Beautiful area, but unfortunately, for me, too many rules and restrictions, the workers' nice people but no common sense ....will be nice for many people, but for me I'll never come back......thanks

Beautiful location on the edge of Cyprus Lake. We had a yurt which was very spacious and the log burners were a nice feature. Service was good but I thought it was a bit overkill to receive tickets for putting up a hammock in front of the yurt, and also for our makeshift tarpaulin which we only put up temporarily stop us being drowned in a downpour.

Absolutely ridiculous park!
DO NOT COME HERE!
Don’t recommend.
Drove 4 and half hours to come here , booked reservations. Ended up arriving late due to truck complications.
Had to park on the side of the road for the night without any place to sleep after I reserved and paid for my spot.
In the morning, Karen at the front desk wouldn’t let me in. After I was willing to pay and came in the morning like they have asked.
This park is filled with nonsense rules.
They turn the wifi on you at night due to them being cheap.
Absolutely horrible experience.

A nice, quiet little campground. The sites are fairly close together but that just gives it more of a community feel. Loved the little cabin we stayed in, it was perfect for the cool nights! Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Camp grounds were clean, bathrooms decent. Cyprus lake was gorgeous.
Lots of walking trails close by, kayak and canoe rentals spots. (Bring your own if possible) $50 to 75 about hr

The area in itself is beautiful. The lake water was very clear and blue, and the grotto was absolutely stunning!! The walk to the lake is super cute and they made sure to set up benches and restrooms for breaks on the way.
As for the campground itself, don't expect privacy, not even remotely. This is not the place to go if you're after a quiet natural camping experience. The sites seemed way too close to each other, we could easily see and hear everyone's conversations and people were not shy about making loud noise until midnight. This place would be more suitable for large groups that are planning on staying up late and not mind other loud large groups next to them, or if you feel safer camping with a bunch of people around you.
The site is set up quite nicely though, depending on your site. They got couple of picnic tables and a designated fireplace/grill. The fire wood was however disappointing, most of it was spongy and moist.
Pros:
- beautiful views and walks
- clean and maintained area
- convenient for people who want an easy camping experience
-easily accessible sites
Cons:
- alot of fees (wood 13$/night, reservation fee, camping fee, park entry fee)
- sites WAY too closely packed together
- can't bring your own wood
- not for people who want a peaceful quiet time or privacy. I felt like i was next to a bar most of the time, especially during "quiet hours".
Would I come back again? No. Maybe just to go to the lake but not for a camping night.

Such a beautiful campground, our site had this beautiful view of the field and horses. It was great to interact with them. Everyone was so welcoming and ensured we had what we needed to enjoy our stay.

The coffee shop was definitely our favorite part of the campground, they are super friendly, great food, great coffee, etc. Premium cabins I think are a little overpriced for what you get over a regular cabin as the shower is quite small, only 2 outlets, and having a kitchenette with just a sink, microwave, and mini fridge. The charcoal grill is also a nice touch but again, not to what we think the cabin is worth.

Absolutely love visiting Tobermory and surrounding area. harmony acres is in the right location. The staff are awesome, helping us upgrade our campsite and checking in on us to make sure our visit was excellent. I loved seeing the changes to the campgrounds and the area in the last 5 years. I am hoping to make this a yearly camp trip now and will defiantly be booking again with Harmony Acres in the future.

The campsite was huge, however there was no real separation between our site (9) and the 3 others adjacent to it, so we had random people cross our campsite a couple of times, which was annoying. But this is probably not applicable to all campsites as some of them looked quite private. We had a big group of campers next to us who were clearly way more than the allowed number of 6 (there were at least 3 cars with 10-12 people incl 4 screaming kids). They had a karaoke set which was blaring throughout our time at the campsite and went on well into the night which totally ruined a couple of nights for us. We reported them to the warden a couple of times but not sure if anything was done about it.
The location of the campground itself is great to plan hikes along the bruce trail, however the Grotto doesn't live up to the hype. The moment you go away from it, the trails become more beautiful and quiet.
If you pay for firewood at the campsite office - beware you're required to take your car to a spot where they dump all the chopped up logs and you're required to pick and choose the logs on your own. Thankfully they were dry and the fire didn't take time to start. Take a big bag with you and if possible, wear protective gloves to carry the logs back to the car.

