This is a campground that is very clean with excellent bathroom facilities. It is perfect for a stopover on the way to Munising. As expected in a city campground, there is some noise from trains and cars, but it's not a big deal. There is a good supermarket nearby called Jack’s Fresh where you can buy food.

Clean, decent sized lots with full hook ups. Only downside is a little noisey as it's next to the interstate bridge. Friendly staff.
We had family stop in, told they couldn't park by us even though campground was almost empty, dumb rule
My fiancé (boyfriend at the time) was working up in Menominee on Lake Michigan so we stayed at this campground for the entire summer of 2021 and I cannot imagine a better experience. I can’t remember her name, but the manager was super accommodating and answered any questions we had. The people in the neighboring campsites were all super friendly and loved our dog Bandit. Tons of grocery and food places nearby, plus a laundromat right next to it which was particularly helpful for us since our camper did not have a washer and dryer! Also a few beaches near. In addition to the fun, I was also taking college courses this summer and they had WiFi so I had no issues staying on top of school. One of the best, most peaceful summers of my life

Geese make a Big mess all over the place. Can hardly walk out your door without stepping in the mess. Noisy road noise and train horns. Only 30amp but can live with that. Broken wood on the bench and grass by river needs to be cut. Could be a nice place if better taken care of.
This really is a wonderful little campground. It is on the water - nice views. Everything is paved and each site had a little patio with a picnic table. The grass is wonderful - if you park your unit all the way to the edge, you can have chairs on the paved portion and enjoy the lawn (no need for mats). Walking distance to a nice grocery store. FHU w 30 amps only, but plenty of shade. $40 a night.
We have a 38 foot fifth wheel and a hauler. This is our stopping point every year when we travel to the U.P. The park is very nice, quiet, and well kept. The restrooms are very nice and clean. Within the park the roads are hard surface. The park is easily accessible to the highway and best of all we can see the Navy ships that are being built at the shipyard across the river. You would not make a mistake staying here.
