This campground is awesome and so is the staff. My wife and I camped here for the first time on a Friday and we loved it so
much we asked for another night on a busy weekend. Victor went out of his way to help us find another available spot for Saturday. We enjoyed walking around the lake. The grounds are clean and well maintained and so are the restrooms. I like how all spaces have full hook ups. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you!
Great trails, with paid parking

This park offers a nice walking trail and outdoor workout equipment. It's a great place to get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors. Be aware that there is paid parking on site.

Absolutely beautiful park with so much to do. The shaded play structure is lovely and the ducks are so fun to feed. My son and I catch small minnows and crawdads in the creek areas towards the back of the park.
Highlights:

- Spacious, well-maintained RV sites with full hookups (water, sewer, electric)
- Peaceful atmosphere with surrounding trees (though Starlink signal can be weak)
- Over 4 miles of trails for hiking and exploring with your dog
Serene ponds teeming with fish and birdsong - perfect for relaxing
- Convenient location near Oceanside for restaurants, shops, and groceries (Vons, Albertsons, Walmart nearby)
- Strong T-Mobile 5G signal (though Starlink may be weak at some sites)

Our recent trip to Guajome Regional Park in Oceanside was a delightful two weeks for my wife and me, the perfect escape to relax and reconnect with nature. As full-time RVers, we're always searching for campgrounds that offer a balance of nature, amenities, and convenience. Guajome checked all the boxes, and proved to be a fantastic spot for us and our furry companions.
We landed site 21, spacious and well-maintained, with ample room to extend our awning and slideouts. Having full hookups (water, sewer, and electric) was a major plus for a longer stay. The campground itself was clean and quiet, with a peaceful atmosphere thanks to the surrounding trees. It's worth mentioning that things got lively during Memorial Day weekend, but the festive vibe was enjoyable. We even met some other RVer couples with dogs, and our pups had a blast playing together.
A word to the wise for fellow RVers who rely on Starlink: the abundant tree cover at Guajome can weaken the signal. If a strong and stable internet connection is crucial for you, consider contacting the park office beforehand to inquire about campsites with clearer skies. They might be able to recommend a location that better suits your needs. Luckily, even though Starlink wasn't ideal at our site, T-Mobile's 5G signal was excellent, so we weren't completely out of luck.
Beyond the campground, the park itself was a true treat for us dog-loving RVers. Over 4 miles of trails wind through diverse terrain, perfect for stretching your legs, getting fresh air, and giving your furry friend a chance to explore. We loved the variety of landscapes – rolling hills, serene ponds, and even glimpses of local wildlife. It felt like a nature escape right outside our RV door, with plenty of space for our dogs to sniff around (on leash, of course!).
As RVers, convenience is key, and Guajome delivered there too. The location was fantastic – close enough to Oceanside for restaurants and shops, but far enough away to feel like a true getaway. Plus, the on-site dump station was a major convenience. Even better, there are several chain grocery stores, like Vons, Albertsons, and Walmart, all within a 10-minute drive of the park. This made it easy to stock up on supplies and essentials without having to travel far.
Cute campground for a few nights. Very quiet, clean bathrooms and showers. There is cell service and the camp sites with hook ups have both rv plugs and a regular Edison plug like you would see in a home. The lake is so cute. Lot of trails to explore
Traffic noise and more traffic noise. The park is well maintained, campground clean, sites are reasonably easy to back into. The trails are mostly well maintained dirt roads for park vehicles. The marsh is a mosquito haven; that written, San Diego County does have a mosquito abatement department that should keep them to a minimum.

BUT, the north border of the park is Route 76 where traffic lights are poorly timed and provide an excellent race way for motorcycles racing between red-lights. The western border is shared with a 5 stall fire department with paramedic vehicles.
The drive between I-5 and the park found us spending more time waiting for traffic lights than driving.

If you're OK with traffic noise and sirens, this is your place. If you're looking for a quiet place, don't waste your time.
My first time here at this amazing little treasure of a park and what a pleasant surprise! Beautifully maintained park, trails, restrooms, and camp grounds. It is a $3 entrance fee which was well worth it. I will be coming here more often and enjoying this space.
Management keeps this place clean and neat!! Easy access to the beach and restaurants. I would definitely visit this place again and again
Safe, clean and close to everything. Staff is awesome too. I can't wait to get back.
Located close to beach... but the traffic to get out is nonstop! Pools heated , so enjoyable year round...stayed for a week. Will be going back, definitely...
Our stay at Sea Beach RV Resort was off to a great start thanks to the incredibly helpful staff who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They graciously rearranged our sites so that our family could be together, a gesture that we truly appreciated and that enhanced our overall experience at the resort.

The presence of a pool and jacuzzi added an extra touch of luxury and relaxation to our stay, providing the perfect spots to unwind and enjoy some quality time with loved ones.

