I contacted the store regarding selling some silver items. Although in the end I did not sell the items I received clear instructions on the process of shipping and payment. The conversation was courteous and professional. If I have items to sell in the future I would consider Pushkin Antiques.

Chinese antiques which look original but probably need an expert to check but the price is are not too bad and the pieces look very beautiful

I was nervous buying a silver top claret jug on-line. But from the very start of my contact with Pushkins Antiques, I felt reassured by the helpfulness and professionalism of the staff. I received the jug very promptly and initially considered returning it and once again, I was very impressed by the attitude and helpfulness of the staff who immediately arranged collection of the jug. I decided to keep the jug and and am absolutely delighted with it. Overall, this was one of my most positive experiences buying good on-line. I will most certainly return to Pushkins for any future purchases of antiques.

I had a most pleasant experience! I bought a Jaques Chess set in excellent state for a very good price. Most importantly, this chess set was very carefully and professionally packed and arrived perfectly in Brazil. I am most thankful to Dumitry who guided me perfectly during all the process. With the rise in James Bond memrobilia at all major auction houses around the world, great buy to own and have before it won't be affordable anymore. I’d heard about the place, but live in London and so put it off. Decided to head down and very pleased I did as it was is one of the best antiques shop I’d been to in years with very knowledgeable staff and I’ll certainly be going back

I am feeling really excited that the local freeholder has Finally done something special with this space. As a silver dealer myself, it was a really positive tour with the manager, some great silver, art deco and Tunbridgeware.

It was a brave investment and a great fit-out. I will raise this at the new leader of TW’s Council Ben’s business session next week. Way to go Tunbridge Wells!

We bought a stunning Venetian dresser from Phoenix Antiques. They exercise incredible humility considering they clearly have a discerning eye for furniture honed over years in the business. The prices are surprisingly reasonable too. We will be shopping there again and can highly recommend paying them a visit.

Great team with wonderful insight and enthusiasm for all things antiques. They have completely transformed the corn-exchange into an exemplary showroom with an incredible array of items: Georgian glassware, silver, 20th century art glass, everything porcelain etc.. It really fits in with the wider Pantiles vibe.

Well wort a visit even if just for a day out to meet Eric (who is just as warm in person) & the team, and check out the beautifully decorated displays - you could spend hours in the place!

Jane Hayes. You invalidated our insurance by not taking one image of the damage you found. You did not adhere to our return policy and were vindictive in trying to charge us ten times the cost of the outbound delivery and insisting this was paid prior to return. This fails the common sense test. The copy email you posted invalidates your own argument.

Best selection of early English Porcelain I have seen anywhere in Kent. I went in to buy some Worcester and left with an 18th century drinking glass. Charming staff, I will return!

I bought a sterling silver tea set from Ian Knowles at Scottish Antiques.
He assured me based on his 40 year reputation that is was in perfect condition.
It arrived in NYC dented and scratched but no damage to to box.
They refused to send me a return label and told me to send it back and they would reimburse me.
This was after they accused me of deliberately damaging the tea set.
I went to the UPS store and the return cost with insurance cost $400.
They refuse to reimburse me and have sent a series of nasty emails.

Its great to see the Corn Exchange flourishing again. Eric Knowles and colleagues have built an arcade full of delectable items ranging from 17th century wine glasses through Art Deco furniture, chandeliers, coloured glass vases from Daum and Lalique to silverware and many other fine pieces. Very worthy of a visit!

Bought a lovely item ''On Trust'' {From photographs only}..Very helpful, and worked with my courier. Item was just as I expected from detailed photographs, good service.

A genuine hidden gem with wonderful Chinese and Japanese antiques to browse. I would honestly have bought everything if I could and the owner is so helpful and knowledgeable about the items all of which are priced very reasonably. thank you!

Such a pleasure to shop here. The stock is diverse, beautiful and well priced. The owner is charming, helpful and not a typical pushy sales person. It's obvious that she loves what she does.
I find it difficult to not try to buy everything. From small items, lovely painted wood chests, side tables to large carved cabinets, there's something to suit every pocket.
Best of all these are unique handmade antiques. So very tactile, all with a story. You can buy a one off statement piece or a small gift just go buy!
