Delicious south Indian and north Indian food. food lovers must visit one time. good staff, good service and hygiene place. well ambiance maintained. visited for party last week, authentic south Indian meals served
serves both north and south Indian cuisine। I ordered spicy paneer, and it had the right amount of spice I expected, and it was good in general। Filter coffee was reasonable।
The atmosphere is pleasant, and I like how they've emphasized small details for a South Indian theme— Kolam on tissue paper was adorable।
The cheese butter garlic kulcha was a top notch served with kaju mutter masala. It was very amazing as compared to its budget and feel. Calm and composed ambience.
They have truly mastered the art of serving a delightful South Indian style authentic thali in a Banana Leaf. From the moment you step into their restaurant, you are greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere. The meal itself is a feast for the senses, with an wide variety of mouthwatering dishes that satisfied all my cravings. Sri Krishna Restaurant has truly set the bar high when it comes to offering an authentic and delicious dining experience.
Would be visiting again for their hi-tea which looks like a very good deal.
Decent Breakfast buffet.Average food, Filter coffee was one of the worst I have had, was served Luke warm. A south indian cafe with bad filter coffee is a no no
A good place to dine esp. North Indian cuisine. Flavors satiate hunger pangs and are of mediocre quality.
We ordered reshmi chicken kebab, fish tikka and peshawari boneless meat curry with roti.
The chicken kebab was the best of the lot, soft and delicious. Fish was not of the best quality and was ok. The peshawari was ok but flavors were missing. And the meat was a bit rubbery.
Liked the jaljeera.
A recommendation..they keep chutney bottles that diners can use. It's not a good practice as earlier diners may not use the most hygienic practices. It's best to serve diners fresh chutney and dips with each meal.

Food and service were good. As appetizers we had the lamb Seekhan. Had the butter chicken and Dal Makhni as main dishes. They had subtle flavors. Halwa as desert could be shared by 3 people. Nice ambience which was slightly ruined by the rock music

Was at The Ghatkopar R City Mall for some chilling time with my friend. We were really hungry and saw this outlet here and felt we should have a bite here. And what an experience it was! We did not regret going there. The food was full of rich taste with great service, amazing ambiance and one of the friendliest staff. Each dish was worth our time and we recommend it to everyone who wants to have a great restaurant experience if they are at this R City Mall.
The food quality is very very average, the decor is 20years old
Very poor service
The place looks dead
Think before you go,the only usp it's a vegetarian restaurant

Visited this place yesterday. It was good to try their chicken kebab platter along with Tandoori chicken in starters. Must mention the taste of their butter chicken kulcha, which gave authentic taste

For main course we chose Kullhad mutton and rice which was again a great combo
Located near nanavati hospital.
The food is good along with decent ambiance . They said they have the same interiors since the last 35yrs.

We had garlic naan , paneer tikka masala and chaas
Garlic naan- 4/5
Paneer tikka masala- 5/5
Chaas-4/5

Actually we ordered chaas 2 times
First time it was great, i dont know second time what they did. It was totally blant.

They have a complementary chutney which is made of spring onion and garlic that was too good. That was the highlight of our luch....
Serves a variety of South Indian cuisine, north Indian as well. I ordered paneer (spicy) and it was the right amount of spice I expected, overall it was good. The filter coffee was decent.
The ambience is pleasant, I like how they've given importance to small details for a South Indian theme - The Kolam on the tissue paper was cute.
Second visit is likely, and I would like to try some from the south Indian varieties.
This is our go-to place whenever we are in RCity Mall. Great Ambience with light music and quick service. We had ordered:
1. Blue Lagoon LIIT - 5/5 (Must Try)
2. Dahi Kebab - 5/5
3. Crispy Corn - 4/5
4. Chole Bhature - 4/5
5. Hara Bhara Kebab - 5/5

Use Swiggy Dineout for additional off on DineIn orders. Highly recommended.
A simple and pockey friendly restuarant near our office.. Their services are pretty quick and have homely ambience..
Must have south Indian food, Pav bhaji (even Jain Pav bhaji taste good).

They have non Ac as well Ac seatings.. Avoid going in prime lunch time as there is always waiting..

Taste- 3.5/5
Value for Money - 5/5
Services - 5/5

Veg only Restaurant. Located at Kamala Mills,Lower Parel. You can travel via Lower Parel or Prabhadevi.

