Bob and Elaine are perfection when it comes to framing or re-framing, matting or re-matting, and all things art. While we lived in Dallas over a period of five years we entrusted BeauxArts to execute all of that and more. Their professionalism and expertise is tops.
In love with this place. It has a very inviting and welcoming atmosphere. The host is great and is easy to talk to. Highly recommend if you're interested in exploring sensual arts.
All in all, this place is creepy as hell, and I LOVE IT. The staff is super nice and you can walk through multiple times and still find new things. Great experience and probably one of my favorite antique stores
I have gone to the red room about 4 times now for different events and it’s one of the most welcoming and relaxing places I’ve been to in the lounge space.
The food is always great with perfect portions and the art are always inspiring plus the red lights really set the sensual tone.

Red Room has become my weekly go to location for some much needed R&R. The studio creates a very special atmosphere that allows for creativity and art to be on display. I highly recommend folks follow them on social media and check out their upcoming events.
Amazing Event Space — Bella and Seatran do amazing work and I love the positive vibes they provide to all that attend.
This is one of me and my daughter’s favorite stores. One can spend hours in here and always see something new every time. It’s always great to see Justin and you can catch him in full clown attire quite often. He’s also very knowledgeable on wet specimens and antiquities. I always make it a point to go by when I go to the Dallas Arboretum. It makes for a wonderful day of beauty, art and intrigue. Pictured is a mounted tarantula I bought from Curiosities Antiques with a combination of my friends poured paint canvas and my painted canvas behind the tarantula, with a reveal frame made by my Dad. It’s one of my prized possessions.
Nicely curated shop with interesting items and statement pieces. Plenty of odds and ends to pick through and the staff is very friendly. I will surely be back for more items.
I arrived 10 minutes prior to closing and was pushed out the door. Mind you I was driving through and excited to make this stop as I am not from the area. So put off by bing pushed out so their staff could have done what they needed to to be able to punch the clock at 7 verse allowing me to view and spend money. We bought a $6 item and left. Nonetheless the store was incredible! I would love to stop by another day in the future to see it all. From floor to ceiling, wall to wall, it’s filled with glorious, eclectic, fun, mysterious items! It’s a store that needs to be seen!

We were in town this week for vacation and decided it would be fun to stop in and have a look. We felt warm and welcomed the second we walked through the door, which is never the case in the oddity and antique shops that we have visited in New orleans. There are so many amazing things to see and it's super easy to get lost in the nooks and crannies filled with records, artwork, vintage bottles, and toys. We found some awesome things and even got to have a lovely conversation with the owner. We will absolutely be visiting again soon and hopefully can introduce more friends to this amazing and unique shop.
With admission being free, this is one of the best spots to visit with kids, especially being there is park and food trucks across the street. Street parking is limited to 2 hrs but was only $.95 for the 2 hours. There were 4 levels each taking about 30-45 mins if you keep up a good pace. Lot's to view and more than just paintings. Lots of wearables and functional art as well as a sculpture garden.
Let’s start with the fact it is free (except for parking). Pieces from many different periods and places from around the world. And then to see Monet, Rodin, Picasso, Kahlo and so many more. Museum is huge and barely scratched the surface in just over 2 hours. Exceeded our expectations!
Loved the museum. The main entrees at the internal restaurant were excellent, but the drinks and sides were extremely overpriced. The gift shop was awesome. The displays were phenomenal. My wife loved the landscape paintings. I myself was drawn to many of the ancient artifacts and furniture.

What crossed my mind is that the highly influenced religious connotations are widely exposed. More so than the Christian look at life. There is Christian art, but it’s meaning is less brought forward in its content compared to the other religious works. My suggestion is to balance that out more properly and explain the meaning of Jesus and the content of the Gospel in similar ways.

Great museum with a lot of different exhibits from many lands. It' has 4 stories and elevators for those with mobility issues and wheelchairs. You can easily spend several hours touring the museum.

