Very bad experience, I clearly told him to cut fish into small pieces but when I came home and opened the packet fish was not at all cut almost the complete fish. Staff there is not at all helpfull. Very bad experience

Shopped here before but not again. What I take offence at is watching fish still alive struggling to breath in a shallow pool of dead fish. It’s actually illegal, cruel and against trading standard. And then to point it out and be told “yeah a few of them are still alive”. Right, I’ll shop elsewhere. Didn’t have what I needed anyway.

Great store for all Asian groceries. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable. If you have questions they will do their best to help.

Please check the receipt before you leave, the man on the till scans items more than once and try to trick you to pay more. It happened with me and my friends many times. Never come back again.

Once I got home and went to cook it, it smelt really bad and was clearly not fresh. Avoid this business at all cost unless your New Year’s resolution is to have a bad stomach.

They have some amazing things and it’s a joy to purchase from here because they have a wide selection of things but staff are just unprofessional it’s like they have a bad day every day, the attitude and they way they speak could be improved.

I visited the shop today 09.12.2023.
I've never shopped here before, I was just passing.
The shop is quite smelly. The fish smells very high like it off. I went to buy a few items. I asked him to cut the yam, and he refused. I said no problem, I left my items. Instead, I'll go elsewhere. I won't be going back there again. I don't think the guy at the till was very friendly or accommodating at all..
I don't think I will be visiting this establishment again.

I've been shopping here ever since I moved to Croydon 6 months ago... I've gotten my mum shopping here now too... Staff is lovely, products are good and they are very helpful. Good costumer service. Will continue to come here to buy fish, seasoning and root vegetables 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Great for buying that ingredient for an asian recipe you can't find anywhere else.

I do not recommend buying from here, yesterday I bought some types of fish from them and they were of poor quality and rotten taste. It ended up in the junk

Usually i’m not into giving bad reviews but I have to say they like to look down on customer and follow you around! Since the first time I went there I felt uncomfortable.

Horrible place. Been once, the guy at the counter very dismissive and rude. After a while, I thought to give them a chance and went once more. The fish was not fresh, the odour was horrible when I brought the fish home, my whole house smelled of fish and had to throw it out. Absolute waste of money. Do not recommend!!!

First time here. I wanted to try out sime authentic ingredients for our chinese stir fry rather than supermarket brands. There was such an array of things at reasonable prices. Not just Chinese Vietnamese and Thai foods too. I brought noodles spring rolls and soy sauce. If you want to really spice up your meal I would imagine this is a place to try. The staff were able to answer my questions and were friendly

Yeah, I would say it's a nice place to get some African-Caribbean stuff, you kno like food, snacks, beverages, soup ingredients etc

Best Fishmonger in Croydon. Very very fresh and affordable price for the seasonal fish. Staffs are excellent with good manner.

The guy gave me 3kg of Salmon at a good price even though I originally only asked for 1.5kg. When I got home and cooked it, it tasted off, clearly not fresh and ended up with stomach ache.

Today I went back to Croydon Market Fishmongers and spoke with a man who is either the business owner or the manager, about some fish I bought last week.
The fish looked ok at the time of purchase, but when I cooked the fish, it smells rotten and I had to throw them away.
When I explained to the young man, he seeded to be trying to give excuses as to why it was like that. He even said I should not have put them in the freezer because I said I had washed the 🐟 with lemon🤔….really??? How are you going to tell me how to prepare my fish 🐟. He apologised and offered to replace the fish. However I declined his offer as I was feeling very apprehensive that I would have the same problem.
This shop is somewhere I would regularly but my fish, but now feeling very weary especially as it seemed as though this man really didn’t want to hear about the issue with the fish and started to raise his voice and shouting. I asked him why he was shouting because I wasn’t shouting. He now proceeds to take money from his till to give to me, which I also declined because it wasn’t about the money… it was about bringing it to his attention and voicing my concerns.
On this occasion he failed terribly and if I could have given a Zero star rating, I would have.

The fish is always fresh and well cleaned and they are always willing to give you extra. Jolly good fellows, ready to serve you with a smile. I would highly recommend these guys and moreover the place is sparkling clean and very hygienic.

Bought some small Jacks and other fish first time fish was nice and inexpensive second time which was yesterday fish smelled like they were rotten and I had to throw them away after frying as they stunk never again will I buy fish there

I'm not quite sure if this supermarket used to be called Wing Tai because google shows another supermarket at this exact same location with recent reviews.
Anyway, I definitely visited Daily Fresh Supermarket (Croydon) 天天鮮超市.
Overall, it was well stocked with lots of Asian noodles and even Taiwanese bubbles.
The only gripe was the entrance which is extremely narrow and the cashier is located right there so there will be a queue of people there which you have to get past to get in.
So during these times, I would rather distance myself which is not a problem, ie you can just wait until the queue goes down before going in.
Every time I go in, I generally have a list of what to buy because card payment is 5 pound minimum

Fishes are alway fresh and best staff. Customer service is excellent and really helpful. Would definately recommand their fish as I love buying my fish there. Top guys 👌🏾👌🏾

Wide range of fresh fish, prawns, crabs. Also have done frozen fish. The guys here are super fast and always welcoming. Irrespective of the amount of crowd in-store they always ready to clean and cut your fish.

Such a great place to get your sea food fresh or frozen love there prawns & sea bass what a bunch of great guys working there.always so kind and friendly you just wait as they clean,Cut,and fillets your fish for you...
