A very steep trail down, but one of the best walks and views in Australia

If there is only one hike you have time for/ one attraction to visit in the Springbrook National Park, I’d recommend this one.

It’s an absolutely beautiful walk with different terrain and also caves I have never seen before. When you get towards the end of the walk (closer to the falls), you can choose between two paths- one goes up and through caves, where you end up walking behind the waterfall, the other goes down and through the bush until it opens up to the waterfall. Both are good and you can choose one for the way in and one for the way out. I don’t know any other location where you can walk behind the actual falls!

Beautiful walk. It had just rained so the waterfalls were pumping. A tree had come down over the path in one section but that just added to the adventure of trying to navigate over/around it. It took us less than an hour to walk to the falls & back.

Twin Falls is a stunning destination that I highly recommend exploring when you're in the Gold Coast.

We completed the Twin Falls circuit starting from Tallanbana, which took us about two hours. The hike is relatively easy, featuring well-maintained paths and stairs throughout the trail.

We were captivated by the beautiful scenery and the vibrant birds we encountered along the way. For those seeking more of a challenge, there's another trail designed for experienced hikers that takes about six hours to complete.

Additionally, there are restrooms available just before you begin the trail, and parking is convenient at the Tallanbana entrance.

The place was BEAUTIFUL and amazing. The waterfall was a real beauty. And my kids loved climbing and jumping on the rocks. The low level takes 2 hours to return and the long one takes 6 hours.
Bring friends, It was amazing.

The best circuit trail for me by far. 14 km hike is fun and at the same time agonising for newbies like me.but overall , it’s worth the hike!

My favorite hiking spot in the Gold Coast hinterland offers two options: a quick 10-minute walk to the falls or a one-hour track. I highly recommend the longer track. You'll enjoy several stunning overlooks of the hinterland, a relaxing walk through the forest, and a more rewarding arrival at the waterfall. It can get quite busy here in the morning, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for a secluded area. There’s also a third walking track here that takes about 5 to 6 hours.

An absolute top spot for an outing on the Gold Coast. An easy walk suitable for all ages. Takes about 2 hours at a leisurely pace. Take your camera for some great photos. In winter, bring warm clothes as it is much cooler up at Springbrook.

Easy free parking near the look out
Can park near the visitor center
Short walk around 50m to the lookout
Peaceful and quiet
No public toilets around here so make sure you void your bladder before coming here

Visited during my vacation. A beautiful place where you can see the gold coast skyline from miles ahead. And hundred thousand of trees all the way. Amazing lookout on the way to main attractions.

Small Information center with leaflets and maps. Easy parking. This place is located in a one way traffic area but still you can enter the parking lot from the other way too. No washrooms here.

Open 24 hours.

Its a good lookout but literally no facilities. Keep that in mind, no nearby cafes, no proper place for picnic. A good place for hiking though

On a clear day the views here and the nearby walk trails are fabulous. Can be a touch crowded on weekends! Great waterfalls in the area too.

Beautiful views and very peaceful. Worth a stop although not much else to do our see other than the one vista. Beautiful nonetheless

5 star rating reflect an easy stop on the way to the attractions of Springbrook national Park. This is not a lookout you want to visit in its own right (it's very far from anything), but is worthwhile stopping as there is easy parking nearby

Easy access with parking directly across the road. No crowds.
Great place to watch the sunrise before doing one of the Springbrook hikes.

Wonderful lookout. Relatively short walks, with stairs, to view the Twin Falls.

Though walking the circuit may be challenging for any with mobility issues, or relatively low fitness. Allow sufficient time and pacing is recommended. Also is bringing a bottle of drinking water.

Swimming in the base of the southerly Rainbow Falls is doable.
