Wonderful restaurant. Food was very tasty, and the wine list is just stunning. Unexpected. Plus the staff is friendly and joyful. Highly recommended.

My recent visit to this place was rather disappointing. The gin and tonic I was served was substandard. A small amount of gin was presented in a plain water glass, without any botanicals or ice. The lack of these elements, which are essential for a well-made gin and tonic, was a disappointment, especially considering the high price of 21 francs. The atmosphere was further dampened by the music, which was depressing rather than relaxing. I would not recommend this bar, especially for expats with high standards. There are far better options in Zug that offer a more enjoyable and satisfying drinking experience.

The truffle tartar was awesome. I came back the next day to have it again.

Really disappointed, my dad loves this restaurant, and so I have been several times when visiting. It’s always been great but clearly they don’t need business.

We sat down at 11:45am and ordered a bottle of wine and a bottle of water. By 12:00am, the drinks had not arrived, and we asked for our food order to be taken. The waiter walked straight past our table, and went and asked another table who had sat down after us (and had drinks). The other table, thankfully asked him to take our order first.

Once the waiter had finally (with attitude) came to take our order, we asked where the drinks were. He said that we had only ordered our drinks 3-4 minutes ago as his ‘colleague had just told him’. We said we had been waiting 15 minutes. Instead of apologizing he argued back and said ‘if you are not willing to wait then you can go somewhere else’. We had only (politely) asked where the drinks were, and this conversation lasted about 2 minutes.

At this point he stormed off, so we left, and went to another place.

They clearly don’t need the business, but this wasn’t a busy time for them, there were only 5 other tables sat outside, and no one inside. It’s a real shame as we have enjoyed it in the past.

I cannot rate the food as we did not eat. But the Italian across the road was lovely :)

Great place, great food and excellent service. We sat outside and it was very quiet, despite being very close to the city center. The indoor seating area looks pretty amazing too.

Especially nice during the day with the overview onto the lake!

We went to this restaurant for a late lunch and ordered a burrito and empanadas. Don't expect a very high quality, it seems they use mainly frozen ingredients, and the quantity of food is quite poor for what you pay.

Decided to celebrate my birthday here. Food, drinks and decor were great. The service - not so much. The girl sat us in the corner of the restaurant and ignored us for most of the night, it has been a nightmare trying to get her attention. Not sure I will be coming back.

Place has a good atmosphere, is nicely designed. Service however was awfully unattentive. Took us more effort to get their attention than keeping the conversation going.

Food was very plain, didn’t feel the seasoning, 0 Mexican cuisine.. please don’t get the share plate since it feels like frozen food from a supermarket. The place is maybe good to have some drinks and talk to friends, but never for food.

Food tasted plain, no spices, no extra sauce on the side so you could spice it up by yourself. Even cheese didn’t tasted like cheese. It tasted like nothing. The only thing that was spiced up was guacamole… with sugar. Seems like person who’s running this restaurant doesn’t know anything about the food. Especially Mexican. When the manager was informed that we didn’t like the food, because it was disgusting she did literally nothing. Not even come up to us and ask why we feel this way. Customer service is poor to say at least.

A very welcoming place to enjoy your day. The personal is very nice and take care of all the guests and they make sure that people are happy. The drinks are very tasty and it has a big variety of tartar that will definitely satisfy every taste. The quality of the meat and the fish they are using is really good but also their veggie tartar has nothing to jealous of the others. A place that you should definitely visit,

Beautiful rooftop view for drinks, but sometimes we have felt unwelcome. Not always the friendliest.

Sehr nette Location, wenn man sich mit Freunden trifft.
Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an Weinen und sonstigen Getränken.
Eine kleine, aber feine Speisekarte erfreut den Gaumen.
Hier wirst du schnell und sehr freundlich bedient.
Die Bar ist gut zu erreichen und liegt recht zentral.
Parkplätze in der Nähe könnten schwierig werden.

What a delightful surprise - Lebanese brunch in the middle of Switzerland. We are a group that meets for brunch once a month and Secret Garden had us ooohing and aaaahing. For CHF38 per person we had more food then we could finish - omelette, hummus, herbed yogurt, chickpeas, breads, pastries, cheese, honey, and homemade jam. The service is very friendly and accommodating. We ate in the lovely garden. Just when we finished eating it started to rain heavily so we moved inside to the cozy lounge. Wherever we went, we felt comfortable and well cared for. 👍👍👍

The chicken wings were not as I thought they would be. Not delicious. Fries was good. I recommend to take Chicken Fingers and the very delicious homemade Ice Tea.

An unique atmosphere that gives you the possibility to enjoy every single moment spent in this amazing place. Very delicious food and 5*hospitality. Super friendly staff. We really enjoyed our night and 100 % we will be back very soon.

Wonderful view looking into Lake Zug. A beautiful sight at sunset. Lots of drinks on their list. Gets quiet hot in the summer. Charming staff.

a great place to go especially early in the week... be warned it's one of the few bars in zug where smoking is still legally permitted... however, that's no big deal in summer as there is a terrase where you can drink and watch the sun go down over the lake with the alps in the background...

Lovely setting, very friendly staff, great wine and the food (while we didn’t have any), looks really good - great looking meat plate, beef tartare, etc. Comfortable seating even on bar stools with cushions and foot rests (and hooks under bar for bags).

Always a selection of excellent open wines by the glass. Wines are changing regularly and get well chosen in collaboration with a local wine dealer. And good and simple food to accompany the wine. One of my preferred places in town.

After I've been served a beer and joined by other colleagues 10 min later, they have been refused in a very rude way. Was closing time!? All the drinks comes out of the bar without being registered in the cashier. No receipt!

Innovative menu, great service, patio seating for casual dining, with more upscale bar and restaurant inside. I had the shrimp fajitas. The shrimp was cooked to delicate perfection. Hubby had carne asade. Great flavors! We have also had the burritos and though spendy, bursting with unique flavor combos.
