Probably the worst mexican restaurant I've ever been to! Nachos were sad, cold, store bought, with store bought guacamole and salsa roja that tasted more like curry than anything else. Quesadilla was also poor with even more of the said curry salsa. Pico de gallo was tastelles chopped tomato and nothing more. Unfortunately, even the margarita tasted bad! Prices too high for the offered quality. Absolutely do not recommend this place!
Every time I am in Berlin my friend and I get ourselves over to Girasol for some amazing cheese and chips and chimichangas. Can’t forget the frozen margaritas!

Good taste and large portions. They also have the classic Mexican soda – Jarritos.

Tasty tortilla soup, but stay way from the nachos! Taste is not bad, aside from the nachos, nothing to blow your mind, though. Friendly and attentive staff

Really love coming to Chupenga for years! The value for money is great, it’s a great place to eat fresh and healthy food. They are even offering pickled onions and jalapenos for free now! Additionally staff is very friendly and there’s a nice terrasse outside to enjoy the sun.
Had an awesome salad at Chupenga! Super fresh and tasty. Products of high quality (chicken, sauces, etc) The staff was friendly and quick. Definitely coming back!
I was amazed by their presentation, attentiveness, portion size and quality! Really loved the Vegetarian burrito, and the baked cheese in it surprised me. Cherry on the top was the delicious watermelon flavoured schnapps to end our lunch. Hands down recommended for all.

Preis/Leistung stimmt meiner Meinung nach nicht. Zu 4 (3 Erwachsene ein Kind) 65€ ausgegeben und bis auf den kleinen ist keiner Satt geworden, da hätte man nochmal 30-40 ausgeben müssen. Geschmaklich war es lecker aber jetzt auch keine Gaumensensation. Ich werde aufgrund des Verhältnis von Preis zur Portionsgröße nicht wieder hingehen, da kann man ins Restaurant gehen.
Perfect Mexican take away - though we are there. Food was more than delicious! And the service was fast. My kids loved it - said it was the best guacamole ever!

Probably the most authentic & tasty taco joint I’ve been to in Berlin. Just a few things on the menu, but all perfectly done. Pricey, but more bang for your buck than most other taco places in Berlin.

The stuff were really nice, the food was tasty, the portions were quite big and the cocktails were good (especially the mango colada) if you like Mexican food you should give this place a visit and when you come make sure you're hungry, one main dish and your full.
We are tourists but there was no language barrier what so ever, one guy even spoke my mother tongue which was a pleasant surprise.
Would come again but we're in Berlin just for a week :)

The best burrito that I had in Berlin!
Very fat, chunky and tasty, perfect mix of flavors. The place is really small and always crowded, but the atmosphere is really friendly and welcoming.

Netter kleiner Mexikaner! Als Toppings stehen leider aktuell nur 3 Sorten zur Verfügung, die Nopales haben mir davon am besten geschmeckt. Der Käse in den Quesadillas hätte noch etwas intensiver sein können (Queso Oaxaca z.B.) und beim Aqua Fresqua Horchata bräuchte es keinen Sirup und auch weniger Eis fände ich besser! Trotzdem war ich glücklich mit dem Essen und war danach satt, mein Mund brannte angenehm. Alles zusammen hat 17€ gemacht (02/24). Die mexikanische Musik und die bunte Verzierung sind nett und lassen das triste Berlin draußen, aber noch fehlt mir das echt Persönliche, es wirkt noch sehr "neu" und zusammengeschustert, dabei gibt es das Restaurant schon länger!
We always pick-up or deliver from Dolores because there are always many people inside and outside. I tried at least 10 times in Dolores.
Burrito is so big that I can eat even twice(Lunch&Dinner haha), and I also recommend taco with beef inside! Don’t forget to order nachos with sauce! It’s so crispy!

