Great staff, fabulous works by the artisans and it's all well layed out to view. Decidedly worth the visit and I will return.
My favorite art gallery! Free entry, beautiful space, and thought provoking exhibits. We are very lucky to have such an art gallery in Vancouver. Always looking forward to the next opening night!

The gallery was great
Installation artworks, especially mirrors, will take you deep into the heart of history...
The gallery manager treated the artists with sincerity and respect.
she was very lovely.
Definitely worth a visit.
This Gallery is a gem! Its stunning waterfront location offers breathtaking views that perfectly complement the diverse and thought-provoking exhibitions inside. The contemporary art showcased is both inspiring and engaging, and the gallery’s modern design creates a welcoming and dynamic atmosphere. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate, enhancing the overall experience. A must-visit for art lovers and anyone looking to enjoy a cultural outing in a beautiful setting. Five stars!
Beautiful space and fantastic exhibits. Surprisingly easy to get to from downtown- it is a few minutes walk from the sea bus.
Great gallery that's surprisingly big inside! Well curated work with a lot of detailed information available.
Pay by donation gallery.
Art activity for kids intermittently.
The current display can be very graphic and loud for children. Staff will advise, be aware.

A pleasant pay-what-you-can gallery. The space is beautiful, there’s a photo-booth, and lovely items in the gift shop. A great place to pop into if you’re in the area!
Great selection, great prices, great quality, very quick and efficient order processing including answering an inquiry about delivery costs, great delivery, received some great framed prints in two days after ordering. This one of those unicorns of the online retail space.

Found out there’re stairs to another level! And the entrance fee is by donation.
Close to gas station🍷
Very kind staff that patiently helped and waited on us while we browsed the entire gallery. Many affordable unique carvings and ceramic items. Loved our visit.
Having purchased a few pieces of art and other useful items over the years I can highly recommend the Canadian indigenous art. They stock a good range of art that is well priced and can be shipped anywhere in the world.
The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly
So much beautiful art from incredibly talented Indigenous artists !!

the main exhibition is closed but the shop was cool.
I was looking for a particular piece as a gift to help a dear friend through a family loss. Via phone and then later in person, both helped me find a perfect, beautiful carving complete with artist bio. Thank-you
Great atmosphere, quality works of art in a vibrant commercial area
Sarah was super helpful, she answered all my questions. Packages up the ceramic artwork by Stewart Jacobs, Squamish Nation artist! His work is timeless and detailed. Perfect for corporate gifting.
This is a really beautiful gallery in a beautiful location. Right in the Center of the Shipyards! It’s easy to get to by transit and surrounded by shops and restaurants. They also have their own gift shop that has a wide variety of items, mostly locally made.
The hall itself is quite small but it’s entry by donation which makes allows access to all. Definitely worth checking out.

Love this place. Spectacular setting. Saw the Leaving & Waving show a while back and got to chat with their photographer, Deanna Dikeman.

The As We Rise show was powerful and I love where the title comes from also.

Keep up the great shows.

This gallery is really small but I really enjoyed that. Entrance fee is by donation. There were 2-3 main photography exhibits and I loved them! The space is well-curated and we had a good time. Love the gift shop too :)
Oh. My. Gosh. I am so glad my partner and I happened to walk by the gallery and decide to come in. Staff were able to pull out several sketches and prints for us, on themes we were interested in. We were able to get a print that really spoke to me, while the staff was kind enough to provide us the background on the print as well as the artist. Packaging is robust. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Vancouver.
Very interesting exhibition and my personal experience at it.
First time visiting the polygon. I love the look of the space overall. Very pleasing to the eye. Lovvvvvve that there was a gallery showcasing black people!
I collect masks and I found a beautiful piece here. They shipped it to my home in the USA for free. Excellent service.
A great community art gallery with talks and exhibitions going on! They have a great art rental program and lots of other summer programs!
Lynn is very knowledgeable about the pieces & artist's. Her & her colleague were very helpful making sure the piece I chose was wrapped up carefully. Wonderful gallery & service!
Delightful team here, showcasing wonderful artists such as Melanie Ellery.
We went to see the "Beyond Horizons". It was beautifully set up and thought provoking!
Thank you to AFK and The Gordon Smith Gallery for supporting arts education in schools and in the community!
This is the best art gallery which supports local talented artists.
A hidden treasure and not to be missed. It is as much a museum as an art gallery! They have older, authentic pieces that you don't see in the more commercial galleries including ceramics and sculpture. The owner is so passionate, and has been supporting local artists for years.
It wasn't open when I was there but the outside is beautiful.
Griffin secured some unique and important artists. Exhibitions reflect important socio-political topics in a variety of media. A bit out of the way but worth the effort. Along side a restored Creek trail for contemplation after your viewing. Community supported. Free admission, too.
Beautiful prints and a great cause. We boughr an Alan Wood print and can't wait.to see it in our home.
Small, fun art exhibits. Admission is tip based. Relaxing place to visit for anyone in the area
For those who do not have the time to read the entire review, allow me to front-load the fact that Inuit Gallery of Vancouver exceeded my expectations on all levels. I most certainly recommend doing business with Melanie and her crew.