Must try is Kulhad ki Malai Lassi. Also highly recommended Chole Kulcha.
Ambience is nice, service is good, veg dum biryani was delicious must try, in starters papad roll and paneer saatay were tasty, didn't like chilly milly kabab though it ws not cooked properly...giving 4 stars as I enjoyed my dinner in grasshopper...good option for vegetarians👍
Everything good about this place except for the portion size. Going by the photos I've posted showing my daughter's and my hands on the serving bowls for reference, you'll see how less the portion is.
The ambience is good, the music too, the service is quick and professional, the food taste is genuine and awesome.
As I said, everything is good about this place except for the portion size.
Horrible taste of the food. The Kadhai Kadhai Paneer was absolutely bland in taste, and different from the usual appearance and taste. We had no option but to order for another dish and that too tasted exactly the same except for the addition of red colour in the same gravy.

The person who took the order was rude.

Absolutely fake reviews for sure!
Food was amazing we had the Brahmin thali which gives you unlimited serving
2 sabzi
Papad
Pickle
Chaas (yum)
Fried Wada
Fried chillie
Banana
Chatni and podi
Porotta
Brown and white rice

The food is sooo yummy and fresh ! Its a pure vegetarian restaurant with a very nice and cozy ambience. We tried manchurian, aloo tikka subzi and veg kadhai with assorted rotis. Everything tasted good. If you're in vile parle area , it's a must try

It's as the best south Indian foods and beverages the prices are reasonable and food are affordable one, I enjoyed with my friends it's near to metro station, special facts is that south dish foods are really tastes good.
The food is okay, a bit on the costlier side.
South and north indian food is available.
There is no dedicated parking, but you can park near the circle on main road.

Most tasteless hotel & disgusting staff i have ever met. Faltu food with ultra extra expensive prices. Street food in Parel is much much better than this hotel in terms of taste & service.
I have ordered Chinese thali. Do not try worst tasteless. Rice is ok ok but Noddles and soup was not good.... Very bad experience
I have been dining here frequently and never been disappointed with either food or service. It is a good place to hang out and catch up over drinks.

It used to be a very famous place ik mumbai earlier but now gives u a feel of the 70’S restaurant with its old world interiors and even the food.
They counts even make jeera aloo properly and the veg hariyali was just average.
The hot and sour soup and the Palak soup are definitely not worth having here. U can try pav bhaji and other stuff.
If u are leaving from movie max in Sion then this is the only place nearby in Sion circle and then it’s ok, but would not recommend going here specially to have food. Try new and upcoming restaurants with fresh taste rather.
The food was wonderful. I liked the salmon nigiri and my friends were racing over the veg kebab platter. The drinks were good as well. The staff is polite and efficient and masked at all times. I wish they also gave us sealed glasses to increase our sense of safety. The inside bar wall makes for a good photo opp. Worth a visit

Good Food, Great Service good place in the hustle of the city
Urban Tadka’s food taste is deteriorating day by day. They used to be the best restaurant for Indian food with amazing jalebi-rabri until few years back.. I have had some lip-smacking food in their Sakinaka and Phoenix Marketcity restaurants.

The restaurant in Rcity mall was just okay.

Food Taste - 3/5
Portion size - 5/5 starters portion size was decent to be shared with 3-4 people
Ambiance - 4/5 (had mosquitoes)

Our server Madhav was nice and cordial even with a large group of people. He was kind enough to offer a pastry to celebrate one of our colleagues birthday. (Though the pastry wasn’t fresh and tasted duh)

definitely not having the jalebi-rabri here if I come back again.

Avoid the coconut and pineapple mocktails.

