It's an ok spot, close to the water, but I would not consider this backcountry camping in the least. The sites are close together, it's very busy, and the trail between campsites go literally right through your campsite, so there is zero privacy -- you will have other campers walking through your zone.
Fantastic spot with a shelter in case it rains, clean toilets, bear food lockers, garbage and recycling bins, and tent platforms for site 2 and 3. Firewood is delivered daily. Good sheltered spot with shallow waters for swimming. However this is a busy area with many boats anchored in the bay so this may not be a spot to consider for a quiet getaway.
Snake infested
We liked the area. Clean, and nice views from the campground. The trails are not recommended. It's a hardship not to get lost, barely any signs, and there is no clear path. The map doesn't help. The campground itself is very nice.
