Food is amazing! One of the best Michelin restaurant we’ve visited. Highly recommended to order Pigeon🥰🥰

Wine list is extensive, but I must say the price is on the higher side too.

Lovely place with very friendly staff. The pastries and cakes were so good I’d definitely come back here if I had time.
It was close to our hotel and we ate our gelato there 2 times. It was delicious and the price was very very good. We paid 5€ for 3 scoops. Very nice place.

I walked into this meal with an open mind after reading various mixed reviews, and feel compelled to write my own. For context, I've cooked professionally & travelled globally, So let's break it down

Atmosphere - sterile and boring. Lighting it far too bright and chatter or opportunity to interact with other diners is very subdued. On a side note a we had a couple sitting next to us who were on 1st name basis with management. The wife chose to answer her loud ringing phone during dinner and engage in a loud conversation. I call this out as clearly the restaurant either has mixed standards for fine dining or money is a motivating factor.

Service - I'd rate it as on par with a 2-3 star restaurant, this was the highlight. But only 1 of the staff engaged with us, meaning actually listed and conversed without make us feel like we were wasting their time.

Food - this is where everything falls down. We selected the tasting menu and there was a single dish that we thought excellent, everything else was blah. Every dish lacked texture, making us wonder if the food was prepared for babies. I'd rate many Non Michelin and 1-2 star restaurants well above Enoteca for excellent/inspired food. How this place achieves 3 stars is beyond me. During our trip we experienced two examples that I'd rate well above. In the upside they did recommend the GF menu right away.

Wine Pairing - maybe there was a language barrier, we felt it lacked inspiration and no attempt was made to explain why they matched certain wines & he was so soft spoken that I had to ask repeatedly for him to repeat the name of the wine. On the plus side, they don't charge by the glass but instead by the number wines you select, and they proactively refill your glass. This element is pretty good value.

Cost - we did not experience the upsell pressure others speak off, but for what we enjoyed...yeah I agree there is little justification for the price

At the end of the day, I'd encourage readers of this review to skip and explore many other options for a great meal and experience.

Went for dinner because the reviews and pictures seemed good and wasn’t disappointed. Full of American students though but I didn’t mind as they set the atmosphere. Somehow managed to go on a pub quiz night so was a bit hectic in a good way. Got a burger and was delicious and prices wasn’t too bad either. The two waiters I had were both friendly and funny and quick to take my order or ask if everything was going well. Would recommend if your looking for a nice American vibed restaurant for a good burger and beer!
Currently closed (Feb 2024) and no info on the website or on google. The ice cream may be great, but it is not respectful of clients (I wasted 1h just to walk to this area just for trying the ice cream). Two stars overall and one for the service, I may revisit the score once I finally get to try it.
Great environment, kind owner, and good prices! The bomboloni was excellent (as was the spritz!) - great place to stop by.
Schade!

We booked a gelato making class in the last minute with Signor Bondi and it turned out to be one of the best things we did in Firenze! Signor Bondi was so kind, warm and friendly with our kids, like a grandpa! We enjoyed listening to the history of gelato making and the difference between gelato and ice-cream; very educative! The gelato fragola was absolutely delicious; we loved it!!
The food looks super simple but has traditional fresh Italian quality with fair prices. Definitely try the small pizza. The cappuccino is amazing and the staff is very friendly.
Titolare fantastico!

The only Michelin 3 stars rated restaurant in Florence. I would only give it a high 2 stars and low 3 stars. Cooking is not bad but not exceptional. The fish we ordered were too salty and need to change. When I made the booking already stated we do not like cheep or goat cheese ingredients but it was still presented in the welcome small bites. This kind of mistake is not acceptable for a 3 stars restaurant. When complaint about the saltyness of the fish, we did not get an apology before explaining the possible cause. The grand cellar is an eye opening and this is a big credit to the Michelin stars. All in all, a famous restaurant to try but cooking can be improved.

We really wanted to like Enoteca Pinchiorri, but we felt it fell short especially being a 3 Michelin star restaurant.

Here's what we did like about it:
1) They were able to accommodate us when I had the reservation date wrong.
2) Service was good and they're quick to cater to you

Here's where we thought it went wrong:
1) Water has its own menu starting at 10 euros per bottle
2) We were only impressed by the first couple and the last couple times on the tasting menu (the rest were not bad just not a wow factor)
3) Money spent and value received was severely imbalanced.

It's nice to cross it off the list. We were definitely expecting more out of our first Michelin 3 stars, but things don't always work out.

This was my 29th Michelin star restaurant. Did it live to its name? In my opinion, no.

Service was subpar, seems like they are trying to upsell everything, from very overpriced bottles, water, to cheese and €100+ white truffle addition.

