We didn't order food from there, drinks r good, the atmosphere is amazing. U will definitely have a great time!!! Good music
If you are looking for a local dive bar , this is the place to be. Drinking and enjoying a drink doesn't have to break the bank. This is a must for any locals
My first time here. Sangria was nice. Table side guacamole was excellent! My skirt steak was delicious, and cooked to perfection ,, I had Tres Leche cake for the first time. It was incredible! I highly recommend this place for authentic Mexican cuisine!
Saw a person coming out of this bar today get in his car and take off from a Patchogue code officer who was issuing a ticket to his vehicle. The code officer hit his horn clearly telling him he wasn’t free to leave yet and he drove off anyway. Guy left his dog in his car and dog looked like it was ready to pass out. I was the one who flagged the officer down after seeing his dog suffering inside of the car. Apparently the people who go to this bar don’t have any respect for authority, or for animals. Hope the village shuts down this place soon. As a Patchogue taxpayer this place is a toxic establishment in our village and would be better fitted in Hempstead.
Typically a fan of this restaurant. But they completely botched my door dash order today. Barely got my money back from door dash for the meal that was wrong and im out 10 dollars on the tip. Food went in the trash
Great little spot for some tacos and quesadillas. Our server was friendly and the food was good. We have visited this place a few times and it's our go-to for a quick bite. Recommended.
Get a curtain for the men’s bathroom. Some men want privacy. For anyone, but for not everyone, yeah ok. You’re wasting your money on a port-a potty instead of getting a curtain. Not asking for a door. A curtain. The owner has money to keep this place running, then he can get a a CURTAIN. Not trans male friendly with bathrooms. Also, GIRLS DO COKE IN THE BATHROOM too and they still have a door. This place is a joke. I’m going to the catch :)

BEWARE!!!!!!!! This place served by 13 year old daughter Alcohol and had no apology/remorse/sympathy! A family of 3 dinner for my daughter’s birthday on a Tuesday night, with only about 10 ppl at the restaurant in total (completely empty). (Started ordering our drinks first) We asked the waiter for a Virgin piñata colada, and she said they don’t make frozen drinks, but she can have any drink on the menu and they won’t add liquor. Sure enough, she brings the drink, my daughter is drinking it and says, “Mom, I think this has alcohol in it”! I take a sip, and OMG!!!! 1800! The amount of liquor in that drink!!!! I called her over, and she gives us an attitude and says she can take it back. I asked her at this point to speak to the manager, because she got very rude and nasty! She goes over to the manager (sitting at the bar) and is talking to him for quite awhile before he comes over. I tell him what happened (of course she completely changed the story, but there’s a total of 5 witnesses). My family at this point got up and left, because the manager said and did nothing! I will NEVER eat here again!
We were out at a Drs appointment and they ordered from there so we decided to have lunch there. Very welcoming, and plenty of food. I only gave the rating because I'm limited due to lactose free and gluten free restrictions. I requested a change on the food they brought me out which I told them no cheese they brought it back correctly but it was dried hard to eat and not tasty. I was hoping for a popping party in my mouth menu. I'll go back another time. But my friend thoroughly enjoyed her 🍜

This place was beautiful, a lot of fun. Was here for a music and art festival over the weekend. Will definitely be back to watch more live shows.
This is a very beautiful place n staff are very welcoming. The atmosphere is of old Spanish, Mexican style uniquely beautiful. was there to celebrate my birthday with my family portion sizes were very generous staff replenished nachos service was very quick would definitely return to this hidden gem again their flan that they gave me my birthday served me in the restaurant was very fresh. The one I took home, had a bit of a fishy taste not sure if that’s normal was my first time ever having flan, other than that the restaurant is amazing as well as staff prices were reasonable on beyond was welcoming, would return again.
Great dinner spot. Service fast but intermittent. They charge for soda refills. Kids menu is spendy. Steak and chicken fajitas were excellent
The food was very good everything came out great. The service however was lacking. Waiter took a very long time to get to our table so we could order more drinks and ask for boxes / the check. Walked past our table several times before finally getting to us.
Excellent venue! Laid out to perfection and the sound system was superb. I got a chance to meet the owners. Great people!!! I definitely recommend the spot.