Beautiful grounds and absolutely lovely staff. Truly the perfect place to stay for your Tobermory visit. The grounds are very quiet and lots of dry wood options to purchase as well as even marshmallow roasters to borrow in case you forgot yours! The “private” rock beach via one of the trails is definitely well worth the 2 hour trek. Cant wait to stay here again!

Great place for camping, the slot is big enough for 2 big tents and a parking slot within. Clean and tidy when we arrived. Pretty close to the washroom so it's convenient in fact. I want to be back here in the future. Recommend this place.

Good service. We came with our tent. Camping was pretty quiet at night, so you could actually sleep. We got a site with water and electricity and everything worked. Fireplace was nice but had no grille. Bathrooms were adequate. There's water access for swimming or paddling. The only downfall is that the campsites are pretty close to each other, so you will be seeing a lot of your neighbors... all in all, that didn't take away from the experience, though.

Just arrived from my 3rd time visiting this campground using a tent with electricity and water. Have not been disappointed ever. Bathrooms and grounds always clean. Friendly staff. My 7 and 11 year old kids always enjoy it very much. Just as the name says, a 'VILLAGE' of strangers who get along respectfully and kindly. Great place for family camping and/or adult camp relaxation.

If you are staying in the Waterfront Cabin 1 at Lands End Park, you are not staying in the campground - the cabin is the only one outside the campground and is down the road. The comfort stations (bathrooms/showers) are located inside the campground (a car ride away). The only access to a 'washroom' is a porta potty located near the cabin (which was disgusting). The location of the cabin was pretty (beside a small lake) but the lack of clean bathroom facilities was very disappointing. If Lands End is going to put their guests in this cabin, they should build a proper bathroom/comfort station within walking distance of this cabin.

Out cite was perfect. Secluded enough but not too much. Showers are 25 cents for 4 minutes - more than enough time with 2 quarters. Clean facilities. Awesome play area for kids. Bike rental on cite. Beach across the road is beautiful!

This is a great place for young family camping if you want quiet. Came here last year with one other person, we weren’t here a lot so didn’t pay much attention, this year I came here with two friends and the campsite vibe was changed.
First we pay a lot each night for a normal tent site that we have to walk 7 minutes to get to the bathroom.
Second, showers are extra
Third, every sign we have seen around the campground was telling us not to do something (ex: no music, no alcohol, no speaking above a whisper after 11) it’s not the rules that were the issue, it was the way they were stated.
Finally, this place should be advertised as a Christian camp. There are bible verses and the 10 commandments everywhere.

An Honest Review
Praise:
Staff Amanda at Harmony Acres accommodated my needs and took the initiative to text me vs calling me after hearing my voicemail greeting stating that I am hard-of-hearing.
I observed one washroom building having a beautiful wooden ramp leading up to it, as well as another ramp leading inside to the front desk through the "chalet area". I believe there was also a large stall and shower designed to accommodate a wheelchair. The site seems to be equipped to meet the needs of a wheelchair or mobility aid user. Very refreshing to see at a campground, since outdoor retreats like this are so often not accessible.
When my plans changed last minute and my travel group changed from 3 adults to 2 adults and one child, staff granted me on-site credit to be used towards firewood, ice, and shower tokens.
Staff Tyler was amazing with the kids staying at the grounds. He encouraged socialization with the horses and found treats for us to give them. Amanda as well sourced carrots for us to feed them. The 7 horses, resident chickens and rooster roaming the grounds were one of the highlights of our stay.
The bathroom and shower buildings were cleaned daily and kept stocked. The porta-potties dotted around the grounds were recently changed/cleaned (we arrived on a Monday). I even saw the bird bath being sponged out and filled with fresh water one day. The grounds and facilities both seem very well kept.
On our last morning, my friend and I ran out of propane while we were cooking up eggs and french toast. Staff allowed us to loot old propane tanks left behind by previous campers and we found one (no charge) with just enough fuel to finish off our breakfast. We packed up and parked our car out front by the office and wandered the grounds one last time to say goodbye to the animals. Staff was so kind and did not rush us off the property. One staff even offered to give us a trail ride before leaving (I may have misheard this), but we opted to wander on foot for a bit instead.
Criticism:
The lots were a bit smaller than expected. However, the grounds overall were beautiful and made up for this.
There was no music allowed whatsoever from any kind of electronic device. Only real instruments were permitted (ie. a guitar). Being my 3-year-old nephew's first camping trip and time away from indoor comforts, we allowed him to watch some cartoons on a tablet while meals were being prepared. The volume was kept very low and no one raised alarm. Bluetooth earphones or headphones are an easy enough solution to this rule should it be an issue. The grounds were eerily quiet at night and most campers seemed to retreat to their tents/cabins quite early. Harmony Acres is definitely a good campground choice for young families or people seeking peace and quiet in nature. "Harmony Acres" lacked harmony (no music 🤭)... perhaps "Tranquil Acres" is a more accurate descriptor.
Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Our first time at Tobermory Village Campground and we loved it! We visited as a couple for 3 nights in a premium cabin. We used this location as a cozy and relaxing home base to our daily outings to amazing activities in the area. Easy to find, very close to the village harbour. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, very clear information about everything you need to know, they give you a map with all the facts. The attention to detail in everything (from gardens, pool, gazebos, outdoors gym, modern playground, ponds, to the fantastic cabins, the email communication) was outstanding, probably the best maintained local family business I have experienced in Canada, well done to the keepers of this place. Will be recommending it highly.

