Great preview collection of different styles of Chihuly glass. Admission includes other exhibits and demonstrations. Great to support the local art community as well.

This is definitely a worthy museum. The artwork is very interesting. It’s smaller and a little pricier than others. I’m sure there are days that are offered at a discount.

Beautiful work, includes audio tour...take your own earbuds. It's less than an hour to view the entire collection with audio tour. Definitely worth a visit.
This was a great experience! The art exhibits were stunning. And I loved the movie room, where you get to learn about the artist himself and his story, as well as seeing all of the installations that he's done around the world.

This was definitely worth the price of admission and I would even consider going back on occasion.

If you are an admirer of Glass Art, especially works done by Dale Chihuly this is a must visit exhibit.

Paid Parking is available on the street and also in lots.

Plenty of Beautiful works are on display and a gift shop is also on premise.

Besides the Collection Building there is a Glass Works building across the street.*Check for days and times*
The pieces were set up beautifully and with the perfect lighting for each specific item. At the end of the collection is a small display showcasing other artists' pieces and then the store.
Included with the collection was a live demonstration through a glass studio across the street, I do not know if that was a special event or a usual occurrence.
I'm a huge Chihuly fan, and I am excited to be able to check this impressive collection off my bucket list!
The Chihuly Collection in Saint Petersburg, Florida, is a fantastic indoor activity, especially on those scorching hot days! The art pieces are absolutely stunning, and I even ended up buying a beautiful vase. The staff is friendly and welcoming. My only wish is that the exhibit were a bit larger to enjoy even more of the incredible artwork. Highly recommend visiting!
What an incredible collection! From top to bottom we enjoyed our experience at the Imagine Museum. I would say we spent 3 hours but could have been there for double the time had we not booked our day up with other engagements. We can’t wait to return. What a hidden gem 💎 a must see St. Pete Museum.
I love this museum and its guided audio tour of the various artists represented in each gallery. It contained primarily sculped and molded glass with very little blown glass. The artists represented, from around the world, are truly at the top of their game. The items for sale in their gift shop were varied and colorful. Interestingly enough, most of those items were blown glass and were not representative of the artists in the museum itself. This museum is a "must see" for anyone interested in contemporary art glass.
The Imagine Museum is so breath taking! I can't believe how many beautifully striking pieces of glass art are in this museum. There certainly is more than enough to see to make it worth the admission price. If you have less than 1.5-2 hours of time to go see it, I also think the evening hours are worth looking at, which is what my group decided to do. They have discounted admissions to go view the museum from 5-8 pm on certain days. It's so worth coming in, especially with the free parking in their parking lot, within a busy city!
Beautifully curated works of glass. It’s absolutely spectacular. So much beauty for the eyes to see and the soul to feel and experience. I’ve gone several times and each visit is different because I notice something new and it just puts a smile on your face. Take the whole family like we did and then go alone. I highly recommend.
My wife and I loved this unique museum. She is normally reluctant to visit museums where I love to spend hours, but she (and I) thoroughly enjoyed the exquisite beauty and impressive nature of the wide variety of glass sculpture and cast works. An amazing combination of creative art and intriguing physics and optics. The museum staff were friendly and enthusiastic and there was even a fun scavenger hunt. I highly recommend this art museum, you'll surely love it! Great for young toddlers on up, just be careful with the little ones not touching the works.
I can not express enough how beautiful I thought this Museum was with it's exhibits/art-pieces. There was truly an assortment of various types of glass-work art and it was incredible. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend visiting.
Gorgeous contemporary glass museum. A large collection with every piece being unique. I saw at least one Chihuly piece. Admission is only $5 after 5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Otherwise it’s only $15 for adults and $10-$13 for all others above age 6. They are only closed on Mondays.