Very awesome museum, one of the most impressive art museums I have ever visited, very large selection of art and being free admission makes it top tier. Highly recommend stopping in during your trip to Dallas.
Admission is free. Secure your tickets online in advance. You cannot carry drinks etc but there is a coatcheck where you can secure any items that you brought with you. This is especially useful for people out for the day exploring the city like myself.

Went today during posted hours (website & google), but it was gated. No one answered phone, no voicemail option, and no one responded when I buzzed at the gate.
Super fun. We went when it was 110 outside so the sculpture garden was closed. They said it is usually opens each morning till it gets to hot. We were going to go back but run out of time. (the museum is free)
An astounding collection of art and artifacts from around the globe. The African and Asian art galleries were my favorites! An employee suggested we begin at the 4th floor and make our way down, and I’m glad they did! Such an incredible experience. A must visit in Dallas!
I’ve been wanting to come here for quite sometime. I was having a stressful morning and decided to just throw that whole situation away and restart the day. I enjoyed floating through the galleries. I got hungry and went to their cafe and I was impressed. I excepted school lunch but was treated to a culinary delight. The strawberry mango compote was refreshing it had a hint of ginger but it was beautiful 😍 the mini bri and crostini worked wonderfully. I want to come back and finish looking around. It was fun and it wasn’t crowded although people were round about.
This is an amazing place to shop. They have the most unique things that you can only imagine. This place is a must see to shop for those once in a life time pieces. The owner Jason and his staff. Emma and Catherine are amazing. Also both incredible artist so if you're looking for amazing artwork definitely seek them out for a painting or drawing. EVERY MONDAY WE CELEBRATE self-care and it is a viiiibe at the REDROOM. Perfect way to set intentions and start a successful week.
I visited the Red Room Dallas for Self care Monday , which is every Monday starting at 6am . I love that there are Multiple services available for me to choose from . The services I selected were Yoga / stretching and therapeutic scalp massage . Both services were amazing! The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming . I definitely will be coming back every Monday . Highly recommend .
The Dallas Museum of art was beautiful and awesome, It was a trip for family day at the Job and we had 5 kids ages 4-9. The only issues we had is there seemed to be employees in every room following close behind to make sure the kids didn't get to close or touch anything they even asked us to keep them 2 feet back while we watched adults standing so close the could lick the portrait.
So I'm just not sure how kid friendly they are maybe it was because we had 5 young kid's, I would return but with adults.

Elaine was incredible. We needed a gift in a pinch and she helped us fine a map, frame & courier services it over within 24 hours!! Saved us. They had beautiful options of vintage & antique maps and complimenting custom framing.
What a wonderful and shall I say - Free museum to visit in the heart of museum district in Dallas. The parking isn’t free though and now costs $20. It is a bit high but you can park all day until 9pm and walk to other museums and locations nearby or grab food while you car stays cool in the covered park. The museum has a good collection, a little crowded though because, well it’s free. The Asian collection is bigger than I had expected and I love the sizeable addition of Indian and Islamic art. They had a mummy while I visited which is great to see. Set aside a couple hours to fully explore it all and you can always grab some food at the cafe if you feel hungry. The museum staff isn’t too overwhelming which is a good thing. Maybe avoid weekends and public holidays if you don’t want to deal with crowds.
This was the coolest and most unique antique store I've ever seen. The most friendly and helpful staff too. Any time I had a question an employee was always willing to discuss with me the history of an item and give me as much background information as possible which makes it that much more special.
I can't wait to come back and check this place out again on my next visit to Dallas.

This is such a unique space. The space allows freedom and creativity to flow without any judgment. I attended a yoga event here and not only did it put me in a state of tranquility, but i felt so liberated. Definitely will be attending more events here.
Excellent experience. All the exhibits were wonderful. And best of all, it's free of cost. We did reserve tickets online in advance on the day of visit. There was no wait to enter. Water bottles need to be checked in. The entire museum is very clean and features exhibits from different parts of the world including Indonesia, India, Japan, Africa, Egypt. It's 4 floors and recommended to start on the 4th floor and then make your way down to the first floor. Budget around 2 hours minimum. The sculpture terrace provided good views of the city.
Atmosphere was very comfortable, the lighting was right on, the Artwork was unique and very creative.
The art here is so wonderful!! The Warehouse collection is one of the best I've seen. It is on par with any of the other big museum collections like DMA and MoMA. I had a really good time. Definitely worth any art lovers time.

