Great atmosphere to view new and emerging artists
Great affordable gallery for the art 🎨 enthusiast whether you are starting a collection or adding to an existing body of works.
Irene who curates the Gallery is very well informed, friendly and helpful.
Lots of small works at incredibly realistic prices.

Small gallery packs a big punch. We visited during the city's Biennial art festival, and we found the exhibits better than the ones at the White Bay Power Station.
Exceptionally knowledgeable and hard working team. They really put in the effort to find the right piece for me and I would recommend to anybody looking for affordable artwork!
The UNSW Galleries are situated in the School of Art & Design on the Paddington campus of the University of South Wales. The art galleries are free to explore. There are two levels, both interconnected or accessible through two separate entrances, one on each level. The current exhibit is part of the 2024 Sydney Biennale, a wonderful collection of Australian and international art pieces. Once you're done with the galleries, make sure to tour the campus and the area around it.

This is near where I live and i really appreciate the value odds the recent exhibition (part of the Sydney Biennale). Moving, confronting, beautifully presented. I especially loved the four screen mining expose and the gold and blue walls. And the integration of aboriginal and white cultural history.
Reception staff were friendly and welcome. I felt absolutely allowed to go in.

Loft building for Biennale of Sydney 2024 , free entry and no food and drinks . Arts can not touch and view all those beautiful things, need to take sometime to understand show .
No toilet ,parking on street , best way is take bus 333 to paddington and walking there .

Great gallery show casing local and Australian artists works. Current exhibition "Foot Square" beautiful works at affordable prices.
I love this artist. I'm not qualified to criticise her work. I just can say that wathever she does impacts my heart. Visit this place, which is Iconic in Paddington.
We rented the Latrobe Art Space and it was the perfect venue for our Paddington Urban Art Exhibition. Gorgeous cottage with charm and character. Staff were very accomodating with bump in and out and made sure we had all the training required to hang our pieces. We utilised the back table for workshops with bathroom and kitchenette. The gallery’s proximity to restaurants & bottle shop meant our opening night was easily catered for.
The green space at the front of the gallery was perfect for our guests on opening night who were happy to have a few drinks under the frangipanni’s fairy lights - we also utilised the dry bar tables, and audio system.
I highly recommend this art gallery.
Thank you for a wonderful space! We will see you again this year.

Great exhibition during Sydney World Pride about The Party... covering Mardi Gras, Sleaze and everything in between! Really worth visiting

Very friendly and helpful owners. Showed them photos of my living room and they pointed me in the right direction for the best artwork to suit my living space. Looks amazing now a helped breathe new life into the room.
Very nice gallery. Best pieces we saw on the top floor - very nice scarfs made from eucalyptus in many different countries. And drawings of jewellery that looked better and more delicate than any original could look. Great place to spend some time when the weather does not invite to beaches or parks.
Beautiful gallery with a wonderful range of artworks. The curator was very helpful and friendly. Certainly worth visiting.
This is my favourite art gallery in Brisbane. I always enjoy browsing the gallery and I have attended several memorable opening night events.

Gorgeous gallery amongst the great spots Paddington has to offer. Artist and owner is extremely talented and the gallery an ever-changing kaleidoscope. Went to show opening there as well and it was a lovely experience to peruse the paintings with other art lovers. Great gifts as well and work by other local artists.
Such a fabulous art gallery to wander into, a real feast for the eyes. Something to appeal to locals & tourists alike. Lots of ideas for gifts too at various price points. You don't need to know anything about art to enjoy looking around & it feels like a very easy going, non-salesy environment.

Maybe you came to Oxford St Paddington for the retail therapy but the best remedy is art on prescription at the UNSW Galleries, city end of Paddington. Serene spaces, cool air and beautifully curated shows of contemporary artists.

Amazing boutique gallery with very well priced artwork. Very knowledgeable and friendly owners and staff. Fantastic opening evenings with live music and wine. Life drawing and other activities on offer at the gallery. Due to the rotation of exhibitions, there is always new and exciting pieces on show and for sale.
