Art gallery offering classes and local art. Some very impressive local art for sale and available at occasional auctions.

There is a concert series with the Kitt Moran Quartet appearing on April 11.

Plenty of parking and a very short walk from downtown Venice.
The place is shown very nicely, although it would have been even nicer to have heard a little of the performance of the singer and pianist.
My son, Milosz Gasior, a pianist, performed at the Venice Art Center with an award winning singer and violinist Maya Mazur (@soundsgood4you) during an event for philanthropists. The room has art on the walls, and a medium Baldwin piano (tuned) in the front left corner. The live music added so much beauty to the event. It was truly a special evening.
The staff was kind, professional, and helpful.
I highly recommend this place for a small event.
If you’re in the area and looking for something artsy to do/see it’s worth the 30-45 mins you’ll spend walking around and taking photos. Gonzalo is very nice and has a dope studio out back that is open for viewing. We stumbled upon this little excursion randomly day of, unaware of the actual price ($20 per person) and that you (maybe) needed an appointment but Cheri surcharged us $25 per person so that left a little sour taste. Don’t be like us and book ahead of time if you’re in the area and want to check this place out.
absolutely amazing. make sure you make a reservation through their website!
This house seems like it popped out of a fairy tale. It's a fascinating place. 30 years in the making and still going. The owners are really humble, lovely couples who will greet you with big smiles and love to engage with you. They make all the tiles there at the house. Must visit their kitchen/gift shop. Every where you turn to is great for photo. I love the tip by the owner to use the glass piece for an awesome photo. You have to talk to him on how. He might even take one for you
I enjoyed entrusting my son's artistic development to Mrs. Laura McElhinney during his participation in the Venice Art Center Summer camp. From the moment he joined her classes, it was evident that she possessed a genuine passion for art and a deep understanding of nurturing young artistic minds. Mrs. McElhinney's expertise in various art forms was awe-inspiring. In the Mix Media class, my son explored different creative techniques and discovered how to combine mediums for visually striking artworks. In the Mini Monet class, Mrs. McElhinney beautifully conveyed the essence of impressionism, inspiring her students to create their interpretations. She fostered a supportive and inclusive environment, providing individual attention and encouraging artistic growth. Her organizational skills and attention to detail ensured smooth classes, and her genuine interest in her students' well-being created a sense of community. I wholeheartedly recommend Mrs. McElhinney as an exceptional art teacher who profoundly impacted my son's artistic journey.

There is always a good place for art. Some events are from kids sowing their work with their family's .
Great 🎨 🖼 artists in Venice.
Perfect place for art and to have a coffee or lunch. They have a terrace and plants, where you can enjoy your meal. 😊
$20 admission for adult, kids are free, open till 3:00 pm on Saturday, not so much crowded and not must visit location ,only good if you are around
Wow! Gonzalo and Cheri have built an amazing place for all of us to enjoy. This is a must-see. They are so adorable.
Beautiful home that Cheri and Gonzalo worked on together. It's amazing how much art, time, and effort they put into making their home what it is today. There are so many little details in every corner that you could easily spend a couple hours just trying to go through it all. I'm glad to live close enough to be able to appreciate their work. Go check it out! Remember to reserve a time through their email, they are open most Saturdays.
Wonderful full of art a little cafe and all the Seahorses and Mermaids were there too
I just want to thank Cheri and Gonzalo for opening their doors to the world. They're beautiful human beings who create life into their home. Their love story is inspiring and their passion is seen through every little piece of art in their house. God bless you both and thank you for making our anniversary the best ever.
Today was my first time visiting Cheri and Gonzalo’s 28 year, and counting, labor of love and I’m glad I finally was able to see it up close. I have been driving by it for years so I was very pleased to learn they offer self guided tours of the grounds for $20. Cheri greeted us at the front gate and was very polite and informative. She gave us a rundown of the history of the property and specific things to look out for. It was also nice seeing their own works of art in the studios in the back of the house.

It’s definitely a unique location and worth the trip to see something that took so much time, effort, and love to create.
My wife, my 13yr old son and I stopped by the Venice Art Center today. We really enjoyed the new "Color My World" art exhibit. Also, the people working there were very nice and helpful.

HERE'S A TIP: Every few months they have an opening on Friday early evening (5pm?) for a new art show complete with free hors d'oeuvres and drinks plus delightful piano music. Don't miss it !
