Barjot and her staff are absolutely wonderful. And they are beautiful ladies!!!
Barjot was an amazing taco barista and host! She was personable and offered suggestions that were tuned to my tastes after our discussions. The food was amazing!!
Service was unacceptable, weekend is buy 1 get 1 50% off they didn’t add this onto the bill. We weren’t offered a refund only if we wanted free sides which we did not. Only thing they could offer was a free burrito next time we aren’t from Winnipeg. They said they can’t do refunds on debit. Very upsetting
That's a $10 burrito pre-tax. Disappointed in portion size. Seems to be getting smaller and smaller. It's like the toppings are coming out of food attendents' paycheck.
The bowl I got was great. I liked the space it was clean and colourful. The person who served me seemed like she didn’t want to be there. She could have told me she needed to complete the task she was doing instead she ignored me until she could help me and then was indifferent to my ordering. She was okay when I was paying and thanked me for the small tip I gave but I gave her the lowest I give just due to the fact that I felt unwelcome there which shouldn’t be the case.
Such a gem! Authentic tacos made right! Very reasonable prices! Extremely great food and service! It didn't seem busy while we were there, but people were coming in constantly. So encouraging to see lo al small business is supported so well. Everything was very relaxed and simple. The simplicity helps keeps the costs down. We were very pleased!
My husband and I have been here for dine-in as well as pick up! Each and every time the food is delicious! The atmosphere is cozy and home-y, I feel comfortable here. Love the music they play here and the cute secluded two-seater table spot up by the window 😊
Barely noticed this small taqueria when we drove by. Really glad we tried because the food was so worth it. Price was affordable and taste delivered! Cant wait to return for taco Tuesdays! Will recommend for sure!!!
So affordable and yummy! The prices for smaller tacos are $5-6 for 3 tacos (you can mix and match). On taco Tuesdays, Chorizo tacos are only $1 per taco. Their original location is in Osborne but they opened this location after doing good business- I am so glad because it’s closer to me. There is street parking right in front of the store. Staff are very friendly! Restaurant is small, but cozy & casual.

Been going here for the past 2 years. Food is always on point. My go to place each time I want to eat something healthy and under budget. The staff is very polite and friendly and always smiling even during very busy hours. Will definitely recommend everyone to checkout at least once.
Extremely unfriendly staff service. We waited a very long time for the order and your rude girls had the courage to make fun of us. I strongly don't recommend it.

I have came here twice now with my dad and boyfriend. Both times have been nothing less than AMAZING. The staff is always very laid back and welcoming. They are never cheap with portions. Not even sure how they fit it all in one wrap, AMAZING. Love it here!!

There was a mistake with our food that resulted in us waiting a long time, but they gave us 2 beers, the food, and a refund to make it right. Impeccable customer service! The tacos and beer were great too, worth waiting for

The food was really delicious! Enjoyed so much. We had tacos and bare burrito. Plus super friendly girl who made the food is the best one.

I used to visit this place daily back in 2014 tried it again after a decade and its still exactly the same! Same quality, taste and service! Highly recommend it to any burrito lovers!
It's very nice, and the large size is enough to not eat until next day, but you guys need to put some music every time there's clients around.
Very bad customer services. The lady who was serving me had long nails which is the health and safety concerns. I myself am a nutritionist so it doesn’t look nice and professional in a food industry to work with such long nails. I’m not sure who authorise it or management authorise it or not, but this is not ethical and professional. Moreover the attitude of the server was not good. It seems like she was throwing food into my serving plate and it was not a ambient experience at all. I was hungry and waiting for my food since morning due to work. I had to get my food but it was not a pleasant experience here.

Service is good and they speak fluent Spanish so if you know the language you can order that way.