Dishes lack a common thread to keep them together to form a cohesive story. The staff wasn’t well prepared to elaborate on the dish’s creation story (at least in English). For a 3 star restaurant, I expected more.

Timing of the dishes was parsed very apart, to a point that I almost fell asleep (I was dining alone). No one walked up to me to chat or ask how I was doing/ where I was visiting from.

In general, it felt like a show where you paid for the name brand and the script but the casts were all understudies.

We’re struggling a bit with this one. We’ve been to many Michelin star restaurants, but this was our first experience with 3 stars. The food was incredible, but we really did not enjoy the overall experience. And for the price you pay, that’s hard to reconcile with.

I’ll start with the food. Nothing bad to say here. Multiple dishes had you saying “wow” as you take a bite. The menus are very well designed and the portions are pretty respectable. If you have the option, you have to try the veal chop - I’m still dreaming about it.

Now on to the experience. It’s a bit stuffy and pretentious. Look, you’ve got 3 stars, you can do that. It just wasn’t for us. The dining room is extremely bright and it’s almost silent. It’s like every table is afraid to make any noise because of how you’ll be perceived. Hard to describe the overall feeling, but it definitely wasn’t an enjoyable or welcoming environment.

The staff was certainly nice, but you’ll notice a lot of reviews mentioning that they constantly up-sell you. They’re right. They come to your table often trying to get you to spend more and then look down upon you if you turn it away. Again, just not for us.

Last thing here - the price. Again, you’ve got 3 stars, you can charge whatever you want. BUT - every single aspect needs to be perfect, and I can’t say that here. It’s pricey. Like, €120 per dish. Not going to dwell on this too much, we just didn’t feel good about the value we were getting. To each their own…

I’d still recommend coming here, just do a bit of your own research first.

The best burger we had in our recent trip to Trieste, Florence and Rome. The fact that the meat is freshly ground and grilled on real charcoal is what made it amazing. You can have it rare if you wish! Thanks guys.
It’s a lovely breakfast or lunch spot! Easy enough for English speakers to order. Try the Pomodoro panini.

Very nice place, like the history of the place. The hot chocolate was delicious. The 0.50l water bottle was more than 3€ which is very overpriced. The waitresses were very nice. One of them forgot my water, but just a minor thing.

Good escape from pasta and pizza 😊
Ribs and burgers are good!
Fries are very unique! Very thin and crispy! Must eat!
Loved everything about this place. The service is the best in town. You have to try the sweets and the Moroccan tea 😍

Highly recommended. Shout out to the best staff, Ronny 👋🏻
We were definitely disappointed with our experience here. We were very excited given it's the only 3 star Michelin in Florence, but the food was good, not exceptional in flavour.

The service was very pushy in trying to upsell you at many points throughout the meal which qas off-putting.

Our first 3 star Michelin we wouldn't return to or recommend.

Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence is a culinary masterpiece. The restaurant offers a truly exceptional dining experience, with its impeccable service and an extensive wine list that will delight even the most discerning oenophiles. The cuisine is a harmonious blend of innovation and tradition, resulting in dishes that are not only visually stunning but also bursting with exquisite flavors. Dining here is a journey through the finest Italian ingredients, and it's no wonder Enoteca Pinchiorri has earned its three Michelin stars. A truly memorable gastronomic adventure.

It's a bit...unique to be seeking out an American sports bar in Florence, admittedly. It's kind of like trying to find a place to buy White Claw while on a vineyard tour in Tuscany.

However, as an American who's lived abroad for the past four years, the concept was a bit tempting when I walked past.

And I will say this — if you're an American no longer living stateside and slightly missing home, this is pretty damn nice. If you just want to grab a beer and watch an NFL game and talk a little smack with the people around you, this is the place.

I had a great time in my limited visit here, and it felt great to just get a *taste* of what I left behind. I wouldn't go here every week or recommend this place to any old tourist, but if you're American, not living stateside anymore, and in the area? Come on by.
10 years ago, my friend and I visited Florence. Unfortunately two men started to follow us, which made us very afraid. Fortunately we found Cucciolo and told Mr. Alessandro (who was serving) about this situation. He kindly allowed us to stay there because he saw us scared and went out to see if the men were still around. The men had coffee on the spot, but Mr. Alessandro always made sure that they did not approach us. Once the men got bored and left, we ordered something to eat so we could thank Mr. Alessandro. To our surprise, when I wanted to pay, Mr. Alessandro did not charge anything and told us to leave quietly. I think it was one of the experiences I remember most in my life because of Mr. Alessandro's kindness. I had never met anyone like him. I don't know if he remember this anecdote, because I have not been back to Florence since that occasion, but I sent him a postcard and I don't know if it arrived. I am writing this review just to let him know that I still remember what he did and that I will be eternally grateful. I wish there were more people like him.

