Gorgeous subterranean galleria with a series of rooms for different exhibits at the same time.

We visited the "Commonwealth Gallery" on a weekday evening and enjoyed some of the student work on display. At the time it was mostly projections and small installations. It is free and open to the public.

So if you're looking for a proper museum-going experience then this is not the place for you. The Museum of Bad Art is located inside the Dorchester Brewing Company and is less of a gallery and more of various terrible pieces hung up around the entire floor of the taproom (which, in my opinion, makes it more unserious, funny, and therefore, better).

I generally had a great time there looking around while getting drinks with my coworkers. The vibe is fun and vibrant. I think its a great place to check out as a conversation starter/casual activity while getting food and drinks.

Beautiful art, and wonderful staff. Came here with my girlfriend on a whim and ended up sticking around as 2 of the staff members educated us and showed us their favorite pieces and gave us a chance to really understand some of the pieces we were looking at. If you’ve got spare time, pop in, and if you’ve got spare cash give them some support, they’re pretty cool.

The Pucker Gallery is a hidden gem in Boston. It's packed full with some of the finest ceramics in the world alongside beautiful paintings and 3d art. The staff is friendly and welcoming to anyone who walks inside.
None of the art was there :(

Not sure if it was in the middle of switching when I went but yeah none of the art in the photos were at the park

Amazing place to view professional art. The ceramics areas are extensive and thought provoking. So much to see!
This is an uproariously funny museum thanks to both the unique art collection and the excellent write-ups about each piece. We had a fabulous time. The museum was formerly in Somerville and is now in a brewery in south Boston. The food and people in the brewery were great also.

Inside the Dorchester Brewing Company. It was very interesting seeing the artwork hanging around, even upstairs leading to the rooftop seating. It's free to go in and look. After your done, you can get something to eat at M&M BBQ right inside the place. Or grab a beer, right from the Dorchester Brewing Company bar. I did both. I'm not a beer drinking girl, but the Bartender helped me by offering a fruity beer. He gave me a sample, and it was very good. So I made it a slushy by adding the lemonade they had in the slush machine to the fruity beer. I was impressed!

I'm a told this is where the permanent installation of the MOBA artwork will be. About 2 dozen pieces on display at the brewery. Very interesting pieces with their own charm. Overall a pleasant experience and definitely recommended.
There are no longer any pieces of artwork here. Don’t waste your time.

AMAZING—Caroline gave a friend and I a tour of all the pieces and ceramics and we were blow away about how much she knew. The photos make the space seem small, but it’s actually a huge space with so many artist and works to look at. We easily spent two hours here. Just so amazing. I would love to come back and meet the artists, as I’ve been told they will occasionally pop in for showcases. If you’re ever in the area this is a good place to pop into.
Matthew, the gentleman who was working at the gallery that day was both delightful and knowledgeable. He projected a very welcome atmosphere and was courteous and answered all of the questions that I had. I will definitely be back again for another visit if the rest of your staff is this amazing.

A bit quirky. Fantastic and varied selection in this deceptively big gallery with a focus on ceramics. The opening for IPEK (she needs only one name] presented classy and clasic perfection in wheel and glaze work. Bravo!

This place has one of the most welcoming vibes I've felt in a long time.
Came for the bad art museum stayed for: good beer and wine, friendly but not overly friendly staff, Board games to play, skee ball, and BBQ. This is THE perfect date spot.
I had 4 drinks and a flight for 60 bucks including tip.
The ambiance of the room exudes an Ora of everyone enjoying their job, from the casual conversation to the art cards giving hilarious stories to follow along to, If I could rate it 6 stars I would.
I loved it. There's like 2 and 1/2 bars in there? I think the point is to get you numb enough to enjoy the bad art? Have you ever known someone who liked really cheesy horror movies? Or just movies that were so bad they were kinda funny? Well that's how this museum is. The descriptions are really what makes it; they're so funny. This photo was just 1 of my favs!
Artist run gallery shows work that makes you think.
Good stuff.

Shea Justice was very inspiring. Both as an artist and an educator.
Displays works of artists throughout the year. Currently in display are What makes a home, and Hopscotch - from several artists. The art itself is copyrighted by respective artist.
This is one of the best ceramics galleries in the world, museum quality work. They also have very high quality paintings and photographs. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about the art. They have webinars on most of their artists which provide great insight into the art and artists. Prices match the quality of the work. This is a gallery for collectors more than for impulse buys. For me it's like a free museum. There are new exhibitions about once a month, so there's always something new to justify repeat visits. They also give back to the community in various ways. Highest recommendation.
Loved it! A small and intimate gallery!

I was very happy this gallery was open during the pandemic. This gallery contains excellent and unique artworks and I highly recommend this place. I felt safe hanging around because it was not crowded and the staff were wearing masks.

Broomfield Gallery exhibits Emily Trehomns art at the moment. It is a lovely exhibition and I highly recommend checking it out. According to the artist's website she created her work outside in the woods. She is an amazing artist. Hope to see her again in the exhibit.
Little gallery with beautiful sculptures.

Go on the first Friday of the month for new art exhibits. Always very interesting.
Love walking along the Greenway! Especially in the summer, but it's fun and interesting year round.
You can go chill out during day. For lunch is fine with all food trucks. Usually there are a few nice big chairs . Just a good place to hang out pretty much whenever.
The area is so nice! Today was the first time I actually took time to walk the greenway and I loved it! It's a very easy walk, the art work changes, the gardens are gorgeous, and it's definitely family friendly. And who would have guessed you can find bunnies downtown!

Absolutely amazing - a large collection of fascinating artworks. Could spend a day in there. The staff were also very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the background of the artists, etc.
A must-visit gallery in Boston's SOWA district!!

My daughter came here sent by her college professor and were warned that these types of galleries are not inviting to students working on projects...we were confused why she thought it was a good idea to push students to enter a hostile environment for the projects she selected for them...well the anxiety was for nothing the lovely woman inside was the exact opposite as we were told she'd be and wasn't just interested in my daughter's project but her life in college now and possible upcoming assignments...there was beautiful things in this gallery to see but someone interested in my daughter's education and project was a beautiful unexpected gift I will remember from this beautiful gallery
Fantastic involved installations of terrific devoted local artists. The space supports large and immersive installations as well as collections of smaller pieces. They also have a library of previous catalogs that are fun to browse. Many great restaurants nearby to make an evening of it.

I stepped into the gallery and the staff so welcoming. My favorite aspect of the gallery was how contemporary the artwork was. The installation and the work itself was executed flawlessly. Any artist would be lucky to exhibit their work here.

Excellent work, this is a place to see art that is hard to find outside of New York City.
The gallery is on the smaller side, but I like that it showcases new artists every five weeks. The artist's reception (free to public) is the event to attend--not only is the artist present to explain his/her work, but there is food & wine! Also, the receptionist is very knowledgable and friendly (scored a few pamphlets).
