Top Public swimming pools in New York, United States

I swim laps there, take an exercise class, and belong to the gym. It costs $1 for a senior swim ($2 adults, $1 kids ages 5 to 15 and free under 5), $3 to register for free classes, and $63 for 3 months of a gym membership. Great place! Great prices!!

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this swimming pool. The facility itself is quite small, with a cramped area for kids that forces parents out every time they need to assist their children. The policy of not allowing strollers is a major inconvenience, especially for parents with toddlers who are left vulnerable outside. The staff's demeanor is far from welcoming; they seem to have an attitude and lack friendliness.

The locker rooms are in dire need of an update – old and with rusty lockers that emit an unpleasant odor of bleach. The overall cleanliness of the place leaves much to be desired, and the presence of cracks in the floor poses a serious safety hazard for children's toes.

All in all, I cannot recommend this swimming pool to anyone. The combination of a cramped space, unwelcoming staff, outdated facilities, and potential safety risks make it an unfortunate choice for a day of recreation.

Pool is very clean and spacious. Not big big but good enough. You. Can sit on the edge or you. Can tan on. The grass. Staff right there checking for safety. This is my go to pool from now on it used to be Staten Island but this is it now.

There isn't a safe and secure area for strollers. All strollers have to be left outside of the pool center. Staff are not friendly and are unapproachable. The pool is very small, and can feel crowded quickly.

Loved it ! I haven’t been here in years and forgot how many things it had like a playground & sprinklers and then a pool and carousel 🎠! We had fun on everything and spent less than 6$

A neighborhood staple! Some of the staff have been working there for about 13 years, it is good to see them each summer. The staff treats everyone with respect, even the rowdy impatient folks!

This is a great place. The indoor pool is good and they also have an out door pool. The changing area is clean so are the showers and toilets. My kids love it there. They do charge $2 for adults and $1 for children and you must have your own lock.

There was a lot of people around 3pm. Temp was 98 so it was expected. Clean.

Notice this program can help, people stride to better themselves. University Settlement has come a long way, from when my father worked for the U.S.