The burgers were not that great. The sweet potato fries were the only thing good. The two dips they gave us were horrible. My husband described them as sweet playdo
This place is the best bar on the east end, it's a place where you can be yourself with great staff with an amazing upbeat atmosphere where you can play pool, shoot darts, great dancing music and just great people all around!!!!!!!!

It is a big place, for $50 ring side seats to see wresting . It was fun, but not to bring your kids more for the adults. The first time going it was a different experience

My wife and I popped in yesterday expecting just to have a couple of soft drinks but our server Nick told us about the fantastic happy hour deals. We couldn't resist getting the jumbo pretzel and mozzarella sticks for an insanely good price! The food was fantastic and Nick was a great guy, very attentive and had good banter with us. We'll definitely be back!
This place is ok for dinner - just okay. We went on Saturday with a 7:00pm reservation for 6 people, not packed or busy. Music was too loud to have a conversation so we spent the entire time saying "what?" to each other. Ordered 2 kids meals of chicken fingers which were listed as $12 including side, drink and dessert. We were charged $13 each at the end of the night, and were charged for $3 each for the kids drinks. And they were the rubber hockey puck chicken fingers that even kids don't really like. Fries were basic and didn't even have salt on them. The adults at the table has steak, IPA crispy chicken, and Mac & Cheese. Steak was good. Chicken was bland - like zero flavor, not bad, just boring. Brussel sprouts - same, bland and boring. Mac and Cheese we asked for no bread crumbs, came with bread crumbs. Bacon in mac and cheese was rubbery and undercooked. Mashed potatoes were real mashed potatoes, just minus any seasoning at all - like potatoes, butter, milk, done. The waiter was very nice, but it was kind of slow service as we were there for almost 2 hours, which is only a concern because you have to pay to park in Patchogue, so you are playing beat the meter. Overall - bland food, slower service, check your bill before paying to ensure you are not getting overcharged. Not terrible, just not great or stand out.
Cool place. We’ve been there a couple times with really good live music. It gets packed because it’s so small. Great selection of beer and wine.

I've gone to Burgerology multiple times, including my birthday, and the vibes, the food, the drinks, and the service is amazing. However, despite the incredible music from the DJ, it is on the louder side. This leaves a lot of room for miscommunication between the patron and the servers. Almost all the times I've gone, something was wrong with my food. Don't get me wrong, it was still delicious, but they either give me the wrong patty, or the wrong fries, or the wrong sauce, or something is missing from my order. If they fixed the sounds of the music a little bit, this would be completely resolved.

Cute restaurant, outside seating and a bar crowd as well. Happy hour drinks Monday - Friday til 6. Big menu. We were happy with our app and meals. Definitely plan to go back.
The seasonal Apple Margherita with a cinnamon rim was very tasty. They gave chips and salsa upon seating and the rest of the food was delicious. Nice atmosphere and the service was great. Will definitely return soon.
I have been looking for a Gay bar in Suffolk County and once I read that you have no door on the men's room and you have free drinks for women it was an immediate decision not to venture into a bigoted public establishment. Free drinks to draw in women, denying men free drinks and no door for the men's bathroom is sexist and most likely against the law. This sounds like a sleezy pick-up joint.
Great food! The staff was friendly and efficient. The drinks were amazing! We had shrimp po boys for lunch and they were quite tasty. Plenty of space to eat both outdoors and inside. Plenty of parking.

i really wanted to like this place but unfortunately it was not up to expectations. the servers were nice but the cleanliness was something we worried about. we found a bug in our drink, and in the bathroom there was mold. the chicken in what we ordered tasted unseasoned and gross. also the chips were stale. overall it was a disappointing experience and will not be going back…

I ordered the Maine lobster for take out and was blown away at how fresh it really tasted. It was so delicious! I had it steamed and was truly savoring every bite. I appreciated how easy they made it for me in getting the lobster meat inside the shell without using any lobster utensils. Their service was very good too!
Take your business somewhere else. Dress code is lunacy. You can be dressed presentable and still not let in. I’ve had less dress code rules from major nightclubs in Manhattan. Place is not worthy of a dress code, if you have been inside you know. Not to mention the rules don’t make sense. Bouncers get off on being discriminatory and it’s a power trip for them. Plenty of other awesome bars in the area who don’t do this. I advise to take your business somewhere else. I went to James Joyce once a few years ago had an awesome time, but after experiencing that, I will never go back. Stay away!
Best crab lobster bisque I've ever tasted! Clams and oysters were great, lobster roll was wonderful.

