Nice view today
BART ride was very safe, cheap, convenient. Bart is 10$ to get to town, uber would have charged 80$ - for less than 5 min time difference! Trains very clean, plenty of security staff.
Leaving was super efficient but entering the country took more than an hour. It's difficult to tell which terminal I was supposed to go to.
The airport is outstanding the baggage center is a nightmare- takes over an hour ( experience over several times) for bags to get to baggage claim - way longer than immigration customs etc - if they could fix baggage this airport would rock - landed an hour ago n not a single bay yet from our flight
It is a crowded airport. Compared to other airports, trains to other towns are accessible in this airport which made me feel secure while traveling at night. Knowing that I don’t need to go out of the airport to ride a public transport.
Welcome to San Francisco. If you survive the BART things will improve and I think you will enjoy the Bay Area. However while on BART be very careful, this is not your safe European or Asian transport system. Many people get on BART without paying with the intent of getting money off the passengers, or just playing loud music and other activities for the purpose of scaring the passengers. There are very few police or other security people. You may well find yourself alone with a person suffering mental difficulties. I am a public transport fan, I wish I could be more positive, but basically you need to be warned to ride BART at you own risk. Locals understand this and ridership is down about 50%.
San Francisco International Airport is a convenient location for air travel, offering easy access to the city and beyond. If you're flying United Airlines, you can expect a friendly and helpful crew, which can make for a pleasant flight experience.

As for dining options, the airport may leave something to be desired. There are limited choices for restaurants both inside and outside of the gates, so plan accordingly if you're looking for a particular type of cuisine or meal. However, there are still some decent options available, and you can always bring your own snacks or meal to the airport.

Overall, San Francisco International Airport is a decent choice for air travel. While the dining options may not be abundant, the location is convenient, and the friendly and helpful crew can make for a positive flight experience.
I arrived from South Korea and was transferring to the United Airlines flight to Newark. Originally my flight was to JFK and UA changed it as they no longer fly to JFK. On arrival I was really confused but there were abundant guides pointing out directions. Exp Ct to walk, walk, walk an walk if you are coming from overseas before you come to immigration. Again guides will direct you to the correct line.

They have an extensive check of all incoming travelers including the booth that X-rays you. I have never had such a safety check so plan on it and gauge your time to the next flight if this is tarriving and they will help you decide where the same different gates are located. It is best to examine the airport before leaving on your trip. In that way you will be familiar with the layout and not confused as to where you must go to find your next flight. The reason I say to do this before leaving is that once you arrive, it is difficult to stop and familiarize your self with the airport.

Ion closing this is a well laid out airport. I have travelled through it a number of times times.destination is the east coast.

Iconic, free, lots of walking trails, looks like a blast to cycle.
BUS to return, as of yesterday we did not see any MUNI service. You have to take the $5 Golden Gate transit.

In my entire I never dreamed of visiting one of the well known largest suspension bridges 🌁 in the 🌎. The Golden Gate was a whole new experience for me.
Phenomenal!! Walking on the bridge is pure exhilaration! The sea breeze - looking up through the fog up the suspension wire to the top of the bridge gong to infinity in the fog! Just Wow!! Bling Blinky of Texas Shout Out: Legendary view of the City by the Bay with every step!! Wow!
This is simply the best and most touristic place in San Francisco. I don't think any tourist want to miss the opportunity to take the photo of Golden Gate Bridge. The best part I like about is the walk trail and the beautiful view of ocean, bridge and island. You can just relax with the view. Again it's so awesome....
Easy to navigate your flights not necessarily your car though! Great little coffee shop in the international terminal! Also has this neat cat art exhibit during my visit. Easy access to Bart!!! Never loose your luggage!
Parking was somewhat a hassle because there’s no signs to direct the visitors. The small shops (coffee and gift) right by the bridge close early so we were unable to purchase anything there. Also, you may get a ticket passing through the bridge so just be mindful if you’re driving or on foot. However, it’s a spectacular experience and beautiful view.
