I’ve done grocery pickup form this store a couple of times, and each time it takes 60 min or more. The last time, I called the pickup number a second time and was informed the gentleman who answered the first time never checked me in.

Not a single infant sun hat in stock in the entire store,
Speaker in the mother’s room is BLARING.. how the hell am I supposed to sooth a baby amidst WWIII? I asked a staff member if we could turn it down, she was very apologetic and equally disappointed, said there’s nothing she can do, that I can complain to management but it’s a waste of time, they won’t do anything.

Whoever the store manager is for the Bloomington Walmart store needs to be fired - ASAP. 90% of the time, the shelves are half empty and they are out of most things. The employees ignore you. I've written several complaints, someone calls me and expresses their apology - - however, the employees still remain with bad attitudes and nothing changes. Today, Ive been on hold for at least twenty minutes trying to get someone on the phone - middle of the day and no one answers! Absolutely NO ONE is held accountable! That must be an easy job for this store manager - not much is required of you....just show up! The difference between the Bloomington location and the Normal location is like night and day. The Normal store is 100% better!

On April 7th, 2024, all hotels in Bloomington were booked. All but one. It was time to check in to the Wally Hotel. I walked in 10 minutes before close to check in with the concierge. She warmly greeted me and assured me that many rooms were available tonight, I just needed to provide my own car.

I used the tastefully flooded bathroom, and walked back to my car. I moved it to a dimly lit spot, pulled out my sleeping bag, and climbed into my backseat. The hospitality crew had placed a semi truck near my room, whose soft rumbling guided me to sleep.

I woke up well rested and happy. A great night at the Wally Hotel.

Very nice, very clean but the button never works for the liquor aisle...always have to find a worker to come there and help rather than them come when the button is being pressed..other than that really enjoy this Walmart.

This Walmart is a hit or miss. The layout is fine. The prices are fine. There is plenty of parking. If you opt for pickup, there are many spaces for that.

My main issue is with the staff. When coming in, depending on who is working, some greet you and some don't.

The self checkout is sometimes a nightmare to deal with. I was there recently and the machine would not weigh correctly. The machine then said a staff member was on the way. However the staff member was just standing at the employee podium just watching everyone. I had to wave the employee down to do an override.

If you need a place to go for groceries or other items, it is a decent place to go. The main issue for me was the staff.

This was my first time at Often Running. I felt the gentleman that helped me was knowledgeable about the footwear, was friendly, and very helpful. I'll be returning.

While looking for new sneakers and after having a very disappointing experience at a local big sports store, I stopped into Often Running to check on the selection. Marcus, their shoe guy, was *incredibly* helpful and knowledgeable about shoes and their mechanics and helped me find two new pairs (for slightly different purposes) that I am very happy with a week later. They have training, running, walking, and biking shoes and some other shoes like slides. Prices are comparable to other outlets, but the service is exceptional.

Marcus was fantastic! He was helping three different groups and did so with ease. All of us felt listened to and cared for. Fantastic service, very knowledgeable and very kind!

Amazing crew will visit again. The lady at the far left cashier Indian - she’s a little lazy. Lol it’s all good thought I might have reacted differently if I wanted to say something but she was a little rude. Her department was the outdoor. I also like the fact they support the local people :). Keep it up 👍. Amazing honestly.

I have been getting my shoes from here for years and the staff is always so knowledgeable and helpful. Until moving out of Bloomington, I thought that was the standard for these stores, but no other shop I have gone to has even come close to being as great as these guys. I now make the trip back every time I need new shoes.
I was suffering an Achilles injury and the staff assessed my stride, suggested the best shoe model, and even knew which cushioned soles would help best. Thanks to their help, after a month and a half of being unable to run, I'm back to running normal distances after just a week in the shoes they suggested. I doubt I'll ever shop for running shoes anywhere else!

As a newer runner experiencing mysterious ankle pain, a friend of mine recommended getting fitted for actual running shoes instead of running in my two year old hiking shoes I’d been wearing for the last two months.

I went to Often Running unsure of what I was even looking for but hoping someone would be able to help explain my ankle issues and possibly point me in the direction of some better shoes.

Noah was extremely helpful and explained the issue with the current shoes I was wearing, the possible cause of my ankle pain, and assisted with trying on several pairs of running shoes. As a new runner, I knew absolutely nothing about the different types of shoes or padding involved. Noah was very helpful and knowledgeable in explaining everything and took his time to make sure I found the right pair of shoes for me. The shoes I ended up with have made a huge difference!

Wow, awesome place. As others said, if you are buying online, you are missing knowledgeable advice. Places like this are a gold mine and worth spending a little extra for. I drove an hour to get the in person advice on what type of shoe for my type of running. Walked in and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. Grant helped me out today. Top notch!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience! I got my first pair of running shoes from them years ago and enjoyed them and the service so much I returned for my replacement pair. They are the two best pairs of shoes I have ever owned. They are super comfortable and supportive shoes and the store has fantastic staff! The associate sat with us for 30 to 45 minutes recommending shoes, I never felt pressured, he provided wonderful conversation, and helped me land on yet another stellar pair! I wouldn't shop for my running shoes anywhere else!