As a Virginian visiting LI, a trip to LI isint complete without having at least one Long Island Iced Tea and the one at The Oar always hits right. For appetizers, the baked clams and fried calamari was absolutely delicious. Each one of our seafood entrees were fresh and full of flavor. And the service is always excellent.

It was a quiet sunday, just what we were looking for. The food was delicious, and the service was fast and friendly.
Absolutely loved the environment of this bar. The black light atmosphere with neon paint on the walls gives a fun vibe! I met up with 2 friends and got 3 drinks.

First time here and definitely won't be the last. Our server was fabulous, we sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful summer day. The pretzel was incredible and my lobster roll was fabulous. Nice chunks of lobster. Also at our table was scallops and shrimp over linguine. That was delicious as well. My only complaint was the soda, it was flat bar gun soda. But certainly did not ruin the experience. Looking forward to going back!

Came back from Watch hill and hoped for a good seafood dinner... I had the fish and chips and my wife had the calamari, good portion but BURPED THE 0LD FRYING OIL FOR HOURS, yes both of us, we had taken some home but threw it all out as we did not want a repeat of this terrible greasy experience. Very expensive and could not even come close to the quality of Love fins food truck at Watch Hill (29.00 at Oar vs 19.95 at food truck) Will NOT return!!!

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our waiter was attentive. The atmosphere is great, right on the water. Open, light. Two critiques: I needed a new glass because it was dirty. The food was decent, sauce was a little watery but good. Dessert was delicious, better than the entree. I’d go back and try something different maybe for lunch instead of dinner.
Best of everything! Fantastic location. Came here on a Friday around 7 to celebrate daughters college graduation. The food was unbelievably amazing, drinks were on point! Scenery, breathtaking service FIVE STARS!! I’ll definitely be coming back again.

Beautiful atmosphere, it's not quite summer yet so it was too breezy to eat outside so I ate at their very nice bar. Even inside you feel like you're outside. Baked clams to start, lots of clam and other yummy things in those, excellent. Soft shell crab avocado sandwich was the bomb, plenty of avocado and crab, see picture. Oar fries were so good I took what I didn't finish home so my kids could try them.
Love the layout and atmosphere. I really liked the high backed bench seating, Just makes the meal feel alot more private. Food was top notch. The beer cheese and gigantic pretzel were excellent. It's probably the freshest calamari I have ever had. The joyce burger was juicy flavorful and the toppings were overflowing . Drinks were poured nice ans strong. Our server Stephanie was attentive and gave great recommendations. excellent service all around
Good food. Burger came out incredibly fast. Bartenders were friendly and alert. Music was very loud for a Tuesday evening, was little hard to hear them, but that didn’t didn’t subtract from the experience. Was in town for business. Will come back next time I’m on LI.
I can't say enough! We had an event at the Oar last night and the they were on their A- game! Anything we needed, Donna was there in a snap. She had a solution for every speed bump I hit while setting up and a smile on her face the whole time. I've never been to their resteraunt or catering hall before and we took our chances. So glad we did! The scenery around the catering hall building wasn't great, but everything else was. I'm sure the resteraunt had a nice view, it's right in the water. We'll definitely be back for the resteraunt, and we highly recommend the catering hall
New spot for me and a friend to try out. The food was good, I had the short ribs... great, she had the crab legs delicious! Drinks were good. The 1st one was sent back, but my Starburst was amazing! I can't wait to try in the summer for outside seating.
The view from this place is amazing. We had lunch while looking at the clear blue sky and the harbor where boats were parked. The food was good and so was the service. Its a bit of a drive to get their, but definitely worth the trip. Prices are usual and not fancy. The number of drinks they serve are also larger than the other places around.

