this information; if you had a bad return experience and your circumstances are still within the return policy, I highly suggest going to ANY other location because they will provide you with 10x the service.

In regards to hiring, I noticed bias and power coming into play. This was particularly noticeable when a very qualified and fashion-forward person of colour applied and her resume was not considered seriously. the lead on the floor said word for word, "we don't need any more cry babies." I find this deeply concerning and have raised this issue with HR, who did not take it seriously. I've had conversations with management where they mocked Asian customers (mocking their eyes, accents. lots of stereotypes.) and said there is no reason to hire Asian employees, etc. This has happened on more than one occasion. Management even told me directly they didn't fully examine my resume and hired me based on my name, which seemed Italian. Cool.
Workplace hostility is also something I've experienced daily at Laura. On a few occasions, my coworkers and I have been targeted to the point of TEARS on the sales floor. This is something that needs to be addressed urgently. Most of the time verbal abuse is inflicted from the same individuals so it is treated as a common occurrence and only important to management if you are persistent in your complaints. the only time my complaint was taken seriously was when I referred to myself as a "maid" and "dog" and threatened to leave early because of the way sales associates treated me and other service coordinators.
In conclusion, I believe Laura is a store with the potential to offer fantastic service and products. However, improvements must be made in certain areas, such as customer service, hiring practices, and workplace culture. I wasn't even formally trained as a Service Coordinator, and I was consistently lectured when I first started a year ago due to my lack of experience in the store.
There are so many stories left to tell about previous employees who were treated horribly. I don't know a single person who left the store on good terms unless they were promoted/transferred or stayed for only 2-3 weeks.

DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE!!!!!! If I could give negative stars I would. I honestly came in one day to look for a present for my grandmother, while walking around I found a cashier being yelled at by her higher up. The words she spoke towards her were so unpleasant and it was over a simple mistake made. I felt very concerned for her since her higher up kept giving her the death stare, hitting her hands while talking and using a disrespectful tone of voice. I just stood there in shock while watching this young girl be belittled and there was nothing I could do nor did any other works try to calm the situation down. other customers and myself had to watch and wait to be helped because the lecture the cashier was given was more important than customer service
This work place is such a toxic and abusive environment, DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY, TIME OR ATTENTION TO THIS STORE.
I was approached by a salesperson who didn’t think I understood that the clothes are organized by size and indicated she didn’t think I could fit into the size I was parousing. It’s 2024. We’re not doing this anymore.

Their staff needs some serious training on customer service and communication skills. It’s appalling how strict they are with their return policy. I wanted to return or exchange an unworn $20 tshirt whose tag unfortunately fell out and their associate Alex literally took 45 minutes to go over camera footage to see if the tag was there during purchase. I wasn’t so upset about them not returning a $20 shirt but she wasted so much of my time just to say no even though I presented the right receipt. I had no idea she was checking the cameras for such a small transaction - she had zero communication with me and just made me wait around…

This store had 0 customer service.
They were great when I walked in the door to buy after spending $600 .
But when you go to return, there are 5 of them standing around. I waited 20 minutes for service.
I got home with a black spot on my $240 dollar jacket called them. I was told to bring it back , and when I did, it was all excuses.
Why nothing could be done..
They think they are smart.
I will never spend another penny there.

Terrible customer service. On December 12, 2023 at around 6 30 PM I had the worst customer service by whom I beleive is called Khadija. I had bought a grey dress during the black friday sale that I then went in to exchange and get price matched to the maroon one. I had travelled from far and have visited many Laura stores. I finally found my size and the colour I wanted in the square one branch. I was SO excited to finally get my hands on it and finally exchange my dress as my sisters wedding shower was JUST the day after and the theme for it was maroon. As I finally take it to the cashier to a woman called Khadija, she first of all was NOT friendly at all. I cannot explain how excited I was to finally get this dress. It has been such an exhausting journey. The woman takes the dress from me and issues a return on it and returns it to the store. I thought that was normal and okay because I beleived that I was just exhanging the grey dress to the maroon dress. They even went and hung it up in the dress section. She then scanned the maroon dressed and asked me TO PAY $100 over the money that was already paid!! I was very confused because Laura clearly mentioned to me before that exchanges are forever feasible and that I can get a price match on my previous dress. I explain that to the woman and she says “oh but the price match is for 14 days and its been 15 days”. Now, I bought the dress online on November 26, 2023 but it only arrived on November 29. The three days before the dress come should not be counted. I was extremely upset and heartbroken. If that was the case, any normal worker in the store is supposed to tell you that you will be charged $100 BEFORE they continue with the transaction!

I was so taken aback by the $100 price so I told her its okay, I do not want an exhange anymore, can I please just have my grey dress back. Then she SAYS “oh, if you want the grey one you will have to pay the current price, I cannot give it to you anymore” I was holding back my tears. I confronted her and told her that she was supposed to tell me that there is a price difference and that usually customer service workers would make you aware of any price change such as a $5 change LET ALONE $100!! She proceeded to blame me for her mistake and had terrible attitude. I left the store without a dress for my sister’s bridal shower and was extremely upset.

