If you are looking for 'other' point of view of NYC and Statue of Liberty, this is the place.
Grat spot to relax and take some great pictures
Nice picnic area with trees that provide some shade. Several grilling stations for people to grill some food. Garbage bins were not overflowing and the Park house bathrooms were open and decent.
Pretty sure this is the closest you can get to the Statue of Liberty without a boat. Great park for picnics, exercising and the views
This location offers free and plentiful car parking spaces. It provides a stunning view of Lady Liberty and the Manhattan skyline. There are paved walkways that make it great for exercising or taking a relaxing stroll. The wide, open spaces are perfect for playing ball games, flying a kite, or simply laying out a towel and basking in the sun. There are plenty of benches along the boardwalk for sitting back and enjoying the panoramic view. Additionally, there is a nice playground for kids. Overall, it is an excellent place to spend a day out with family and friends.
Really awesome serene place. I met a great person here that was a local. First time ive seen lady liberty this close. Got a few pictures. Thank yall for having this place.
It is an amazing place, calm and good energy. perfect for bbq, games and fun with family or friends. It has a very large lot for parking. You must arrive by car, the bus is difficult to access. perfect for walking or playing sports with great vegetation.
Fantastic views of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and Staten Island from this lovely public space. Nice playground for little kids, too.
Black Tom island is very cool from a distance, I never actually set foot on it because the ferries were closed from the Jersey City side, but it was cool.
There was only one flag up in Flag Plaza, I assume because of the cold weather. Here are some pictures of the surrounding area, including the various statues and the view of Lady Liberty's behind.
Its always good to visit here. Fresh air great views and awesome spots for picture taking. Also a great walk.
Beautiful park to enjoy the evening with family. 13 American Flags displayed here, you can see with the Statue of Liberty in the background. Easy and free parking available. There are some picnic tables too. This place has great views of Lower Manhattan and Statue of Liberty With beautiful surroundings and NYC skylines.
Had a early morning visit! We truly enjoyed ourselves. The weather was perfect for a morning walk and as a homeschool mom we got some lessons in!
Free spacious carpark. Very nice place to chill out or picnic with family or friends. Good place for a stroll or cycling. Walk further toward the shoreline to have a unblock view of the famous statue of liberty.
Very serene, nice environment. Perfect for a family outing. Plenty of benches and tables, BBQ spots for a nice picnic. Perfect view for the Statue of Liberty 🗽 and lower Manhattan skyline.
While driving through Liberty State Park, we spotted Flag Plaza. Parking lot next to is was free of charge, and we had a walk to it. This place has great views of Lower Manhattan and Statue of Liberty. The statue reminding us of what happened in WW2 was also impressing.
This is THE place that i go to when i have free time. The walk besides the river is beautiful and there is a big parking space, good washroom and plenty of space to walk around and fish.