Excellent food decent service but a little expensive for the kind of place. Wouldn't say full value for money
Had an amazing lunch today at Urban Tadka! My this visit was better than the last one only because of today's main course "Murgh Saagwala", chef deserves a compliment for that!
Also, service was good despite of full capacity crowd present today being weekend ...special thanks to Suchitra for making sure our table was well served!!
Wow what a place, chaap is the dish you must try. Had pure veg lunch and highly processed impressed by quality of food and service. Had the best dal makhni and kulch in Mumbai

Fine dine place near Sion circle. There are two restaurants, one serves pure veg, the other serves both veg and non-veg. Stopped to grab a quick bite there before boarding train from Dadar. Murg Kothmir Tikka was very tasty, the chicken was tender and flavourful. Onion chicken was also very good. Pesto pasta was also nice. The service is good and ambience is beautiful. Prices are on the higher side but worth the taste, especially for chicken. Parking is a problem as the lane is narrow. Definitely recommended to visit.
Keep visiting this place often. Among the few outlets for a good grub. Especially non vegetarian food.
Have a good scheme for happy hour on drinks. Today the food we ordered was good except for the garlic naan, which was chewy and rubbery, rest paneer, mutton, prawns were good. Over all a good joint to visit with family, peak time wait times are as high as 60 days plan a visit. Don’t miss out the dhol!

One of the few pure vegetarian restaurants in Rcity mall. Oye Kake serves delicious Punjabi food. The variety of lassi they have on their menu is worth trying and you will not regret it.
We usually have jain food which never disappoints.
It is definitely a place you can come back again.

Update #1
As it was Saturday it took 30 minutes to get the table.

Ambience 4/5
Location and ambience wise it is decent.
It's a transparent kitchen which depicts the hygiene. Good.
Chairs can be more comfortable. Improvement required.

Food 5/5
Onions were cut fresh. Lovely.
Tried veg Kofta gravy which were soft and balance flavoured.

Quantity was ok for 3, less for 4.

Chur chur paratha was well prepared.

If you want to have the Jeera rice, this is the place to go to. Precisely cooked rice. With right blending of jeera, couriender and ghee, it is the best I had.

Dal tadka was mild and blending well with rice.

Kulfi falooda was decent.

Cost wise it is pretty high comes in premium range.

Recommended.
A simple restaurant with good food, warm service and homely comfortable environment. Their south India food is really good, of which we enjoyed the idlis, masala dosa & spiced butter milk. Since it was almost end of day, the filter coffee decoction was out of stock and hence we couldn't try the filter coffee. In addition we also ordered Pav bhaji which was tasty and a veg clear soup, which took some time to come, but was worth the wait considering the freshness of the soup. The server was courteous to us, comforting to our little one and quick with service. Overall we were happy with our meal and may visit once again when we are around this area

Alright this the veggie one, which I often visit. You are always welcomed by this sweet uncle on the gate who always smiles. The food is good especially the south Indian food. Even Punjabi food is nice chef special Tiranga was nice. My personal favorite here is chats, I am never disappointed with basket chat, though first time I ate it, it was 40 and then 80, 120 and now 160, it's not pocket friendly anymore to eat it here but taste is good.

Located on the 3rd floor of the mall adjacent to the food court. The lighting inside the restaurant provides a warm effect. The food is standardised and taste similar to any chain they have across the country. We enjoyed the food as it was indeed delicious

The staff was very warm and made us comfortable. The service was smooth and overall it was a good experience. Expect a waiting time on weekends

We ordered Starters -Bombay duck fry, Crab butter pepper garlic, Surmai tawa fry, Prawn chilly green pepper & I highly recommend crab butter pepper garlic and prawn chilly green pepper. Main course must try Prawns gassi, Rawas vijaywada curry & Appam. The Sol kadi was perfect not too bitter & too sweet. The ambiance is good and the service is superb. An amazing experience of eating here... seafood..ahh just loved it!...but the quality N quantity will leave u with no regret..trust me.

Ambience is good, service as well. But the restaurant is very expensive and quantity is very very less, food was average to above average, hence disappointed. Chaap here is tasty no doubt.
This place is an absolute gem in terms of their food and quick service. Not fancy at all but the food is something to visit.
Don't miss their fish Thali and do order it with Neer dosa in it. For 400 bucks it is a perfect treat.

Taste wise they have degraded. Earlier it was very
delicious but now just average taste. Not upto the
prices.
We ordered goli kabab, chole bhature, aloo kulcha,
falooda and Naan,
Falooda was delicious but other items were just
average .(Highly priced for such taste).
Also ,around 10 pm they are in so much hurry to
close that you can expect bad service around that time.
They even forgot to give us finger bowls and mouth
freshner.

Food quality is good but price is on higher side comparing the overall quality. Place is small hence not recommended for large groups. Staff is polite and hospitable.