I was in the market for a small soapstone sculpture to ship to Montreal for my parents' wedding anniversary and, due to health concerns, could not make it in to the store to shop in-person. Still, I was extremely motivated to get a gift for my folks and only thanks to the attention and patience and superhuman efforts of the folks at Inuit Gallery of Vancouver did this become possible. The website makes accessible good quality images, dimensions, and prices of many of the works that are available for purchase. I had narrowed down my list to 4 or 5 pieces and I needed some guidance to identify the one piece that would ultimately be selected. Melanie answered questions about sculpture size, quality of the stone used, and even information about the region and the specific artist responsible for the piece. She did so with great patience and thoughtfulness. She seemed to understand my needs and wants and helped me to select a piece that absolutely delighted the recipients who already have a good-sized collection accumulated slowly over a great number of years.

Keep in mind that I did not have a large budget, yet despite my inability to afford a much larger piece, Melanie made me feel as if I was the most important client in her Rolodex. Man Alive, I love when that happens, and it takes a very special person to impart that sense of allegiance to another.

And of course, once we finally selected a particular work, it took me forever to figure out which method of payment I would use and still, Melanie did not flinch. And, after my interminable bank account gymnastics allowed me to finally complete the purchase, the team did not hesitate to send someone to the post office with the parcel to ensure that it would reach Montreal on time. WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW!

Thank you, Melanie, and Inuit Gallery of Vancouver, for making the impossible happen. I recognize that I was very high maintenance and that without your commitment to accommodating all of needs, I would not have been able to surprise members of my family with a piece of art that they will treasure for a long time. Rest up, you will need all of your energy again as I will certainly be calling on you again at the same time next year!

Beautiful place, i want to go here every week 👍
Beautiful place to visit if you love art. There are many helpful polite people working there.I also like the building and side walk besides it, so peaceful and lovely.
Great place to visit if you appreciate art. There are many exhibits, some temporary and some permanent. Easy to get to with transit and there's street parking. Check hours of operation before planning a visit. Must see place on the North shore.
This place is amazing. The staff is really friendly and it’s location is awesome. If you’re free on a sunny day then do make a visit at this gallery. It’s very interesting plus there are some breathtaking views outside this gallery.
A variety of indigenous art with prices for every budget. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. It's understandable this gallery has been in business for forty years.
Awesome space. Very welcoming, warm, and professional.
My family and I are satisfied customers of the Inuit gallery Vancouver. Not only have they bent over backwards to take care of us, they also work diligently with their artist to make sure their interests are taken care of as well. It's golden an our books when you see both artist and customer at the end of the day happy with the end result..
A beautiful, modern though quaint and welcoming gallery exhibiting quality art pieces at no cost for the community of the North Shore.
Offering art classes, art rental, gift box artisans and even a film series, CityScape Community ArtSpace does not disappoint!

Excellent small space for contemporary art. Great temporary exhibitions, as well as talks and performances. There's also a studio space for visiting artists.

Check what's on to see if it's a show you're interested in.

There are also panel discussions and other events that happen, to visit the website to look at the schedule.
Beautiful space, lovely and helpful staff. A hidden gem! I live in Vancouver and had never been until recently. Everyone should check out this gallery. You can just stroll in and have a look!
Beautiful art gallery with nice selection of local First Nations. Offer kids painting programs
A gem of a space. Surprisingly it was deserted on a wet Saturday. The attendant was very knowledgeable and friendly. When I visited there was a fantastic First Nations art exhibit.
