Came here to see Ron Trent DJ recently. It was a shambles.

The mixing from the engineer was way off, the sound went from if anything too bassy to almost non existent. Ron Trent even came on the mic to say that it was the venue limiting his output, I understand that venues have to comply with noise restrictions but the way in which it was done absolutely killed Ron’s set and everyone was left bewildered as to why the music had gone so quiet so suddenly.

I was really gutted by this as everything else about the night seemed to run smoothly. Staff were friendly. But the way the venue went about enforcing the noise limits was tragic to say the least.

I won’t be returning for any events here in future as I could have the same experience again.

A great, cozy venue for live music. Depending on the performance the room may be laid out with seating or be standing only. There is also a balcony at the rear of the venue that provides an additional viewing area. One of the better smaller venues in Manchester.
Fantastic live music spot in Manchester, a mere 15-minute stroll from the city center. The ambiance is fantastic, and the crowd engages enthusiastically with the musicians. Both drink prices and ticket rates are reasonable. The only drawback is the limited seating, which can be a bit tiring when standing for hours during the shows. 🎶

Nice venue on a busy street. I was here to see Tunde Bayeiwu from Lighthouse Family. The venue is small but compact, perfect for people that don’t like big crowds, plus you get more chance of getting close to the artists performing. There is also balcony if you want to watch from above. The venue is all standing, no sitting. The venue serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, and snacks.

There are some road parking in some of the side streets if you’re luck to find one. There is bigger parking lots around as well.

Went for a March of the Mods day in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust and it was a great place for it. There were several different bands on,each with a quick efficient turnaround, so hardly any waiting inbetween acts. A long day(2 till 11)so had one of their pizzas part way through, which was nice and not too expensive. A really good choice of beers, including a couple of real ales too, also not horrendously priced and the staff were great. A good night all round.

Band on the wall had a lit atmosphere. Got a wrist band upon entrance. Spacious and just the right place. The music volume was perfect & the bass was more than enough to set the vibe.

Their bar is well-priced. There’s a stage for the DJ/ performers. The lights were good but could be better.

First visit to this venue, I was very impressed. It’s in a good location in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
It’s a good space, sound and lighting is very good with a great choice of drinks at the bar. Staff are very efficient and as friendly as it’s possible to be when it’s a sellout concert!
Despite the concert being sold out, it didn’t feel overly crushed and we found plenty of space on the mezzanine level. Door staff / security were very polite too.
Brilliant my son really loves this place
Great home schooling resource
