I ordered on the app and the service was very quick! I think it took about 10 minutes to arrive.
The quality of the food reflected the price. The only negative was that the table needed a wipe before I arrived.

Spent Saturday night . DJ played some great tunes from 80’s all way to recent. Door men and security was very helpful. Ladies in bar serving was both friendly and welcoming . Lunch was lovely too
Beautiful Sunday carvery! The beef was so tender and a great selection of vegetables. Wonderful price. My ONLY compkaint was that I couldn't eat it it all lol. I will recommend this place. We have had breakfast here on another occasion and that was great too. Well done to all the hard working staff. See you next season.
Out for a day trip with a friend and called in for a fish and chip lunch. The food was really good and the service excellent. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly and the waitress was really helpful and very pleasant. We will definitely come back here for lunch when in Skegness for the day up.

Gave 3 stars for food as it looked nice and plenty of people eating but I didn't so cannot really judge. Staff were very nice and polite,fast service. Clean toilets and nice outside area in a very busy area,couldn't even get in the 2 pubs a bit further up

1st time going in here was packed on a Saturday in September, we didn't have food but from looking at other people's plates it looked nice and fresh, will be going back in a few weeks to have a carvey, the views were lovley in there and the staff were friendly
Best pub in Skeg by far. No, make that the country. You simply won't find cheaper beer or food of this quality elsewhere. But most of all is how friendly everyone is. An absolute crime if the character of this wonderful place ever changes.
3 of us went for a Sunday Carvery and it was Outstanding. When I went up to fetch the Carverys the chef was perfect and the waitress I would like to thank so much she helped me bring the plates to the table outside. Also the price is reasonable as well and another point about the waitress she left the table with a smile and was thanked by all 3 of us who went for the carvery.
We visited here on Sunday 1/9/24 we really enjoyed our Sunday Carvery & drinks, they were lovely. We sat in the outside pod with dog. The pods are lovely and comfortable. The staff were friendly and excellent.
We were quite surprised at how shabby the interior has become, definitely in need of cleaning and upgrading. The food was tasty and plentiful, but my husband became poorly the same evening with stomach cramps. It's a shame as the service was great.

Wasn't particularly busy when we went (Tues 20th Aug) The tables were all dirty . We ordered our food - my husband ordered fish and chips - it got sent back as there was no fish - just a lump of batter !!! ( we were refunded that) I had a cheeseburger and chips - see photo - it was dire !!! Should have gone to McDonald's!!!
A really great little calm quiet pub. The attached amusements were great and safe. The only downside was the toilets, the smell of urine made my eyes water. Such a let down for a fabulous pub.
Friendly staff, delicious food, amazing prices. We walked in from the promenade and had a family meal here. There was something for everyone. 3 of us chose roast dinners, which were really tasty. Our 10 year old had minute steak with chips, and we asked for peas on the side. This was from the snacks and light meals menu and it was a substantial portion for him. All of this plus 4 non-alcoholic drinks was £30.30. Highly recommend!
Always loads of staff on. Bingo is brilliant. Loyalty card system gets you 10% off everything for about a tenner, I've had mine a few years and it paid for itself many times over
Extremely disappointed today 04/07/2024, been Twice so far so this week Monday 01/07/24 & Wednesday 03/07/24 me and my wife had the 2 meals for £12 and was really nice, both times my wife had the fish with mushy peas and it wasn't a problem but today the girl behind the bar said that we were not allowed to have the mushy peas that it wasn't an option on the 2 meals for £12, how can it change in just 24 hours. What ever happened to the customer is always right? We asked to speak to the manager but was told that there was no manager on duty today which is hard to believe. This was our favourite place to come and have a nice meal every time we came to Skegness but not anymore!! Will definitely NOT be going back to the Welcome inn. Such a disappointment!😡😡
Just had a few days away at Winthorpe, came across the lookout pub, what a little find.... Very pleasant, food was always good, staff were brilliant, bent over backwards to help. And dog friendly to. Will definitely be coming back.....
Alright place but it does seem like the lasagna isn’t freshly made. It does taste nice but the meat is dry so it’s either over cooked or it was cooked then froze to cook. Plus it was quite small portion. Rather had more lasagna than chips. You get lots of chips with your meals which taste good. There’s a server that’s very lovely guy compared to the woman. Place does need a deep clean tables are super sticky and aren’t cleaned up often. Meals come out quick. But you don’t get ice in your drinks
Absolutely amazing, we came as a group of 8 and were seated in about 10-15 minutes. Cannot fault the staff at all. The price of the carvery was around £8 which for the quality is so good, easily the best carvery I’ve had probably ever. We live up in the North East and plan on coming down again just for a carvery.