While the resort itself provided a safe and secure environment with locked gates, allowing us to feel at ease during our stay, we encountered some external factors that caused concern. The presence of homeless individuals in the surrounding area, particularly on the beach, in the park, and along the walking path, was unsettling and made us hesitant to let our teens explore the town freely.

Within the resort, the game room, though clean and well-stocked, had limited hours of operation, closing at 5 pm. This early closure was disappointing as it prevented us from enjoying the facility in the evening when we would have liked to. Additionally, our experience was marred by the unfriendly attitude of the staff member at the front desk when we visited the game room shortly before closing time. Her lack of hospitality and abrupt demeanor left a negative impression on us and detracted from our overall enjoyment of the resort.

Despite these issues, Sea Beach RV Resort offers a pleasant setting with helpful staff, great amenities, and a secure environment. With some improvements in addressing the operational hours of facilities and ensuring a more welcoming guest experience, this resort has the potential to provide an even more enjoyable stay for visitors.

This is our third time staying here. The facilities are great: restrooms clean,. Staff is always working doing maintenance, planting small trees. It is very nice overall. They are doing a great job.
My only suggestion would be to have maybe more grass areas strategically situated around the park. Probably you are thinking about it already.

As always we enjoyed our stay. Great place and close to everything. We love the walk to the little beach. The kids always love the pool , hot tub and games. Laundry room is always clean and makes the beach in an RV so much easier.

This park is like all of the ones in the beach cities. They are just wide enough for the rig and a picnic table. However, this park has a fence partway between the sites. Most of the sites are concrete Pull-Thru spots. The campground is situated right on Pacific Coast Hwy and is near to everything, except a sandy beach. You can access a beach with just a short drive. The park has a nice but small pool and Jacuzzi. The staff maintains the park in a very clean condition. The Sprinter light rail train goes by frequently and blows their horn but it doesn't bother me. This is our second stay and we will definitely be returning. You can get packages delivered by UPS.
Clean, quiet camp sites with full hookups. Small wildlife (birds and rabbits) to enjoy. Green spaces to walk through and small lake with waterfowl.

Great hidden treasure off the 76 in North County. There’s plenty of trails here for walking , biking and horseback riding. Trails are clearly marked and have speed warning signs for people on bikes. There’s a campground nearby and an attached parking area that cost $3 for the day. I opted to park on one of the residential streets across from the entrance to the trails. The trails go past two lakes and there a few little bridges that span the streams that feed into the lakes. I saw lots of birds, a rabbit and a weasel of some sort. There are warning signs for rattlesnakes but I didn’t see any reptiles. Great park with decent selection of trails. There a sparingly few trash cans so please take your trash with you and keep the park clean
Really enjoy this park and staying at the campground. Only downside is that most campsites are booked on random days and the rvs play musical chairs so they can stay for weeks. I met several great people and dogs here, and love the trails and landscape. It's a little pocket of wilderness and a peaceful place. The staff are super friendly and attentive as well.
This is our third year to come back. We love it here. The location is ideal; close to the beach, near downtown and the pier. We walk down for sunset daily. The staff are great and they do a fantastic job of keeping everything clean. We plan to come again next year.
I stayed for 4 months and the facilities / amenities were consistently kept very clean. Large bathrooms with large walk in showers.
The management is excellent to work with and communicate with. (Jody, Damon, Ken)
Of course, wonderful location.

Great for month to month in off season!
Came from 1000 Trails and just decided to stay.
I do not normally write reviews but because employees worked there did such a wonderful job and it was a comfortable place to temporarily call home 🏡
I had to share. 🧡Elizabeth

The only downside is ... THE TRAIN noise!!
I never got used to the sound train as early as 5am and as late as 11pm.
What a wonderful experience at Paradise by The Sea RV park. If you're looking for a clean, well maintained, safe RV park in a great location, this is the place to be. The staff were so helpful and friendly. This place is packed with amenities. A small store, a pool and hot tub, clean showers and restrooms, and a clubhouse, they even have a dog park. 🐕
On our first evening there, we walked the 1/4 mile to the beach and watched the sun set. Each day, we explored Oceanside by foot and found great locations for lunch and dinner. There's even a coffee shop (Vigilnate Coffee) within walking distance. If convenience and a clean place in a great location is what you're looking for, then Paradise by The Sea is worth the higher price tag.
Stayed at this location for one month. Its proximity to the beach and pier is convenient. The staff members are exceptionally friendly, and the facilities are well-maintained and clean. The heated pool is a nice touch. However, the game room was closed for maintenance during our stay. Additionally, the back laundry room consistently had several out-of-service dryers, causing inconvenience.