The place is very small and it can get quite crowded. But don't let this hold you back. The food is delicious, with a homemade feeling. I can only recommend it. The service was friendly and very quick. The burrito was great and the tacos too. They don't take reservations and there's not many places to sit, so be prepared.
One of the best places in Berlin to get Mexican food. Very tasty and price is reasonable. I usually order a bowl and and a beer 🍺

I dont know about this one. I love burritos, and this one has so many great reviews, but I was so disappointed. The burrito was ok but nothing extraordinary and a little bland tasting. The service was not good. The staff seemed extremely annoyed having to deal with the customers. They have hangouts of the steps, like first choose burrito, taco, bowl etc. Second step choose veggie, meat etc. Third rice, beans, etc. but when they ask you, they ask in a different order than how the steps are shown. I just thought it to be a bit confusing, because the staff doesn't explain anything. They are extremely stingy with ingredients like the guacamole even if you tell them they can charge for extra... The atmosphere was canteen like and loud. I wouldn't come back and can't recommend this one.
avoid this place if possible. not much flavor and expensive for what it is. you can only choose 1 sauce and they say corn is a sauce. definitely not mexican food. good thing it’s the chilean and not mexican consulate next door.
Went there for brunch. We wanted to try tacos but they only had soft tacos and said we can only get one kind ( 3 same tacos ) so that was disappointing. Then I ordered spicy chicken burritos which they told me later that they didn’t had. So had to take lemon one. Food was not bad. However the girl at front didn’t speak German or English so that was hard to communicate.

We had a burrito, quesadilla and the tacos. I can't really say wich one was the worse. The food tasted very plane and without any flavours. Everything was so dry and the Mexican flavours were not there at all. Very disappointed, we had the worst dinner experience. We could not eat the food
Service is really good, the atmosphere is cool, food is good but not the best Mexican food in town so I will give it 3/5 for the food.
We ate here with 5 persons. Service/ staff was good en friendly. Taste and presentation of the food was also good, but it tasted a bit to salty. The size of the portions were perfect.

Great and authentic Mexican food. The atmosphere reminded me of some restaurants in Mexico.

Many people like the food here, unfortunately I’m not the one. It’s actually very pricey comparing to similar food like Kebab. Doesn’t like the ground beef sauce as I don’t think it’s worth the price. Many chips and yogurts made me feel I’m not eating a meal but just a snack. Sorry for that
after a week on the cruise ship MSC Fantastica in the fjords of Norway, we returned to Berlin. Don't miss the opportunity to return to the Cancun restaurant for a new culinary experience. I was not disappointed by the choice made this time either!!!
Tacos and quesilladas were ok. Service is ok. Atmosphere ok. Basically nothing went wrong but prices are a bit high for this kind of canteen. It is okay to gi if you're in the hood but i wont travel through the city for it. Only cash payment.
This was to be the place i used to get slightly more decent tacos than other places in Berlin. Sadly the quality has gone down dramatically. At first it was a roulette wheel, one day good, another day bad, another worse. The prices are also not attractive, 12 euros for 3 low-quality mini tacos on average. I need at least two orders for a meal. That is 4 euros per taco, although the ingredients are homemade and fresh, those are the most expensive tacos of which I have oral and written records in old and new world. But this is not the worst, after having a beer and a Jarrito, I have the need to use the bathroom. They don't have a bathroom!!!!!! isn't that illegal? I had to go find a bathroom in the neighboring bars. Of course these bars are fed up with Chaparro customers asking to use the bathroom. They sent me to hell, and they're right.

Loved the food. They had so many vegan and vegetarian options. I tried the veggies, black beans and soy meat. All were really good. I also loved how fresh the guacamole and salsas were. I’d definitely go back!

Best burritos!! They are huge and so so delicious. If u want to finish it, go in with an empty stomach. Love love love. I had fresh avocado burrito but you can choose a custom one for a simular price :)
Dolores Berlin is my go-to for a quick, quality meal in the city. The authentic burritos they offer are consistently excellent and reasonably priced. I've visited multiple times this year and never been disappointed. A must-try in Berlin. Solid 5 stars!
Highly recommend this bar/restaurant. Plenty of cocktails to choose from aswell as other drinks. Reasonably priced for a city centre, waiters are friendly although on one occasion we was here the waiter asked for a tip which I don’t agree with.
The cocktails are watered down. When asked to replace were told that this is how they serve them. I was asked if i would like another drink as a replacement, i asked for a beer, but was asked to get another drink to match the price of the moscow mule,so was forced to order another shot.
The whiskey sour was all together another story. No whiskey and just sour. Tasted exactly like lemonade.