We loved our stay. It far exceeded our expectations. The campgrounds are very clean and well laid out. They are situated right between the heart of Tobermory and the Bruce N. Park, very convenient. We stayed in a cabin, it was very rustic, clean and smelled good. Beds are comfy, we slept well. Washrooms and showers were clean and easily accessible. The staff was the best. Tyler and Amanda were great hosts and always happy to chat and help us. Love the added bonus of chickens and horses. We are definitely planning a trip back to this camp site again.

My first time tent camping and it was an overall great experience. The check in staff were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. They had plenty of cut firewood, fire starters, and ice available for purchase. They explained the map of the park, which we followed each time we drove in and out of the park. The camp site was clean and ample sized for our tent. We booked regular serviced and it had electric and water available, as well as a picnic table and fire pit. The bathrooms were a short walk from our site, and I was happy to see they were well stocked, clean and the showers had very hot water right away (25 cents for 4 minutes of hot water, which was a great deal). We didn’t see any bears or much wildlife but we heard it is possible. I was also pleasantly surprised at how little bugs there were compared to what I’ve heard about camping in Ontario. Highly recommend this place but definitely book ahead!

Beautiful campground, and beach. So quiet and peaceful, secluded private campsites or more open ones for whatever you like, all the staff were absolutely wonderful! And it's very affordable! I would recommend anyone stay here if you're looking for a place to stay that's close to all the amenities but just far enough away for you to be tucked back into nature! Great for families, couples or single campers!

The camp was beautiful, neat and clean, sunset at the lake on the campsite was surreal. We had very noisy neighbour, for what we complained the camp violation team. They didn't even stop the music after complaining. My concern is the patrol has to warn them who campfire and music late on quite time. Our next day plans got cancelled just because we didn't slept that night due to the noise. Washrooms were clean, hub has good shower facilities. Otherwise nice camp, grotto is 30 minutes away from the site. Cyprus lake is nice to swim and kayakm. would definitely return and expect a peaceful stay.

Best campground ever!
I was nervous to stay here after reading some of the bad reviews, but I didn't find any of the complaints to be accurate for our stay.
This campsite was pure happiness.
We have a class C motorhome and stayed in the site near the stables. The hosts were so accommodating to get us set up with everything we needed. We watched the sunset over the pasture, listened to the frogs, and even saw a little snake. In the morning, we were awakened by chickens which was absolutely magical in my opinion. Best morning ever.
A couple things to note:
- The horses didn't stink (I was concerned about that.)
- You have to buy firewood on site
- They don't have a sewer dump, but we dumped at Cyprus campground nearby (Not sure if there is a cost. We planned to pay but it was after hours and there was no one there for us to pay.)