Literally typing this up as we leave the parking lot after our group workshop! This was such an amazing experience, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun family trip or date night. The guys were so friendly and accommodating. My cousin and I did the glass blowing with David, who was just wonderful (and very patient with us)! He explained every step of the process as we went through them, which was pretty cool so we could understand exactly what we were doing and why. My Mom and Dad loved Josh who helped them with their wine glasses! Even though the shop is well ventilated it can get pretty hot when you’re next to the flame, so I recommend wearing something light. Josh offered us water bottles before we left, which was so kind and much appreciated! We will definitely be back and with some friends! Thank you guys for the experience! :)

Booked the glass blowing hotshop experience for the pint glasses on December 30th. Everyone was super nice and David was an absolute pleasure to learn from. He made the whole experience super easy and fun. I definitely recommend it. Went the next day to pickup our work and it turned out awesome!

Wow this was an awesome time, wasn’t sure what to expect but definitely am so glad we did this! Kerry our instructor was so great, she was funny, professional and so kind. We made Christmas ornaments that turned out beautiful. Thank you so much for showing us a wonderful time!

Very unique and FUN experience. Absolutely will be returning for even more fun! The artistry of the process and completed glass work must be experienced to be fully appreciated. Instructor (Dave) was very patient with this Newbie !!
We did a make your own ornament, and we had so much fun! I was a bit intimidated to blow glass, but the instructions provided were so easy. I actually now have "the bug" to learn more about glass blowing and to be more proficient in it! I love it!!
The staff was incredibly friendly. When you walk through the door, someone is always ready to assist you. The museum itself is quite fun. I just happened to be across the street when I wanted to check it out. The first floor has a treasure hunt game for you to enjoy while you browse. I like that they added both visuals and auditorial experiences. You can also get an audio tour. Each room presents a different dynamic. Some rooms are simply dazzling to the eye. It inspired me with my inner child's interior design aspirations. They have two floors. I really did love the art work. It is a treasure to have here in St Pete.
We recently started the pottery class, and happened to pass by this place, again, and went in.
There are many studios, some artists are there making their arts, some studios are empty. People are friendly and happy. They make and sell too. It's a very nice community.

Harry did a phenomenal demonstration of glass blowing. He is incredibly talented; amazing craftsmanship. The people in the shop....not so much. Chinese guy was extremely rude. I missed a good portion of our tour because he set my item aside and refused to hand it to me even thought it was paid for and I had my receipt. When he finally wrapped it up, I thought he was going to break it. Then the woman taking payment asked if I had a problem and that wrapping items takes time. She didn't realize that others after me had already had their item handed to them. I thought about buying additional items but, now, after that....nope. A solid 5 for Harry and the person working with him. Not so much for other staff.
Huge pottery center with 33 artists studios. Artists are incredibly talented, friendly and love to share their work and tell you how their clay pieces are made (pottery wheel, hand sculpted, Raku fired, different glazing techniques, etc). Lovely gift shop with lots of pottery and clay art sculptures for sale. Bright space and very welcoming. Offers an array of pottery classes. Participates in St. Petersburg Art Walk.

Did a date night here and made pipes with Austin. It was tons of fun! Austin holds great conversation and was very knowledgeable when it came to teaching us and answering all our questions. 10/10 experience.

I had my son's 9th birthday at Zen for a pendant workshop. Everyone walked away with a proud and unique piece displaying their art. Josh and Co. made it a day they won't forget! They were patient with the boys and made something new...extremely fun! I highly recommend Zen for a group event. My daughter can't wait to take her friends for pendant necklaces! A truly zen and friendly space!
Go anywhere else besides this hot mess of a clay studio. I tried calling twice to let them know my cat was very sick & I also had to work extra hours at my job but no one answered the phone. When I finally did reach someone a week later we argued over the phone about why I didn't leave a message.. I just wanted to finish my half done clay pot. Or get my $200 back. She just continues to argue with me about how she already paid the artist. I hung up on her after I said I won't recommend anyone to you. No compassion or sympathy. She seems miserable to me.
It is a lovely place to be!! Lyn, the owner is wondful and very helpful to the artists that do their work here. And also to visitors and or family members of the artist.!! You want to learn how to become a future artist in clay, pottery, ceramics, This Is The PLACE,!!

