I lost partial power production after Aug 24. I finally scheduled a tech visit after making sure it wasn't the weather or a rest breaker switch. The tech crew came in today Sept 11 and determined that one of the trunk cables burned out and replaced it. A very good experience.

With the current tax credits and DC's SREC system, it is a no-brainer to get solar if you can as it has never been cheaper. And if you do, Solar Solution is a great place to go.

Revolution Solar installed Solar Panels on my slate roof in fall 2022, after a few other installers said they wouldn't work with slate. The team gave transparent quotes, did all the paperwork for me, and completed the install quickly and to my satisfaction. (Without any cracked slate on my old roof!)

We had a Solar System installed by one of the larger Solar Installers five years ago and they said we could expand if we wanted later. When we wanted to expand that company would not deal with us for our 3.2 MW expansion. Revolution came through with flying colors so that now at the end of the year we will receive a check from BGE despite the addition of our electric car in the interim. Our electric car runs on sunshine powered by the solar system. The team at Revolution Solar has been great to work with.

Revolution Solar did an outstanding job installing over 40 panels on my flat roof. A leak appeared shortly after installation and they came the next day and repaired it. I highly recommend them. My electric bills are halved even when factoring in my monthly payment for my system. I advise anyone considering a system to own it. I made the mistake of going with the no upfront costs option. Understand the financing options before you sign. And ask if there is a backup battery option included.

RS installed my solar system in May and it was a fantastic experience. From the owner of the company to the installation crew, everyone was sharp, hard working, patient, and pleasant.

I'm a numbers guy so I checked many companies before choosing RS and and double-checked every calculation using government solar calculators. RS was spot on with every dollar and every Watt in their design.

I was particularly pleased by the attention to installation detail. The crew even painted the electrical conduit two different colors to match my siding and trim, making it nearly invisible.

Having Solar Panels really help our home.
It saves us on our electric bill, it also keeps the downstairs cooler in the summer.
We pay little to nothing bill.
But be mindful in order to save while using your air conditioner or heat.
You must set your thermostat to come on and off at a set time.
If we don't, we won't see the difference in our bill because we constantly turned it on and off.
Just a reminder about that setting your system for better results.
The Solar team are excellent from beginning to end. They constantly walk through step by step of the journey with no stress on you.

Ben and the City Renewables team were professional, quick and thoughtful in their approach to my solar project. The process to "go solar" includes many options (e.g. buy, lease, or finance the system; types of solar panels and SREC platforms and sales methods). It is important to have a solar company that will work through the various options and stages of the process. Ben and City Renewables were there start to finish, responsive to requests and always available to share knowledge and expertise. Ben will point out that installing solar in DC is not a one-day or one-week relationship between the customer and the installer, instead it is a few months from inception to operation. This is accurate and relevant. In addition, after the system is installed, the installer is the primary contact for the 20-25 year warranty period. Given the long-term relationship, you want someone like Ben and City Renewables that is be engaged, involved, responsive and helpful throughout. I highly recommend Ben and City Renewables.

Great work all around! The team at Solar Solutions was extremely professional and efficient in everything they did, from permitting in a historic district (normally a nightmare in DC), to optimizing the number of panels, to a quick and tidy installation that didn't even take a full day. Absolutely recommend them to anyone interested in solar for your DC home!

I would not reccomend because the customer is more important than their money. And the priorities of this company is the customer's money. They have poor communication skills scheduling with the customer & are subject to stop one project that may take 2 days and run to another and not return to the 1st job in which they started and stopped for sometimes months....
I strongly suggest, advise & forbid you to get solar somewhere somehow else.
1/10 this is how I would rate them and this is being modest.
Systems don't work or breakdown and maintenance repair is valued like the contract states they will come and fix any future problems....