Food comes cold. You get a portion of chips for a 3 yr old. Lasagna was just a small strip. Chicken tikka had small man bread poppadom tasted like paper. Food comes out fast but most likely microwaves. The rice defo came out of a container as it was clumped together and freezing cold. The tikka was like warm the spice is the only heat you can get. The burgers were alright. Not worth the money. Under £70 for 5 drinks and 5 meals for cold small portions. The plates are hotter than the meal
Quite empty for a wednesday night in Witson week ? Burgers ok , fish not bad , however " steak & gravy pie" wasn't sure if it was gammon / pork or some scraps of steak ... veg like bullets & mash still had powder in it ( not stirred properly) couldn't use gravy to soak it up as like custard with thick skin . No staff around to check meal ok
So much nicer inside than out, lovely atmosphere at 3.30 pm for a late lunch. Food was lovely and fresh, and very reasonably priced. Great friendly service, everyone had a good time. Dog friendly.
Walked a few miles to get here, they do great coffee and food was nice . Not sure what I was expecting but a bit disappointed, not much there and apart from a not particularly great view of the sea not really sure what the point of the place was unless I missed something. Place is dog friendly and there is a seating area outside.
Can't say anything about the food as by time I got there food had stopped. It wasn't the reason for my visit anyway I went for bingo. Drinks very reasonably priced and a great atmosphere downstairs packed to the rafters with people wanting to play. Fantastic place, clean tidy toilets clean presentable it's a winner for me.

Fantastic place to go for a meal and a drink, very reasonable especially the mini carvery so cheap excellent definitely recommend to anyone.

However, when it comes to the food, I was left underwhelmed. The prices for typical pub fare were higher than expected, and unfortunately, the quality didn't match. The pizza I ordered had a tough base and an overpowering cheese flavor, leaving much to be desired. My partner's "small" steak was ridiculously tiny, not what we're accustomed to for a steak portion. The so-called "Hot Burger" lacked heat and flavor, with minimal extra toppings despite an additional charge.
On a positive note, the kids' meals were enjoyable and appropriately portioned. Overall, The Jolly Fisherman is okay at best, more suited for drinks than dining. While I'll return for the friendly staff and beverages, I'll be actively avoiding the food in the future.

First visit to The Boat House.
Popped in for a full English, wasn’t disappointed. Excellent breakfast, food was very good & cooked perfectly, just like your mama’s.
Two full English breakfast options, large & Medium. Plenty of alternative options available.
Coffee was also very nice. Worth every penny .

Was recommended by my children who work at Butlins - great little. pub, prices very reasonable. Being at butlins its very easy to fall in the tourist trap, but the Boathouse is great.
Did not have the food but it looked good and plenty of people were eating, Good selection of alcoholic drinks and priced great, I got 5 x pints for around £20. Good entertainment and plenty of novelty decor.

Only visited to have a look around, what an awesome place, spoke to the owner very nice lad. Plan to go back at the next event
Absolutely an amazing venue, had the best experience, family travelled up from Kent and said you can't beet the venue, the buffet is the best we have ever had and Gary and Barbara were just amazing at what

Always drop in for one when in Skeg every bank holiday, music always good, drinks reasonable, maybe we hit it wrong, but it's always empty? I often wonder if in the wrong place, do folk even know it's here 🤔
The boathouse was the restaurant area of the southview park dean resort. The service and staff were good. The food did take long but the drinks came out very fast. The atmosphere was lovely with beautiful decor.
Decided to have lunch here , menu was reasonable . Was presented with a burger that looked lonely without salad , a small ramekin of chips ( frozen generic type ). Expecting better but unfortunately let down .

We came here and were able to stay overnight in our van 😊 the staff were brilliant, so friendly and welcoming! We had a meal which was really lovely. It was a Saturday so the wait on the food was a while however the restaurant was very busy so it was expected! We will be returning on our travels 😊
Nice pub serving good food at a great price. No complaints from 4 people who normally find fault with something. It’s very dog friendly and that’s the main reason we chose the place in the first place.
Went to a northern soul night, the venue was fantastic, the drinks and food where very reasonable, the atmosphere was brilliant, the staff were great very helpful, very clean, could not fault the place
OMG - this place has loads of room inside and out - staff are friendly and the food is sooooo good !! look at the onion ring stack ! they are the best i've had in a long long time - great food guys, we'll be seeing you again, thankyou 👍

The bar maid was really friendly and very polite. I was looking for ages for a pub where my dog is allowed and i saw her outside collecting glasses and asked her, she gave my dog water and only charge me a pound for some sausage. Will be visiting again.

Went in for a visit before we went to our Caravan park and got a few drinks. Prices for the drinks were reasonable and the seating both inside and out was large with a bouncy castle area for the kids, unfortunately on our visit 2 of the bouncy castles were not working. The drinks we got were some Cokes and 2 slushies the coke was fine but the slushies tasted off and the kids didn't like them very much. However, friendly staff quick service and what looks like a good food menu.

Been meaning to try the carvery here for years. Finally had one today, very fresh and well cooked vegetables the beef melted in your mouth. It's help yourself and it's served between 11.45am - 16.00.. Also dogs welcome.
