Small Mexican restaurant offering believable tacos even if it’s not run by Mexicans. They have tacos al pastor, de asada, de tinga, rajas, de papas and nopales. All well executed, with friendly service and cold drinks. To be improved: no hot sauce on the table is not easily forgivable, and way too much single use plastic is used (not every bit of the Mexican experience needs to be replicated). A bit out of the way but worth a visit.

Had tacos asada and gringa with mushrooms for lunch. Gringa was excellent, tacos very dry and tasteless. The service and atmosphere were a bit sad, I wanted to get some ice for my drink, the servers were mostly talking and smoking. They also never asked how our food was so I can give feedback in person.
Had the pork and chicken tacos with guacamole and I liked the taste. I was surprised to see that there was no hot sauce option on the tables.
I highly recommend their coconut lemonade!

Tacos there are good. They contain serious amounts of filling comparing to other tacos I have eaten in Copenhagen. Although regarding the taste I expected little more from beef and pork tacos. On the other hand staff is extremely nice and place itself looks cozy.

Great food, amazing service & lovely vibe.
Those were some killer tacos & delicious aagua frescas I’ve had in awhile.
I’d say they’re even on-par with what you can get at a great place in California. If you haven’t been you gotta go & try it that’s all I can say 🌮🌮🌮

For me only downside is it opens
like 4:30pm, but it’s worth it.

Best Mexican restaurant in all Copenhagen. The pastor that they make is the best one I’ve ever tried. Great on the burrito, tacos and even as a topping for nachos. I truly recommend to anyone.
This place is ELITE; I’ve lived and traveled through Europe for the past 8 years and this is by far the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in that time period. Barbacoa was perfectly seasoned and my wife enjoyed her vegetarian-friendly Soy-Chorizo.

I’ll definitely be back my next time in Copenhagen.

The food was amazing, the guy serving us was super nice as well, you can sit in or outside.
Too bad we had to leave Denmark already, we would definitely come back!!
We visited Tacopop with my wife and we really enjoyed it. The food was excellent and the people working there were very polite and kind. I recommend this place to everyone.

This place doesn't serve food worthy of human consumption. The head chef is named Chef Mike, and I use him at home to heat up frozen food.

It is extremely bland, which happens when you microwave a burrito and use bad ingredients.

The sickening thing was that we couldn't pick it up without it decaying and, therefore, had to dig into the abomination with a fork.

I wouldn't be surprised if fødevarestyrelsen shuts this place down within a week.

Was pondering should try burrito or quesadilla, ended up ordering quesadilla, but got burrito 🤷 First, was interested in the presentation of it, then felt scammed as it tasted like food coming straight from the microwave, then other people ordered after me and remember hearing the microwave for their order as well. The salsa and guacamole were fine, as well as the chips, but that's it. Do not recommend with both hands up, only one 🤦‍♂️

The food is okay, but it's too expensive and the handheld food is covered in so much cheese and sauce that it's almost uneatable and immediately so soggy that it felt more like a salad than a burrito.
Also, a burrito with litteraly nothing but beans and chicken is pretty bland.
Was not expecting good Mexican food in Copenhagen. Coming from a Californian, 10/10. Highly recommend the barbacoa. The guy who runs it is a fun time and my friend claims this was the best burrito she has ever had.

I saw a Mexican flag so as a Mexican myself my expectations were higher (after all I have not been able to find a real mexican food restaurant in CPH), I got the burritos, the filling was great, the beans were tasty, the tortilla was good, yet there is room for improvement. The guacamole tasted like garlic more than the avocado or lime in the traditional Mexican cuisine, I feel the burrito needed some rice in the feeling, and the salad with the good jalapeños inside the burrito. Other than that I was amazed to see they had home-made tortillas.
I will and I would recommend the restaurant.

First, double check the date of the reviews. The place went under new ownership about a year ago and the new food is much, much better. It's pretty close to authentic Tex-Mex, but less spicy hot and a little sweeter to cater to native tastes. Love the new outdoor pallet seating.
Very delicious food, they nicely surprised me to make gluten free version of tacos. Very good joice of limonades and non-alcoholic beer. Self service street food with option to eat inside.

Overpriced, considering the serving sizes! Portion sizes are all on the smaller side, and we generally missed more of the fillings. The tacos were the best option, but could easily be filled more up! The fish pieces on the fish tacos were also small, and mostly batter. Burritos were too filled with the (cheap) rice.
Water was 25 kr pr person, which is ridiculous when its just tap water. Wont come back, sorry
Food was decent but we waited an hour for nachos! And then 30 min more for the next meal! They forgot what we did order and charged for more than we got. Don’t ever got here! Sorest experience I’ve tried in a long time…

pros: great flavours, great vibes, awesome music
cons: only 7 seats inside (bar-style) and the pricing is just a little too high, compared to other places (and general street food)

I visited Pastor Tacos on a Sunday.
It is a Mexican restaurant , run by a lovely Mexican family that will make you feel like a home. I went there for lunch, and the tacos I had were just amazing. Dippings as well.
The waiters were so helpful in explaining the menu (I am lactose intolerant) and make my meal lactose free.
It was such a cozy and friendly atmosphere, the place looks amazing and I will definitely come back! Hasta pronto!
Just had an amazing meal at the Østerbro location. Authentic and delicious tacos in a cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon for more!

I absolutely love Mexican food and after visiting the country a couple of times, I've had a hard time finding anything here in Copenhagen that I would like. So far Pastor Tacos is the best Mexican (proper Mexican) food I had in Copenhagen! More authentic than most, tasty and with good prices. The staff is Mexican and Spanish and the owners are Mexican, and you can tell they all know what they are doing :) super kind staff and I love the little authentic Mexican touches they had on the decor!

First and second time we loved it. Unfortunately the quality was not quite right this time. The tortillas tasted old / stale and the beef chewy. Disappointing.
I ordered a quesadilla, what I was given bears a striking resemblance to a taco. It was okay, not the big food experience of the week. In any case, a Taco costs DKK 70, a Quesedilla DKK110 - I was cheated out of DKK40. No wonder she was happy I didn't want a receipt.

Great inexpensive “mexican” food. The portions are huge and filling and the prices are really low for the amount of food you’re getting. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite. Ordered takeaway but the place is decent, not a lot of place to sit if you’re in large groups. Overall would buy again!