We LOVED the campground! The cabin was perfect, the staff was friendly and helpful and there was plenty for the kids to do as well as great amenities. We recommend this place to everyone - couples, singles, families - it's perfect for all! There is definitely something for everyone here and we will definitely be back next year!

We camped here for five days four nights. Very clean and well serviced camp sites. The private beach was my favorite part of the camp as the kids can play freely without feeling crowded. Washrooms are clean but the showers require quarters and not always working. Hand soap needs to be refilled more frequently. Overall our family had a wonderful vacation at this location and will come back! Also loved the canoe rentals.

We stayed in the park for six days and five nights and had the most absolute fabulous time. We had a secluded site for the first night and then we had a glamping pod for five nights. The staff was phenomenal. The bathrooms and the showers were super duper clean and the whole campsite was just wonderful. I actually enjoyed the fact that there was no music allowed. Except for that, of course a guitar.

We will 100% be coming back for another vacation here!! We absolutely loved it. By far the cleanest and well maintained campground we have been to. The staff was very friendly. They have so much for kids and families to do here that there is never a bored moment. *Make sure you try the pizza from the on site food truck/container!

We travelled 190km to Tobermory and it was well worth it. Not only was the site beautiful but so were the attractions in the area. We stayed in a regular serviced campsite for 7 days. Across from our site was a frog pond where we heard frogs croak every night! It was very lovely and cool to see, especially for kids! During the week the site was quiet and very well kept, there was no one camping in the sites near us during the weekdays so it was also very peaceful. We went mid June and tried to rent a canoe but was informed they do not have them open yet due to cold water. We weren’t really sure why the water temperature affected this, we also did not find the water cold at the beach as we did swim but we carried on. The park store was also a bit small but had most of the essentials needed to camp as well as a variety books and sports balls to borrow! This park came with a playground, a volleyball and soccer field, cabins, a beach just across the road and much more. It was approx $60/night in the busy season and I had a great time! Would definitely go again. (Be prepared for bears!)

The Grotto is gorgeous and a lot of fun. The campground, not so great.
There are several things that I am not fond of in this campground.
1. Our pull through campsite (Birch 186) has two trees right on the pull through driveway. I can barely pass my front car through them and there is absolutely no way that a regular sized trailer could pass (mind you, mine is a small tent trailer)
2. The shower room has minimal water pressure and a design to stop giving water after 3 instances of 2-3 minutes session. It takes about 1m for the water to heat up then you are left with 6-7 min total with a thin flow. I get it, it's probably to reduce water consumption and increase rotation rate. But after a long day hike, I seriously need a little bit more time and water flow than that. Also, there is absolutely no way that I come out of shower with shampoo still on my head. So, instead of spending 10 min in shower, I have to do 8min, then wait 5min for the system to recover and do the 2-3min left, all this time there are people waiting outside in lane, which is stupidly inefficient.
3. Pay pay pay for every possible parking.
With a discovery pass, I found myself having to reserve and pay for parking at both Grotto day use area and half log dump. They seem to have done it because it is "too popular" and to control the crowd, yet on a Friday afternoon in late June, I found myself crossing over only 4 groups peoples on the hiking trail between Grotto and Half Log Dump. Surprise, where are the people causing the overcrowd to justify collecting fees for all the parkings on top of the entrance fee?
Positive points: the staffs are nice, the Bruce trail is wonderful, the Grotto is fun to climb.

Great campgrounds in an ideal location in-between the town of Tobermory and Bruce Peninsula Park. Well kept and built grounds. We stayed comfortably in one of the cabins. The RV and tent sites are impressive with electric service in most. The gate is a good safety feature we enjoyed. Lots of big mature trees scattered around the property. Check in and out was a breeze and informative emails with directions, rules, and tips to get you prepared. Will definitely be back for another stay.

Very close to Grotto at a walking distance. The campsite was very clean and close to Cyprus lake. The washrooms are very well maintained and cleaned up regularly. We hiked until the Grotto and spent the entire day swimming and watching around. The sunset was very beautiful and we were lucky to have clear skies for star gazing at night.