Regrettably, my husband’s new $3,000 mountain bike was stolen from our site one night. Swift reporting led to a fortunate recovery by the local police from a nearby homeless camp the following day. Notably, the park has two entrances; one has a gate that operates at scheduled times, while the other remains open without a gate. I recommend installing an additional gate for added security. Unfortunately, theft incidents seem to occur in cycles at this park, emphasizing the importance of securing personal belongings.
Really nice park with many helpful staff members. Super clean and well maintained. Sites are close together, but that's to be expected when near the beach. Walking path takes you to the waves in a couple minutes.
Oceanside RV resort, it’s a great place to stay only a couple blocks from the beach. My husband and I stayed for four months while working a temporary job nearby. We got to see so many of the new improvements going on; new foliage, better lights, remodeled laundry rooms, improved dog run. We highly recommend staying there. The resident staff are outstanding. Thanks everyone for making our stay pleasant.
Great, clean RV park we stayed here while visiting Legoland. Easy walk to the beach, good coffee and restaurants. Great facility with lovely pool and hot tub. Games room for the kids. Laundry facilities. Decorated nicely with friendly helpful staff. Would stay again.
I love this place because it offers a variety of outdoor activities not only a park but also short but fun hiking trails with beautiful views at high vantage points. Lake with beautiful wildlife. I love feeding the geese, ducks, and the other birds don't remember their breed name which by the way will feed off your hand. It features a camping area that is always full. You can hike through the dense brush in daylight or at night of course at your own risk. It all depends on your skill level.

Our stay is part of our thousand trails membership, and it is a great place to stay. There are many places to eat and a Wal-Mart just a few miles away.
The ocean air is wonderful. The sites are tight but comfortable. Sites have fences separating them.
There are a few clean and well maintained laundry rooms. The restrooms are complete, with clean showers.
My only complaint would be that the dog park is dirt with gravel. It has a bad smell with obvious wet spots that are kind of icky. Yet there is a large dog bath, which is a nice surprise.
Nice park to bring your horse
to trail ride. There are a few different trials you can take. There is a large loop around the lake and a smaller loop around a smaller lake. If your ride the entire park can take about two hours. During late spring the flowers are really beautiful and in bloom. The paths are fairly wide and well marked. Best time to go is during the week to avoid more of the foot traffic and bicycles. Most people are pretty polite to horse traffic and try to stay out of your way. If you are on a bike and coming up from behind on horses, please call out and pass on left. I do wish however there was less large gravel in some areas.
Some horses are sensitive to gravel. Horse trailer parking is pretty easy in the main parking lot area or off Guajome Lake road and in dirt.

I truly enjoyed our stay. The staff was nice and friendly. The grounds, pool, and bathrooms were clean. Yes, there is a train track but the noise didn't bother us. If you are sensitive to noise then this may not be the spot for you. We stayed in one of the pull-through spaces for 3 nights. Location is great. Close to coffee, food, and the beach.
Beautiful camp ground, lt have everything you need for a great camping trip. We did our TNTT group camp here before COVID and past weekend. Everything was great the first trip; however, for this past weekend trip, we had some hiccup with that one park ranger (HECTOR) who is very nitpicking and won't leave us be. We booked 1 to 12 campsite space, and Hector would give us a hard time about 4 tents being next to each other (2 campsite spaces). Parent would drop off their kids at the campsite and get threatened for a citation for pulling in the campsite parking by HECTOR. Besides, Hector needs to be more accommodated. Everything else was smooth sailing. We had great weather and a beautiful park. Before leaving the campsite, we had everyone line up and did a trash pick up n walk through because we appreciate the work of the park rangers and everyone who keeps this park beautiful

Loved our stay in this park! Nice playground and picnic areas. Ducks to feed on the lake with many walking trails. Clean park and restrooms! We had no trouble with our 40ft 5th wheel and pads were nice with table and fire pit. Smaller campground with limited spots for big rigs so plan early!.

Incredibly tranquil and scenic Park located fairly close to Oceanside and Vista. This area pond has numerous birds, ducks, geese and a small number of RV spots NOT bunched together, with full hookups. Do yourself a favor and visit this small but mighty regional park, either on foot, on horseback, electric bike or RV. Just a slice of heaven here. Very friendly park rangers! Strongly recommended for a quiet getaway!
We really enjoy this park. The nature trails are wonderful and the lake and nearby pond add to the overall nature experience. There is a children's playground on site as well as a volleyball court, pickleball court, and workout equipment. The campgrounds are well maintained with all RV hookups available at each site. The park also has a dumping station. Each site has a concrete parking slab with greenery all around. Each site also has a clean and well maintained picnic table and fire pit. The restrooms and showers are clean and in excellent working condition. Codes to enter the restrooms and showers are issued to campers and changed regularly for added security. Tokens for the showers are available at the park office where they also sell firewood. We have camped at this park on three separate occasions and enjoy it immensely!