Manager/Owner is rude. We asked for some discount as our total bill value was 9000. He denied giving any discount and also is quite hesitant to accept card for payment.

Ambience and service is good. For drinks do try their Masala shikanji, we loved it 🤤
Presentation for Kulcha was really appealing but we didn’t fall in love with the taste. Not gonna order again. For main course we ordered bhindi laccha paratha and daal, taste was ok ok, nothing to dislike but nothing special as well. You can order masala papad here if you like light starter 😋😋
We went here for lunch a few of my colleagues tried pav bhaji and a few of us had proper lunch ordering kaju masala, paneer handi, roti chapati and dal Khichdi. The food quality is awesome however a lot of improvements required. The pav with pavbhaji were not hot as required.
We went here for lunch on Sunday. Food was excellent. This is all vegetarian restaurant. They cater for Jain food here. The service was very good. I would recommend this for good food.

We visited this place for my dad’s 50th birthday celebration. We ordered manchow soup and guess what the restaurant served us fried cockroaches with the soup. When we called the manager and complained they started arguing with us and dint want to agree. They tried to take the plates away so that we don’t complain. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. The manager even joked about the dish saying " Fry hogaya hai yeh cockroach". We are pure Jains and vegetarians and this is what we had to go through. The staff was so disappointing just like the food and service.
Never ever visiting this place ever again.
This was my second time visiting this restaurant. We ordered Manchurian dry which was too salty as well as the Veg Kofta curry we ordered was not too tasty and koftas were too doughy. In spite of complaining about this to the waiter he took it lightly , the second time we complained he said he would call his Captain , but he didn't come . At the time of billing we raised the same point again then too no answer. This is not what we expect from the service after spending 2000 bucks. Will definitely not prefer this restaurant again in the future.
Great place for 100% Veg North Indian / Punjabi food in Mumbai. Consistent fresh taste and flavours on point. Best Kulchas I've had in the city (they are famous for this amritsari kulcha) and love the lasooni chaap! Nice decor and friendly service too. Would definitely come back with a group of friends or family or colleagues for office lunch in Lower Parel.
This restaurant has an amazing ambience and delicious food. We enjoyed dining in here.
We tried Bun Tikki for starters which was relishing. Then we had a Mix Veg Paratha which came with curd and Dal Makhani. We also ordered Paneer Makhani and Butter Roti.
The food was relishing. Overall it was a good experience with cheerful staff, good ambience and delicious food.
Oye Kake has become one of my favourites recently. The food served here is always satisfying and relishing.
We had Masala Papad, paneer Makhani and Naanizza. The Naanizza was filled with a topping of paneer and a North Indian flavour. Also, the Tava Paratha was served hot and fresh. I have always liked dining at this place.

I had nice experience in this restaurant. Food was amazing. Nice ambience. Little bit expensive than average. Service was also good. Variety of menu is available. This restaurant serves both veg and non - veg food. There is restaurant next to this 'Peninsula - NXT ' which is pure veg. Must try.
One of the oldest vegetarian restaurants in Mumbai. Its very packed on weekends so make sure you go early. Good choice of Indian and Chinese food. They serve alcohol. Parking is a bit difficult to find. Place is not very big but quick service and amazing food.

Liked this place for dine in too much. A subtle and composed quite place to have any meal of the day. We had gone there for lunch. I must say guys food is really tasty like we don't expect Pani puri at a restaurant to be delicious but we ordered and it was v tasty that we ordered another one too. Quality and quantity of food, i would rate it as average. Like not small for sure.
Service was okaish.
Ordered for Pani puri, tandoori butta patty for starter veg kolhapuri paneer kulcha and one butter tandoori roti.
It was amazing.
Must try this place also loved the name kinda attracts the customers to walk in
They have started a new concept of unlimite Bhramin thali, which we had. Food is really good. Ambience is fantastic
One of the best surmai fry one can get is here. The surmai thali is a must have! It costs 410/- in AC room. The quality of food is very nice. The fish is crisp and very fresh.

They even serve Chicken sukka, prawns and mutton thali’s. This place is decently big and has both AC and Non Ac option.

Its a bit moderately priced place. But i definitely feel that the prices are justified. I would strongly recommend this place for their fish fry especially surmai and prawns.

The place is located right at Parel TT and one can even simply walk from Parel station also.