A fantastic place to get great tasting authentic Mexican food in the centre of Berlin. There is lots of seating inside and outside and a large selection of food to choose from at a reasonable price.

We had some tacos and quesadillas here the other day. Is a nice small place that gets you close to the real Mexican experience. The food was not bad but the tortillas were way too hard (which is ironic as the whole first page talks about you having to eat fast that they do not get hard, and I literally started to eat the second I go them, so that was not the problem). Will probably be back again and check out if that is a constant or just a one time thing.

Worse than I thought and the expectations were low. The margarita tasted like it was mixed with sprite and the service was exceptionally unfriendly. The server also never brought us our change. Definitely to be avoided!
I am from Texas, and have been to many Mexican/Latin food places in Europe. This is one of the best ones. We came closer to peak time for dinner, and they were able to seat us. The atmosphere was great, and the music wasn't too loud.
The food was delicious! They have several options. We got the wings, nachos con queso, flautas de Pollo, and the enchiladas de pollo. Everything was on point. The service is different here than back in the states, so it did take a min to flag someone. Once we did though, it was fine. They were pretty on top of it. Would definitely like go back.

Great Mexican cafe/restaurant, you build your own bowl or burrito from the menu, very helpful staff guide you through the process. Good meat and vegetarian options.

Today was my fourth visit here, really enjoyed the dishes we had ordered.
They have great cocktail options and they have special hours for everyday of the week. Do try to grab one if you visit the place.
When it comes to Mexican food this is my go to option.
They serve huge portions so better be prepared to fill yourself up.

A really nice no-nonsense Mexican joint between boxi and Ostkreuz run by a bunch of really friendly guys.
The menu seems "vast" given the variety of tacos, quesadillas, etc but there's primarily just 3 flavours meaning you know it'll be good because they're not overcomplicating the menu.
5 tacos for 13Eur is great value and the flavours were really fresh and delicious. Their salsa seems nicely homemade and has a kick to it. The tacos are packed with flavour and incredibly tasty.
The only drawback would probably be the cheese which melts and gets really rubbery quickly, but doesn't really impact the flavor negatively in any way.

I had the Chicken Quesadilla and it was a good portion of food, the flavor was ok, not as authentic Mexican food flavors as I read on the reviews; The Michelada was NOT a Michelada, but it was an ok drink. I would go back to try something different for sure.
The best Tacos I've ever had, the quality as well as the flavours are superb and the portions are huge! Initially I wanted to order 5 tacos but I was plenty full with just 4. We just had a little misunderstanding about which tacos are included in the taco wednesday offer but the owner was super nice about it :) there's no service but that's totally fine! I'll come back for sure
Very overpriced for the portion, food and service. Taco Tuesday is apparently on Wednesday, not Tuesday. “Nachos” are tortilla chips with guac for €7, slushy margarita €6 each. 3x tacos €10,90. Order and pay first. No washroom for customers. Limited seating. Stack your trays/clear the table yourself when done. The tacos tasted pretty good but wouldn’t go back here.
Very neat and small Mexican restaurant in Kreuzberg. Staff is very friendly, the food is fresh and served very quickly. Vegetarian options available. The price is fair. Try the nachos and the home made guacamole!
These tacos are sooooo good. Pork tacos is just a burst of flavour in your mouth and cactus ones have a great texture. The only problem is that five tacos are never enough. It’s also a great place to buy freshly made tortillas.
Very sick spot. Easy to miss but genuinely serving up some of the best tortillas in Berlin. Appearance and opacity passed the eye test. Decent-ish diameter with high moisture content. Wrapping the filling was not a problem and the textural properties held. The whole spread was good quality. We added some hot sauce to give it that extra oomph (they were selling a bunch in the shop) but they were good enough standalone. Service was fantastic and the owner was a genuine and friendly dude. Top marks - make sure to check this spot out!
Had a naked Burrito with beef (the main ingredient makes the price) and it was delicious. Had the mild salsa, very good, as well as guacamole and nachos. The aqua frescas are yummy and refills are free. Fast food, that is delicious, great quality and at a decent price! Would recommend! Lunch hour is full and has a long line, that moves fast! Additional hot sauces are provided as well!
