This was a lovely day out! We parked right outside the Maritime Museum and started our day there. It's a lovely little museum, run by enthusiastic volunteers who fave us a warm welcome. The waterfront is clean and well cared for and there are security people around to make sure it stays that way. They were also really nice - helpful and friendly. There are public restrooms across from the museum, which is helpful. We took a short harbour cruise - that was really nice and very interesting - We sailed close to USS Iowa which is berthed close to the museum. The Iowa is open to the public, but we didn't have time to visit.

Has great views and sights. It's a great place to walk your dog and watch cruise ships arrive from different parts of the coast . You also have 2 museums if you wish to visit and if you are ready for a Lil adventure you can pay a fee and take a ride in a boat. There's a free trolley 🚎 that will take you thru downtown San Pedro and down to cabrillo. (Please check service hrs). Before I forget the food you find there is good!

Cars and Stripes Forever was Outstanding. Awesome display of classic cars, great music, food and fireworks display.
The Waterfront renovations are going to be gorgeous. Love the lighting and water pools. Hopefully the "Dancing Water" displays will be back.

Overall, this was an excellent day out. The best $35 I've spent in a long time.

We didn't see whales on our trip, but we saw the most fun dolphins! There were a BUNCH of them.

The ones close to the boat were racing the boat (even a baby dolphin). The ones further away were jumping out of the water.

Although I didn't see a whale during this trip it was still a blast and I will definitely do this again.

Parking is nightmarish. Carve in extra time for that. There is a loooong line to get into the parking lot.

Where they could do better is organizing around the kiosk. Lots of confusion and milling around there. It should be easy, visible, and accessible for those who paid on line and just need a ticket. Or better yet, come into the 21st Century and have a QR code on the email confirmation that can be scanned at the dock.

Cleaner than when I lived in the area 8 years ago, and once all the construction is done I'm sure it will be even better. I do miss the old Ports O Call but progress is always better than stagnation.

Wasn't able to go on beach due to construction so didn't see much but surrounding beaches are beautiful. Only one sad thing is the litter that's brought in from the ocean waves. Did some pick up filled a big garbage bag full of plastic, fishing wire and plastic bottles. They have garbage cans everywhere and a garbage truck drives in and empties them. They have fire pits. If I only had time it would of been fun at nite.

Despite my low rating, I really adore this newly remodeled area. What makes me not like it is the old lady in white who gets there by 4:30pm and harasses others in the parking lot asking everyone if they're here to sell drugs! She even bothers the kids on skateboards and other seniors there to walk. I'm there to exercise and go home just like everyone else. Please make her stop.

The waterfront has lots to do but there is a lot of construction going on as well. Great way to go for a walk or a bike ride along the path.

The newly remodeled LA Waterfront is really nice! We went down there at Sunset and went for a walk and it was really nice walking along the water. Once it’s fully remodeled into West Harbor in 2023, it’s going to be amazing!