I would rate this place 8/10!

We tried their Veg Cheese Grilled Sandwich and Cold Coffee.
The sandwich was to die for!! It so was good! Three layered bread with vegetables and cheese loaded stuffing. It was worth the price.
Cold coffee was okay-ish but I liked the presentation.
Would definitely visit Status again to try their other dishes.

I went to Oye Kake for dinner yesterday and had a wonderful time. Mumbai's authentic Amritsari cuisine. Every single item we tried was delicious.
Coming to the F&B, we ordered
Papdi paneer cheese shots were wonderful. In a shot glass, six deep-fried sticks with paneer and cheese stuffing. The addition of sesame seeds to the ends of each stick enhanced the flavour.
Malai Chaap - For those who enjoy chaap, this might be a real treat. Chaap that has been tandoored and tossed in malai. The green chutney that was served with it complimented it perfectly. Menu item that comes highly recommended.
Dai Papadi Chaat Is the ideal blend of dahi, chutney and papdi. The flavor was fantastic.
Paneer Tandoori Paratha - stuffed with paneer and tandoored. served with dal makhani and curd. Tastes fantastic.
Six distinct flavored lassis served in cutting chai glasses. I enjoyed them all, whether they were mango, kesar, dry fruit, chocolate, coffee or classic plain. I've never encountered this kind of flavor diversity in lassi before. I adored all of them.
Jalebi Rabdi - To finish our dinner, we had crispy sweet jalebi served with rabdi. Served hot and delicious.
The service was swift, and the staff was pleasant. Overall, a wonderful experience. I will definitely return.

It was time to visit one of our most favourite brand when it comes to Amritsari Cuisine .

This time we visited their outlet at Kamla Mills. As expected the food was exactly of same style and quality the way they serve it in their Fort Branch.

Let's take you on our food ride out here.

Appetizers :

Choley Samosa Chaat :
A must try for all you chaat lovers out there. A perfect mix of all ingredients giving a classic touch to the dish .

Whenever out here we always start with our most favourite Delicacy and that is Tandoori Melting Mushroom which by far is the best Delicacy of the brand and a heavenly delight for all Mushroom lovers out there .

In Mains we went for their .
Three Cheese Kulcha and Mix Vegetable Paratha which comes with Black Daal , Choley and Curd .

We even savoured their house speciality called Veg Khasiyat. The best part of this dish is that it has a mix of two flavourful gravies in one .

Their Kulhad Lassi is a perfect accompaniment to the above meals

Dessert :

Again a house speciality and it is their fresh hand churned ice cream this time . We went for mango flavour as it is in season right now .

Overall a scrumptious and wholesome food Experience and will definitely visit our favourite Brand again.

Thanks for reading our review .

Happy and Safe Fooding until next time...

Few months back we had visited oye kake ghatkopar outlet and we had totally loved it hence we thought of giving this one a try and lower parel branch too made way to our heart.
Oye kake is probably one of the best restaurant out there serving finest quality pure veg food.
Talking about the ambience it's quiet pretty and looks elegant. The best part here which I love the most is the serving plates and other few elements which uplifts your dining experience.
Coming to the f&b part, in drinks we tried their mango Milkshake from Mango menu. It was super thick and yum! Also tried dry fruit lassi which is their best seller and superb! In appetizers we tried lasooni soya chaap which was the best dish of our entire meal and we would strongly recommend. Also tried Mirch Lasooni Paneer Tikka which was on a slightly spicier side but the smokey presentation and flavor of live charcoal is pure delight. They had pretty good options in chaat hence we decided to order one. Samosa chole is what we ordered and it was quiet filling and tasty. It had all the elements you can ask in a perfect amritsari chaat. For the main course we ordered for veg tiranga which is basically half portion paneer gravy and half portion matar gravy. Overall the dish is quiet creamy and tasted fab with naan and laccha paratha alongside. Lastly we ordered for Amritsari pulao which had lots of beans and veggies to it. It was tasty and had fresh flavors and aroma of ground spices too. For the dessert we tried the Mango and cream (again from their mango menu) it had few pieces of fresh mango topped over mango fresh cream which was chilled and made to perfection. Loved it. Oye kake is definitely one of the best places you can think of when it comes to amazing food and hospitality.

Ordered mutton thali@320/-.