This museum has a wonderful collection of different mediums, some are interactive and fascinating. The items are well cared for and nicely arranged. It would have been nice to have more info about the artists in the beautiful info book they give out. A very positive experience overall!

Their brilliant approach makes for a uniquely engaging atmosphere. Oddities, curios, be they new, old or somewhere in between, Curious Gardens is an intoxicating, unexpected experience by brilliantly blending collections of cultural diversity, local creativity, wrapped up in the perfect store. They have the best people on hand with extensive knowledge & gladly help with questions, sharing history or background on any item, as well as providing items I could only find there or better alternatives when needed.
Simply put, this is & isn’t your Grandparents’ shop. It’s everyone’s. If you want to take a walk on the wild side, down memory lane or just loose yourself from the world outside, this Garden is definitely for you.

always a delight. incredible that important work is available in my own back yard. been going since around 2013-2014 when a class at TWU organized a field trip. always grateful for the self paced tours and especially the guided tours, Caitlin Overton's and Thomas Feulmer's passion for the collection is always a joy to listen to.
I've been a customer of Beaux Arts for over 5 years. They are literally the best framers in town. They're framing methods are of an extremely high quality for a very fair price. I'm glad to give them a solid 5-star rating.
Bob and his team are amazing! We not only found an original painting that we love, but we also used his framing services. The framing quality is top quality and the prices are very fair.

The Mix Creative Space is a unique place to visit, shop and explore your creative spirit. They have dedicated studios, shared studios and open studio space. You can also support their artists by shopping their online store where you can find one of a kind works of art by local East Dallas artists. I see they are also holding workshops, pop ups and some kiddo events as well, online and on site.
I had one of the dedicated studios there for years and sadly had to give it up when I moved away. I cherish the sense of community and support I received from all the members and staff.

Five stars since I can't give six. Bob & Elaine are fantastic. We had several prints and a couple of silks framed. They also removed the wrinkles from some damaged prints. Very knowledgeable, top quality work, pleasant, down-to-earth. Gallery is pretty amazing, too. Here's a sample:

We just added to our collection of art works framed by Beaux Arts Art. These two textile pieces belonged to my Grandmother. Bob was very helpful with suggestions as to how they should be framed and protected. We trust his opinions and care of the items we bring to him. It is always a pleasure to be in his shop and see what he has on display. Beautiful pieces! Great work!

My piece required a lot of back and forth to find the proper matting and frame and Bob has the patience of a saint! I was in awe of their beautiful selection of frames. Gorgeous! They are very knowledgeable on all facets of framing, matting and glass. I found their pricing to be very reasonable and their work the highest quality. I urge you to visit Beaux Arts before you ever walk into another mass-framer. I'll be back!
I have lost count of the number of items (prints, lithographs, original watercolors and oil paintings) that Bob and his talented crew have framed for us over the last four years. I originally found Beaux Arts by searching for fine art framing and I'm so glad I did. Bob and Elaine will spend as much time as you need selecting the right frame, matting material, and glass to best highlight whatever you've got. They are always conscious of your budget and work to get you a finished product that is beautiful and won't break the bank. I recommend them without any reservations. Awesome experience. As with most modern art, you need the back story to get the symbolism and concept in correct view and appreciation. Very nice and well laid out galleries with expert guided commentary about the artist and the back story for a full appreciation. And it's all for free with an appointment.
Although it is a private museum, if you're ever given the chance to visit the Warehouse, I would strongly recommend it. In my experience, the caretakers of the exhibits were very knowledgeable and made the exhibits even more interesting with information from the creators. Everything was laid out very well and included some truly beautiful pieces, both visually and conceptually. It's really a unique experience.