We came on Valentine's Day. It was busy, but very well managed. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time considering how many tables needed to be taken care of.
Our server Nelson was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my paella and the Tres Leche cake.

Place is awesome. I went on Dec 9 seen life of Agony madball and like two more bands. The bar is great very friendly staff. Definitely hope I can catch more bands there.
Good local spot small and dark with Awsome arcade set up. Usually can find some live music going on.. small beer selection no food
This is a great local bar!! You feel right at home the moment you sit down. Small with history all over the walls. Definitely has a great vibe to it. Light Snacks available. Customers are allowed to bring in food from the neighboring restaurants and continue drinking and enjoying 😉
A great Tex Mex experience in NY. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Victoria is a gem of a server, very good at checking on me, but not bothersome, she let me chill and take my time

Beans had a nice fire to them. The salsa was not my favorite, had almost a bbq flavor to it, prefer more of a fresh pico style personally.

Came at 5:30pm on a Friday afternoon and was seated for an outside seat immediately. Coconut martini and rum punch was very good. Coconut martini could’ve used a little more liquor though. Mojito was not good at all, too much seltzer not enough mint or strawberry flavor. Octopus appetizer was good not rubbery at all. Grilled salmon was nice the noodles were cold but I didn’t complain because I feel like it went well with the salmon. Cod fish was good as well, mash potatoes tasted like it had a bit too much milk in it and lacked salt and pepper. I would come again.
Used to love this bar but came back after a while and there were roaches crawling all over the walls. My boyfriend and I counted at least 5 of them on the wall next to our table within the hour that we stayed there. I felt so uncomfortable we ended up leaving early, which was a shame because it’s such a cozy place and holds special memories for us. Don’t go there if you don’t want to see roaches!
Very good overall experience. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating which is great during the summer months. They have an extensive cocktail and drink menu. Their burgers are a little on the pricey side in my opinion however they are really good. Family friendly spot. Great service. I have eaten here many times and plan on going back for more.
Was a cool spot, much bigger than it seems from the outside, 2 bars and plenty of room for seating and standing during the live entertainment. Nice green wall by the entrance for pics too! Went there to see Familiar Faces perform, they were pretty good!
This is a great venue. Lots of space inside, multiple bars, a balcony area. It reminds me of The Paramount. Big enough to host big name bands, but small enough to get close to the band if you want. If your favorite band is playing here - go.
I went here just for dessert and ordered the warm apple cobbler with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. But, this place is huge, great place to eat and I will plan on going back for lunch or dinner. There is on street parking and a town parking lot close. Bathrooms are very clean. The staff are very professional and friendly.

A fun dive bar with a mixed crowd. Friday night when we went it was free drinks for ladies 8pm - 10pm. They had a dj and all. It was a lot of fun. They have a pool table to be played with a nice mannequin dressed up above the pool table that is hilarious. The men's bathroom is dark but looked better that the original ply wood with writing everywhere and jail cell like with no stall walls. The bartenders are very nice and love to have fun with the customers. Many regulars you can see going there.
Food was delicious and filling. The classic guacamole was spot on. The beef brisket enchiladas were full of flavor. And I LOVE their mocktails.
Spent a day exploring Patchogue with my girlfriend and this was a stand out spot. The vibe was more familiar to Brooklyn where we live. Very nice staff and great bar snacks. My lady got the nachos and I got the sardines. We were going to get food down the block but it was too pricey for no good reason. This place was just right for a snack and a decent selection of beers. Close to the train station as well.
Perfect combination of a hipster bar and a dive bar. Beer selection is on point. I had their gin cocktail "bee's knees" and its divine. Small bar eats - apps and a couple sandwiches - not a big food variety, but perfect bar food. Definitely recommend!

Excellent drinks, foods and appetizers! Our weekly go to place for a great meal every time. Always crowded, but so worth the wait. Best burrito in town, and believe it or not my absolute favorite burger and fries. Don't knock it till you've tried it. Promise you will agree 😊🥑🌮🍔🍹