I usually visit their Yorkdale Mall location so it was my first time here and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The gentleman upfront helped me with my belt and the lady guided me through their new shoe collection with care and kindness.

I would highly recommend this location. They have a large selection of items and most importantly, common sizes which are difficult to find at other locations.

Asked a gentleman working at the store whether a pair I was interested in were Goodyear welted. He asked “what is that?!” as if I was talking about rocket science. What a shame that this is what Ferragamo has become. It’s a brand that is best fit for selling its belts to teenagers rather than fine footwear. Shame.

I asked if I could use my birthday month 20% told no but in Niagara Falls was told I can use it all month , not just after my birthday. I spent $179.00 so 20% would have made a big difference. Staff not helpful at all.

This is long overdue and my apologies for not added my review earlier.

December 2022 I went to get a dress for an event, Bennaz saw me trying on a red dress however it definitely wasn't the one for me. Somehow this stranger knew what would suit me so well and handed me two dresses and as I was trying the second one on she came in with a third saying she thought it was the one. Don't get me wrong the other dress she great but this one was perfect! She then found a clutch and earring to match!

Thank you Bennaz, so sorry for the late review. I will be back anytime I need another dress!

Prices are not matching the way they advertise
There was a dress $378 original price on the website if they claims to give 80% off then the price of the dress should be $75.60 not $109.99. please hire someone who knows basic Math

Extremely rude and unprofessional manager. We tried on a dress that was priced incorrectly along with 3 other identical ones that were also priced incorrectly at the store and we overheard the manager blame us for price changing. Absolutely disgusted with the conversation. We were willing to pay the higher price but after that conversation, I felt gross being at the store. To the racist manager on that shift, I hope you learn a thing or two on how to communicate in front of customers so that no one ever has to experience that. The lady that helped us was very kind and helpful. We decided to buy the dress online because we couldn’t stand in that store for another second.

My sister was working here, and she left the job because of the injustice that was happening there. According to her, the manager gives hard times to those if she does does not like. Even some workers there have already affected mentally. But if the manager likes some staff members, then they will go for longer breaks including informal ones like taking a coffee from outside. I also heard the manager is much in favor of her countrymates working in the store rather than other nationalities..
Uniqlo’s store in Square-one is quite spacious and well stocked. Specially, during winters their heat-tech based inner wears are life-savers for many, also money savers to be true. Just visit pre winters & grab good thermals for a fair price
Laura is a Canadian garments brand. This store is big and have displyed products nicely segregating sizes and catagories. But the quality and designs of products are ordinary and it's not high fashion. The prices are high as compared to other such brands and keeing in consideration the quality and designs of garments.

I like this store and have been a customer for over 10 years! Lately there has been a new female Indian employee. I will boldly say she is the worst individual to be dealing with customers and staff! She follows customers into the dressing room, yells at her co-workers, is rude and abrupt with customers. This picture is one of the many days I saw her close at least 10 minutes before closing time and locking the door. It is a very unpleasant shopping experience to have someone who is a nervous wreck in the store, running around the aisles doing useless tasks. This employee is definitely NOT an asset to the company.

I visited the SQ 1 location and picked up a belt. Will was awesome and very helpful. He helped me pick the right belt and also cut it to get the fit done perfectly. Overall experience was very pleasant. Will is a great sales person and very patient.

Excellent customer service, attentive, and friendly staff. I walked in looking like an ugly potato and felt like I was treated as caviar. I forgot the Asian woman's name but she was lovely to speak to. Walked out of the store with 3 items. I'll consider shopping here directly rather than purchasing items at Saks.

One of the employees was judgemental and looked down on us because we walked in with casual clothes. She blocked off the front door with the belt barrier as soon as we entered and removed it immediately after we left. We asked about other colours for a bag and all she responded was that the other colours weren't on sale. After escorting another customer, she left to join a co-worker and refused to help us further.

Hi, I would like to applause Alexis who works at the square one Location of Salvatore ferragamo. My husband and I came on Fruday, it was my husband's birthday, I wanted to get him the Belt and Alexis was kind enough to hold the door open 10 mins after closing for me to come and get his birthday gift. I have been shopping at this location since they opened in square one. The staff are very professional and welcoming. Amillia and her staff are some of the most considerate sales personnel that I have met. They should teach some of the stores in that corridor how to make all welcomed in their stores.

The customer service has improved greatly since my last visit. Kathy, is one of the best. I recommend her, just ask for her. She is well informed, I did not feel judged at all. She is kind and very attentive. She goes beyond my expectations. Me and my whole family buy from her. We are so happy with her that we even asked for her schedule to make sure she is there.
ABOUT FERRAGAMO. Their sun glasses are amazing. I wish their jackets which are a beautiful design would be made of other material not leather. Not only because I am vegan but as canadian, leather is not the best choice for cold weather . Yet love their designs, beautiful, stylish, amazing customer service, just material is not cruelty free.

I have become a regular to this store and that’s mainly because of the staff! Amelia and her staff always makes it feel like you’re shopping with your best friend. No pressure, honesty and tons of laughs. The quality and small details on every piece of clothing fits and feels right in all the right places. This holds true even on my first visit to the store.