Visited Zen with the wife and kids….first time experience for all of us…and we had a great time. Austin and Alex were very friendly and helpful. No experience needed to have great time. Highly recommend
We did the date night class and it was the perfect alternative to our norm of dinner and drinks (although you can bring your own!).

Bella was our instructor and not only did she really know her stuff, she also had the patience of a saint. Someone please give this woman a raise!

This was a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere which helped because we were all newbies. A fun and different experience that I would highly recommend!!

My wife and I recently took a pottery class at Charlie Parker Pottery and we had a great time! The instructor, Bo, was very knowledgeable and patient, and he helped us learn the basics of pottery in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

We started the class by learning how to center the clay on the wheel. Once we had mastered that, we moved on to making bowls. We also learned how to decorate our pieces with glazes.

We were both surprised at how quickly we picked up the skills of pottery. By the end of the class, we had each made several pieces that we were proud of.

In addition to the instruction, we also enjoyed the atmosphere of the studio. It was a small, intimate space, and we felt like we were part of a community of people who were passionate about pottery.

We had a minor hiccup with registration at the beginning, but the studio was very responsive and helpful in resolving the issue. Overall, we had a great experience and we would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning pottery.

Nots of great glass pieces for sale. They also have glass working demonstrations at the top of the hours 1-4 PM (I'd recommend verifying). The show was about 30 minutes and was an interesting look at the process.
The owner Lyn is a really nasty person. They made nasty racist remarks and expect you to laugh. I stopped going and asked for a refund. She was antagonistic and wouldn’t let me speak. Refund to refund my $181. Out of a six weeks class I went the first day and never went back.I called several times at one point she hung up on me.
I was treated so poorly I thought Lyn couldn’t be human, it’s impossible.

Fast forward, asking her for my refund today .. same antics.

Can someone please help me get my money back any help is greatly and deeply appreciated.

I don’t recommend any one black visiting this place. There are other places that value you and treat you with respect.

Absolutely one of the best experiences of my life! Tim was a fabulous instructor, so thorough and patient. I had a blast! Thank you all for such a wonderful experience. I would recommend this to everyone.
This was the most fun I had with my adult daughter. Charlie and his staff were extremely friendly and hands on. During our first visit we both did two pieces and they came out great. Highly recommend this place if you're looking to do something that is fun and definitely different.
We went for my birthday, I've always wanted to attend a pottery class. Charlie himself is outstanding. He is very hands-on during the class, funny, and passionate about his craft and art. We made two bowls and he taught us every step of the way. it was really cool. Chelsea as well was very nice, helpful, and pleasant to talk to. We had 4 people in our group and it was well worth the price. I would do it again, and come back to visit Charlie and Chelsea for another class!
I’ve always wanted to work on a pottery wheeI so a friend and I went and we absolutely had a great time! Instruction was thorough and hands on to help you learn the techniques and pressure on the clay. We made two bowls each. The cost was affordable and a great value. Charlie, his wife and assistant were all very friendly and helpful. Charlie was a hoot!!
Being able to experience glass blowing up close and personal is probably one of the coolest things I’ve watched to date! This is your sign to go if you haven’t or are debating.

We originally went to see the Chihuly Collection across the street and discovered you can attend the free glass blowing demo with the admission ticket. And they have demos every hour on the hour so it was easy and obvious to go.

There were two glass blowers in the demonstration- one doing the actual heavy lifting and the other explaining what was going on. Glass blowing is an entire art of its own and it’s so fascinating. I thought they did a great job educating the crowd on different methods and why you do things certain ways.

You can then shop around and purchase other glass pieces made by the very glass blowers who were in the demo. It’s really such a cool operation and I’m really glad I accidentally stumbled upon it. It’s so different from most experiences you could find.