The campground is noisy on the weekend but really tranquil Sunday to Thursday. Nearby Cypress Lake is perfect for a swim! Washrooms were clean. Buy firewood from the folks who live near the park. They advertise at the end of their driveways along highway 6. The wood sold at the campground is wet/green. Ice can be bought at the campground if you need more throughout your stay. Consider hiking to stormhaven or halfway log dump instead of the grotto, which is cool but really crowded.

Great camp ground, sites are spacious and distance between sites makes it feel a little more secluded. The site we had, 228, was very close to the lake and the trail that takes you to the Grotto in about 20-30 minutes depending on your pace. Good sized fire pit and a grill to put over the top if you want to cook over the fire. Two picnic tables and a good space for two, maybe even three 3 man tents. The toilets we're interesting in that they were composting, but had a flash system that stopped the smell coming back up.

Another peaceful, adventure filled stay! While we thoroughly enjoy our tent camping years at Harmony Acres, this year, due to the weather, we had to pack up the tent early. Luckily, we were able to rent one of their lovely little cabins. This will be our tradition from now on, and I think our days of tenting will be retired. The joy of sitting on the front porch, in an absolute downpour was simply magical. The cabin was so cozy with comfy beds. Our daughter loved her "loft" bed area. Thank you to Lorrie and staff for being so accommodating as always! We can't wait to return in 2024!

Harmony Acres is one of my favourite places to unwind and be in touch with nature. It truly is one of the only campgrounds we've been to that really care about the environment. The facilities are always well maintained, clean, and the overall atmosphere is always peaceful. We can't wait for our return trip this summer.....And those dark skies full of stars...Breathtaking! Nowhere like it on earth!

Another awesome, peaceful, stay! Creatures of habit, we always get the same campsite, and now it feels like home when we pull in.
This was the third year in a row for myself, husband and child, and we have never had a single issue with anything or anyone. The staff is always kind and courteous to us, the washrooms are always clean, and the shower spray smells like heaven lol! We'll be looking forward to our stay, and making more memories next year too.

Beautiful and quaint campgrounds. We are a family of three with a 4 year old and this place was perfect for us! It was pretty full, but it didn't feel busy, which was great. The attractions at the national parks are all within a five minute drive, and the amenities at the camprground are very well kept, clean, and easily accessible. The campsites are fairly private and set back in the trees a bit. We couldn't really see the people next to us because of the trees, and the people across the path are offset so they aren't right across from you. The staff were wonderful, and we absolutely loved our stay. We will definitely be going back for a longer duration next year.

Super clean and super quiet campground.
Pros : + very clean washrooms + good overall privacy + very super quiet (way more than average) + close to trail and lake .. Cons : - Our campsite was covered with gravel and dust - Firepit sucks - national park rangers are nazis (chill out dude, we're on vacation) - No showers

Easy access to trails and washroom was awesome for just a compost toilet and sink. Staff patrolled area to make sure people were keeping a bare campsite. Our neighbours didn't listen and unfortunately had a bear visit their campsite. They were very disrespectful of the rules and were loud at 230 am. When staff were contacted to be told of bear and kids I was hung up on. HOWEVER this did not ruin our experience. Our campsite was bare so the bear went right around us. The campsites are widely spaced so you have enough privacy to get away from the distractors. The back of Our campsite was heavily wooded which was very nice. Our campsite was large and allowed 3 structures and a vehicle. We stayed at campsite 250. Close to Cyprus lake for swimming and canoe rentals and Cyprus lake trail connects to all the other trails that lead to the main attractions of the park. I will go back :) firewood and ice are provided at cost at check-in.

The campground is very clean and enjoyable overall. Our site was big enough for 2 tents, and close to water tap and vault toilet. Each site has a fire pit and 2 picnic tables, which I liked. The trees are tall and dense around the camp site, so there's plenty of shades, but it was difficult to find an area to hang the tarp. There is no grass on the ground, which makes sleeping a bit uncomfortable, so I'd recommend bringing an extra sleeping bag to use as mattress. Besides a few chipmunks and squirrels, there weren't many other animals, which to me is a plus because while I like them I don't want to deal with them. The staff told everyone here to keep everything - food, containers, etc. - in the car as they might attract bears.

This is a great campground. Lots of shade tons of trees. Decent amount of privacy. If you really want to see thr grotto I heavily suggest getting a campsite here instead of praying for a parking spot.
