Great place to come and relax or have a bbq. Parking is a bit tough. They have nice washrooms. Close to Coquitlam!

Sandy beach that is good for swimming. Our kids enjoy coming here. It was a gray day in June for my visit so no one swimming. Dogs are not permitted on the beach according to the bylaw sign, but one special man had his special dog on the beach. I guess they’re excluded?

A clean sandy beach in Port Moody just beside Old Orchard park. Bathroom accessible, picnic tables, seaside and family friendly.

The view was amazing! Can't imagine this is only a community park! Nice place for picnic or 20 minutes walk after dinner.

Excellent park with playground near by. There is a shaded area and picnic tables. Quiet and pleasant.

It's a beautiful scenic place.
We tried paddleboarding which was also nice...the water is calm and you have rentals for kayaks as well.
**The issues are that the water is not suitable for swimming...it's a very industrial area. You'll be in the middle of mudlands so there's a warning for quicksand as well in some areas. It's not beachy and it's hard to find a place to camp.

The park is beautiful and overall very scenic. The water sports not a big do do. But the ambience of the place is very calm and peaceful. It's a beautiful place for a good picnic.