It was having one mutton sukka ( 60%masala coconut+20%mutton bones+20%mutton), one curry@bland, one veg subji(don't know why it was there in mutton thali), one solkadi@bland. Rice was also cold and hard.

Overall a waste of money -quantity and taste wise.

What u see in photo is masala coconut of mutton sukka.

They don't hv jwari/bajri Bhakri.
Well ….there are two restaurants of peninsula located next to each other ….they have a separate restaurant which serves only vegetarian food ….they are known for their North Indian food….they do serve other cuisines too…we had Mexican rice with exotic veggies, Mexican soup and garlic cheese bread…the food was good

Well we had some tomato soup served with Bread Butter which was good.

Also we tried CHImichangas which was a Mexican appetiser. It was basically a roll stuffed with a filling of cheese and cauliflower. It was served with cheese, salsa and Mexican sauce.

Also the paneer lababdar was relishing. We had some momos which were served fresh and hot. The presentation of food was fantastic. We loved the steamed momos.
This place is pure vegetarian but they serve alcohol at the same time so this make this place bit smelly of alcohol.🥃🥃
This place is costly and service is very slow.
staff are courteous but they need to improve their service.
Bottle of 20 r/s they charge approx 50 rs this shows how much they cost.(not sure i lost the bill)

I had aloo pratha . it comes in 4 pieces served with pickle and chatni . i take too long time to get prepared.

man chow soup it wass good to taste.❤️

Panner butter masala with butter roti which was good.❤️❤️

ambience have dimmer light.

A nice pure veg restaurant for dining. Loved the food, vibe and ambience. It's perfect family and friends restaurant.
We tried:
Veg Hakka Noddles
Spring Roll Dosa
Hyderabadi Biriyani
This has been one of my favourite local restaurants. It offers delicipus food. All the dishes served here are equally good. They are also known for their variety of Dosas. Also, I love the appetiser corn bon bon here. It is a mix of crunchy corn with a variety of sauces. Also the staff os good here and the service is prompt. They also had a valet service to park your car.

Well we had relishing Masala Pav and Spring Dosa during our visit. Both the dishes were served piping hot filled with veggies.

Good food but prices are high as compare to the service given. It's a local restaurant I would recommend to try pav bhaji. The staff is very rude. Service quality poor. We ordered pav bhaji and dosa, dosa was okayish but pav bhaji was very yummy. The staff really needs to learn how to be polite with the customers, and let alone 3-4 dishes we hardly managed to order a starter and a main course dish, the waiter rudely denied for desserts being available.
Before being food bloggers, we are customers and we were really disappointed with the service we recieved.

Status Pure Veg Restaurant is located in Sion and it is accurately available on Google Maps hence easy to find.

This restaurant is continuing its legacy from last 25 years hence it is pretty famous around so you can expect long waiting time here.

The restaurant is decent in size with indoor and outdoor seatings available.the outdoor section have steel tables and chairs and the inner section have sofa seating and have AC as well.

This is a vegetarian restaurant and they specialise in North Indian and Chinese cuisine. The menu is huge with a lot to choose from. Prices are not too high and the quantity served is satisfying.

I went here for dinner and the service was fine. Special thanks to Staff Sarwan who took care of our table.

What We Had -
APPETIZERS~
Sabzi Seekh -
Mix vegetable seekh with nice tandoor texture tasted great. Loved the generous amount of vegetables used and salad given on the side. It had nice amount of green chillies used and had some chaat masala used as well to enhance the taste.

Paneer Crispy -
Looked great and tasted brilliant. Fresh paneer tossed in sweet spicy sauce tasted delicious. Loved the sauce as it was flavourful and adding sesame for the crunch was great.

MAINS~
Schezwan Fried Rice -
Simple yet tasty. Rice, veggies made in light spicy schezwan sauce tasted perfect.

DRINKS~
Fresh Lime Soda -
A great drink made to ease up the digestion process.

So the meal at Status was satisfying as the service was on time and food tasted great. Therefore do visit this place.

Have tried this restaurant 2 times. Once my aunty was admitted to KEM hospital that time had dining experience it was awesome. Fish Thali was just bon appetit. The 2nd time recently i visited over here and ordered veg shezawan fried rice, it costed me 180rs. I think it was alot for a normal veg rice and the quantity too was not upto the mark.
