The nearest Metro Station to Jama Masjid.One of the famous place in all over India. The station has 3 gates. Very crowded but easily connected with Jama Masjid main gate.
Gate number 2 is nearest to Jama masjid also you can reach Red fort from this metro station which is at walkable distance.
also outside metro station you can find a lot of cheap things to buy. Discretion is maintained neat and clean.

MONTH OF VISIT : ? I visited this area near Jama Masjid in May when Ramzan was going on and in day time ( 2-3pm)
REASON OF VISIT : ? I went there because I wanted to try delicious food and I consider no better time than Ramzan to visit this place.
AREA COVERED : ? I covered lane opposite to Gate No. 1
FOOD : Since I am vegetarian I had very less option to choose and thus made sure to try all that comes under my category
1) Sharbat E Mohabbat : This is the best thing and was my very reason of coming here. I thankfully get to try this. This drink is best summer drink which I think can come into all cities. This is a mixture of Roohafza, water, milk and watermelon.
Price : Rs. 70
2) Shrimal : The second dish which I have tried on this lane was shrimal which has huge variety from pistachio to almond.
Price : Rs 70-100
3) Kiwi and Dragon Fruit Plate : Just when you are roaming around here you will surely feel the need of keep hydrating yourself and KIWI and DRAGON FRUIT at just Rs. 10 are something which you should not afford to miss.
4) Dates : Rest you will see many vendors of dates which has dry as well as packed dates.

This is another best station of Delhi metro. This metro station of great help because this is old Delhi and very crowded. Reaching chandi chokwk without metro can be a headache. Well maintained infrastucture. Get out of the metro station you will find great street food. This place also famous for cheap street shopping.
