This was our first karate class at our new location, come join us we have lots of room.
Had a great time with toddler and teenage kids at the pool, lazy river, slides. Clean pool and heated appropriately for the weather conditions.
As someone who cant find a public lap pool to work out anywhere near me I feel like sharing you cant use the lanes here without a membership. I work all over the city and allen was on my way to work today but not close to my home, so I wasted a lot of time coming here and wanted to warn anyone who wants to swim laps here who wouldnt want a membership.
Great place. However they were supposed to re-open again as of June 1st and it has been at this point 2 months behind schedule and now they have given up giving an expected open date for the pools again which is very frustrating for those like me paying monthly to not even be able to use the pools for 2 months further than what was promised.
It's a great facility and run efficiently. An amazing place for both summers as well as winters.
However, it becomes terribly hot and humid in summers being short of ventilation and inadequate air-conditioning.
lately, it's quite discomforting for Allen Residents as its closed for unspecified time with no timeline projected to reopen.

The price was good, and the pool wasn’t too crowded mid week. So we was able to find nice seating. I’m sure the weekend is busy for the price, and hard to find seating. They seemed to be fully staffed on lifeguards, we seen them rotating often. The bathrooms was way cleaner than most public places I’ve been. Only concerns I had was no bag check at check in, the exit gate isn’t monitored frequently, and teens letting friends in free, and some lifeguards aren’t paying attention, and allowing adults to vape, adults to throw balls around the pool, kids to run around. Over all not horrible place, just needs some updating.

This place is a joke. My daughters, husband and I went there yesterday. First, the older lady that works the window is very very rude. We live in Allen, but she still charged us the non resident cost, it was still cheap but it's the principle.
We got there at 4 and they close at 6. She did not tell us that at 5 they have swim lessons that almost take the whole pool. They made everyone get to one side of the pool, which was 2 ft deep and a small area as it's for the little ones. What are we supposed to do in 2 ft of water? Another lady had rented a cabana for 2 hours,4-6 for a birthday a d they had to move as well. So we went to leave and I asked one of the young girls at window why they don't tell people about the lessons. She said, ummmm well we don't give refunds. So we were charged the wrong price, and only got to swim for 1 hour. Complete rip off, everyone they do that to, is a win win for them in getting the extra money, knowing you will be forced to leave or sit in 2 ft of water. I don’t recently this place or will go back.

Inexpensive swimming pool, good for families with small kids. No family shower room though.

Pool plaster is not the cleanest. Swim classes offered by the city of Allen provide some instruction and correction that drive improvement, but the engagement from instructors vary widely.
Some are focused on providing coaching while others chitchat with each other as much as they pay attention to the kids.

Public pool, so reasonably priced but also potential for rough and rowdy middle schoolers or teen boys, making it difficult for parents with small kids. Pool closes 15min before actual closing time or even sooner if someone throws up or contaminates the pool which can take awhile to clean up. But large shallow section for kids with kiddie slides as well as big slide and lanes for serious swimmers.

Nice family friendly sly pool. Went there for swim classes. Restrooms could be better. Instructors are okay.

It’s a smaller family friendly pool. There is a lap pool which is deeper. A cool slide, tiny kid area. Also quite a few picnic tables. It doesn’t matter what day you go, it doesn’t get very busy.
Well organised competition pool with perfect temperature. Love the giant fan. Friendly life guards, good atmosphere. Other swimmers polite about lane sharing when busy. Great place. Decent gym facilities abd leisure pool for kids
love the pool one thing I don't like is you have to be over 16 to use the hot tub and there somewhat strict about that rule but it's a nice pool got a play area for children and an Olympic pool with lazy river and bigger water slide for bigger kids/adults there locker rooms are really nice
Indoor swimming pool is so nice as it’s too hot out! Enjoyed lazy river, kids area, and diving board.

Definitely a fun place to come and relax also let the kids play and there is different kinds of activities to do here for everyone from young to old. Tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, swimming, football field and soccer field.
We came before the Covid shutdown to a birthday party here and I don't remember it being so dirty.

I'm seriously shocked the city hasn't shut it down.

The lazy river is literally black from algae build up and all other areas are gross with algae build up starting or there already.

Considering the incident that just happened in Arlington you would think cleanliness, especially of a public pool, would be taken more seriously. We wanted to have a party here in a few months but definitely won't be back. This place needs a major clean up and probably testing of waters.
Great outing for a rainy/thunderstorm day. Kids 2 & under are free, so I just paid the $5 adult admission. For a 2 year old and 1 year old, this was a nice one hour outing (as we were swimming before dinner time since availability for free swim isn’t until 1pm/when my toddlers are napping). They have family restrooms and there’s a shower in them, which was helpful for changing into swim diapers before for the kids.

One star taken off for the one roach that fell from the air duct while we were in the lazy river (which actually had a decent current for us 3, as I’m navigating the toddlers in their puddle jumpers). I brought my own puddle jumpers, but noticed they have a bunch of life vests in various sizes near the kids area if your littles aren’t swimming yet.
This is an awesome location for a pool day with the family. We spent more than 3 hours here. The price was great as well. $4 per kid...

Really nice pool, especially for younger kids. Good water slide. Pavillions and deck chairs. Bathroom /changing areas for men, women and family. Plenty of grass area beyond deck for.... Would have been 5 stars if the renovation had kept the deep end.... now deepest is 6 ft.