Mexican food has integrated itself in the daily cuisine. And Burrito Del Rio is an embodiment of why that is the case. This Mexican food shack has by far the best burrito in Winnipeg. Their prices are pretty much the same as all other franchise Mexican corners. The difference being the self made ingredients the perfect combination of stuffing. They load the burritos to the max. It's just so fulfilling. I tried chicken burrito and the chicken was just so juciy and flavorful. The tacos 🌮 they are nothing less than the burrito again since the same ingredients it all blends really well. Definitely a staple Mexican place in Winnipeg and a must try.
06/06/2023. Dropped by to pickup lunch for 3. I really like the place. It’s sort of hard to find a parking spot. We parked across the street by the church. We were getting takeout so no problem. If you plan to dine-in I suggest you watch the clock as the parking patrol checks regularly. The place is not that big but the size fits the area. The selection is very good. We were given options for our Burritos which was nice. The portion is I just right at least for me. Lots of flavour and well worth going to. The only thing was a customer had a dog not on a leash. In my view unacceptable. Put the pooch on a leash or keep it out of the restaurant.
All in all a good place to go and is comparable to most taco place we go to in Phoenix.

I ordered the pork tacos. The tiniest tacos I've ever had. The meat was flavorless and super tough. The counter service was lovely. If you want tacos go to BMC taco on south Osborne. Even for a corporate, mall-like food court, these tacos are not worth it
Tacos were alright but not the best. Meat was cold. Great customer service but I would go else where to eat tacos. You cannot mix and match, you get the same 3 tacos when ordering, would be better if it was mix tacos. Elote dip with chips were alright too...would not recommend to friends/family.
Came by for a quick visit at True North Square. I really appreciate all the different seating areas within Hargrave St. market. Many restaurants to choose from. Ended up choosing to try The Good Fight Taco for a quick snack. Price per portion was decent, i’m unsure of other places in Winnipeg offering similar so I can’t compare, but i have had similar in other cities that are more affordable. The al pastor tacos were just ok, i found it overall to be on the bland and dry side, not even the good spicy salsa it came with could save it. If you are going to try this place maybe skip the al pastor…
So much yes. You walk in and you just know the food is going to be damn good. And for my first time here, it did not disappoint. I got the Barbacoa burrito and was feeling a little hungry so I got the large. And large it was! I felt like it could feed 3 people. Customize your own food, spice it up to your taste and liking. The food will leave you satisfied and maybe a little gassy for the next few days!
Ended up at Hargrave Market the other night and thought I'd try Good Fight Taco. I had the shrimp tacos and they were pretty tasty BUT the price vs food ratio is wild. I know costs have gone up for restaurants but not to this degree. If you don't mind overpaying, they're good. But Ive had excellent shrimp tacos elsewhere for less, in larger qty.
The menu is small but I think they make it up for the price and quality. Price is affordable (3 tacos for $10), you can choose from different toppings and the serving is not bad either, Vegetarian options are also available. I would recommend eating here if you are craving for some Mexican food.

They definitely serve a decent burrito. The large is a BEAST! I was not expecting such a huge amount of food. There was surprisingly more meat in it than veggies (I'm a little sad it didn't have more veg) with a good amount of rice and beans. The burrito was put together a lot better than some other places and was flavourful. The pulled pork was delicious. I would come back.

Ordered the Birria tacos and was disappointed. For $16.50 cad you receive three small tacos. I understand it is a touristy and hip area but for that price they should taste exceptional and be filling. The meat was dry and not very hot. I also found them bland. My order was to go, yet there were no napkins in the bag. One good thing was that the service was fast.
Always nice and clean, security keeps everything under control and keeps out the bad elements from coming in. Good selections of take out restaurants to choose from and clean safe place to eat your food. Hopefully they get a few more stores to add to their selection of retail.
Love this place, especially if you're looking for something fast and reasonably healthy. Their jerk chicken and veggie burrito is spectacular. I love that both beans are vegetarian. They have great short term new specials, Staff and owner is always smiling and friendly. never charge for extra sauce like other places.
Everyone needs to try the El Pastor Taco 🌮 !! It is amazing and if you are a fan of pulled pork you will enjoy this option.

I was the first customer for their Northern Reaper Burrito. It is Hot! Definitely tasty but making a point of signing a waiver is probably smart to explain to people how hot it really is. Would buy it again. Staff are very friendly.
BMC Taqueria always a great place for tacos. $1.25 chorizo tacos on Tuesdays. But regularly 3 for $5.99 still a great deal. Quesadillas are also a great menu item to get.