Really great to experience this up close and the instructors were really great at explaining everything step by step. My little (9) really enjoyed watching this come to life start to finish so I would recommend this to anyone wanting to expose their kids to a unique form of art.
The glass blowing demo was included in the Chihuly museum tickets. Very cool to see the guys work. Really made me appreciate Chihuly’s work. The little shop upfront had some pretty interesting pieces for purchase.

Pretty cool glass work, but definitely on the pricier side. It's great for almost treating like a gallery to see some unique glass pieces. It's really neat to know that it is locally made because some of the sculptures created are ridiculously done by some talented folks! Be careful though because if you break something you're liable to pay for it.

They also do glass blowing demos on the hour. If you purchase admission to Chihuly Collection around the corner, you get this for free and access to the Morean Art Gallery as well!

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the creation of such beautiful art in glass. I only wish I had seen the demonstration before I went to see the Chihuly Collection, it added a whole new perspective of what goes into the creation of these works of glass art. Highly recommended!
I took my mother for a fun bonding experience, we both had a wonderful time. Charlie is very entertaining and his assistant was very kind. They were both provided help and tips to make sure your bowls turned out looking like actual bowls. The price is very reasonable and includes instructions, materials, and your finished product. I would highly recommend and will be returning in the future.
I started the beginner classes a month ago and couldn’t be happier. Everyone is super friendly and helpful and the studio is amazing. I can’t wait to take the next levels
I had a great time. The teacher, Lynn was funny and very knowledge. The class is a 6 week journey with open studio time between classes. I had no previous experience, and found that I had no trouble understanding Lynn. Both my wife and I are taking the class, and we both had a great time. This was my first good price at the 1st lesson. Highly recommended.
Update: my wife and I returned. We figured with her now being experienced she would be able to get closer to the desired creation. Different instructor. Major difference in how he taught. Much easier to understand and he was willing to lend a hand for guidance.

Original Review: My wife and mother in-law throughly enjoyed the experience. They could have been a bit more educational while demonstrating. My wife went in with the mindset she was going to make a coffee cup and an espresso cup. The outcome was not as desired but could have been with the right mentoring. Awesome layout nice people.
I bought a Groupon for myself, my mom and Grandma and we had a wonderful time with Martha! She was a great teacher and we are excited for the next class to paint our pieces. You schedule your second class the day of the first class. There’s a nice gallery of pieces you can purchase. The place is peaceful and inviting. I think I will keep coming back!
Nice atmosphere! Lots of beautiful art to see to get inspired and amazing people to work with. Everyone is so nice here, you feel like your right at home. It's very welcoming and accommodating. If you want to know more about classes to take they are extremely helpful and patient with newbies. Working with clay is an extraordinary spiritual creative process that I think everyone needs to experience.
I've never done pottery. Didn't think this would go well (I've never thought of myself as artistic or creative) BUT I left Charlie's studio LOVING the experience. I bought a Groupon for my husband as he had expressed interest in doing a pottery class and we made a morning date out of it. We both left feeling accomplished and that we both made the most beautiful bowls ever lol!

Charlie is awesome and has the best sense of humor! Very patient, taught us lots of techniques, and is a great conversationalist. He's a very fun teacher. And since we were in a smaller group, the attention he was able to give to each of us was much appreciated, because I had no clue what I was doing! The class took just under two hours to complete and was such a fun experience.

The studio/gallery has lots of pieces to look at and purchase. It was fun to just walk around and look at everyone's work, and imagine what I could aspire to maybe make one day, haha! I can't wait to pick up our pieces once they are glazed and fired. And the hubby and I are already planning to attend another class to create some different pieces. Highly recommend Charlie Parker Pottery if you are looking for something fun to do and hey-- you might even find a new hobby!
I did a wheel throwing class Groupon here over the weekend. The instructor was very informative, funny, and helpful. I look forward to going back to paint my items and take them home later! - updated to add pictures
