What a great little old florida campground. The canopy drive coming in is beautiful and feels like your gateway to the peacefulness of this campground. This our second stay here and it won't be our last. The bathrooms and communal areas are clean and adequate, and the grounds are clean and nicely kept. The location is awesome and is just a short drive to Venice and grocery stores. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Thank you for the great weekend getaway!

We stayed for a month. We really liked it and the amenities like the on premise dog park and laundry. Lots of wildlife as well. Price was a little steep but not really for the area. It is gated and everyone is super friendly. We would go back. Watch coming in and out as there is a low canopy that can cause issues if you aren’t aware or paying attention.

All of the staff we encountered were fantastic. The issue is with the park itself.
We booked with the office giving them the size of our RV and tow vehicle (40ft RV) The first site they wanted to put us on wasn’t big enough, and if it had been, the ground was so soft and sunken in we would have been too heavy risking getting stuck. The couple next to that site came out when they saw us saying the last 3 Rigs in that spot all struggled to get out (one of them they said needed to dig out)
The park had one spot open to move us too, which wasn’t as nice and they charged us more. The owners need to put some money into this place. It was a mud pit everywhere with the rain, and when it wasn’t raining the dust was a mess. They haven’t brought in stone for who knows how long.
Rustic is nice, but when everything is muddy & just filthy all the time it’s not fun. For what we paid, definitely not worth the money.
We had the feeling all they care about was filling every spot, not worrying about RV size and safety.

We enjoyed our visit at this family friendly campground. The other campers were very nice and we had a nice tent site. A lot of people were fishing and catching fish at the campground. The pool was really nice and the bathrooms clean.

We loved our stay and the camp ground was very clean. Becky and Robert were very accommodating with anything we needed and just all around great people. We will definitely be back. There’s also tons of hiking trails nearby.

The trees were nice. Spaces were a little close for my liking. Not much to do for activities. "Heated pool" was freezing cold and disgusting. Bathrooms were clean. Showers were very small. People were having a hard time with their camper and were working on it loudly late into the night for a week. Onsite washer and dryer was convenient.
