Not much of a trail but a pretty sight and good birding

It's a nice sunset spot.

As a kayaking spot it's fair. Stay along the southern shore to avoid shallow water, especially at low tide. Beware of the current as you get near the narrow breechway. Fast enough to sweep a kayak out to open water.

Great little walk for my Littles! This is a walk, not a hike, it's less than half a mile out and back, but a lot of fun for my 4, 6, and 8 yr old. We looked for birds, bugs, and plants! Found a tree that reminded my 8yr old of the Womping Willow from HP which she though was so cool! The parking lot is small and not very visible from the road, but its a cool little walk, something different to do.

.3 miles round trip and only one path
Nice view of the pond at the end though
The turn into the parking lot is pretty bumpy

This driveway and parking lot needs some safety upgrades. A bike path would be great here to give pedestrians and bikers a chance to get off of Shore Road for a bit.

Great place for a nice hike or walk. There are several trails depending on how long you want to walk. Nothing to challenging and all paths are marked well. Along trails there are points with information boards. There is a great app that has maps of the park and more information. Definitely worth your time if you haven't been there yet.

86 acre Audubon preserve that is really just for wildlife. The parking lot is impossible to access unless you have a Hummer, and there is only a short trail that ends abruptly at a salt pond. Nice to know this place exists for wildlife, but if you want to hike the nearby Dr. John Champlin Glacier Park, Misquamicut Beach, Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge, or Burlingame Management Area are better options.