A restaurant that does not respect customers and all of its tables are reserved even though they are empty. The employees in the place choose for you the place that suits them and not what suits the customer, and this is extremely disgusting and provocative. I ordered a La Vegas burger and it was served cold and had no flavor

Warning to tourists, be aware of bogus charges in this shop. Always ask for the receipt because the cashier will throw away the receipt after adding an "extra charge" to it. When I confronted him about the charges, he denied it and wouldn't show the receipt. I paid because I didn't want to cause a scene for a couple of euros, but I'm disgusted by this behavior.

Food was okay, the pastry shop down the street (forno) was better. But the dishonest customer service warrants the 1 star.

My family and I were in italy, and of course we are football fans ( "American football") when we were out and about , this was one of the places we noticed on Google had the games on. When I walked in to ask, it was seemingly a tiny little place, but once in, we realized quickly that there was much more to this place. The owner (not sure his name , I know it began with an F) he was behind the bar, and was very accommodating. He specifically streamed the college game we wanted... and we had little bites to eat that night. We went back next day, for the nfl game, and man, did it ever get packed! The place opens up as well to a whole other side with karaoke and dancing with deejay. Hubby and I decided to get the big steak that came with fries (way amazing, fresh as heck ), but the best part was the steak. My husband doesn't eat steak on a regular basis because he doesn't care for beef.. but he ate this like it was candy. Lol, the meat was amazing! And for the price, respectively, way way worth it for the quality. The staff was amazing, and very helpful and nice. I mean, this place was so good, we went there 2 days in a row.. (yes, they had football... but we went back bc the staff and food. My inlaws ate the wings, which were also just as yummy. We were all so grateful for the amazing staff, and grateful it was apart of our italy experience ❤️ thank you to the wonderful owner and staff!!!

From the moment we sat down, we knew Nicholas, our waiter, had our best interest in hand, I know what you're thinking.....your in Florence, and this is an American Steakhouse. But hey, I am an Aussie, and you can only eat so much pizza and Pasta. Nicholas guided us very carefully through the menu and matched the wine as well.
The meal, service, and food was fantastic.
We had cheese sticks, Ribs and Rodeo Burger, mat he'd with the Larger on tap, and a bottle of Merlot-Cabernat wine.

Thanks, mate, for a fantastic first night in Florence.
A disappointing experience. This is billed as fine dining… the food was ok and the service was excellent, but the ambiance killed our enjoyment. The biggest issue is zero enforcement of a dress code. The home page of the website clearly states jacket for gentlemen, but most tables were dressed in shorts and t-shirts. At worst, goofy track suits and sneakers. The “restaurant” itself is just an area of tables adjacent to bar seating, where anything goes with dress or kids. Honestly, if it was just the “hotel restaurant,” it would have been fine, but the standards projected online vs. the reality in the room are far apart. My wife and I packed and dressed specifically for this restaurant during a trip in the dead heat of summer, when they’ll let anyone walk in the door. Seek a different option if you are looking for an upscale experience in Florence.
Lovely food and great service, eduardo was amazing, helped us pick the best cocktails to drink and gave us a great recommendation to the rooftop bar over the road. Will definitely be back.

Well,
I am not sure I even know how to start on this one. Service was old with a very pushy waiter and service in general was strange. The restaurant was nearly empty at 8pm. The decor is beautiful and so was the food. However, pretty doesn’t equal to quality and flavor. The Cod was nauseating, so was the duck. For the most part the presentation was great but the food itself was flavorless and honestly tasted like it had been pre prepped by days not hours. The major food poisoning the following days was terrifying. Probably the worst experience I have ever had at a a restaurant located inside a Saint Regis Hotel.
Terrible Michelin guide experience: food was subpar, staff was rude and discriminatory. Almost ruined our last night in Florence. I don’t know what St Regis or Michelin were thinking here. If you’re a tourist, there are plenty of other fantastic options in the city, regardless of what type of food or experience you’re looking for. Save yourself the trouble and pick something else!
Affordable place for enjoying a coffee and doing some work / reading. Although its a bit hard to find if you haven’t been here. You should go inside the building on the 2nd floor.
Superb experience on every level! Service friendly and impeccable! Had a fun time sharing love to food and wine with our waiter Remy. The foot was absolutely amazing! The wine list is very presentable with an excellent choices. Highly recommend! Cannot wait to go back to this place while in Florence again.

Love the old Italian vibe. All the pastries looked amazing. Coffee was good too.
지금까지 먹어본 핫초코중에는 최고.
핫초코 푸딩같은 색다른맛있음.
비오는날 비 맞고 추워서 급하게 가까운 김에 방문했는데 아이들이 너무 좋아했음.
We ordered a Cappuccino for £2, along with a Croissant for £1.50 and a Nutella Croissant also priced at £1.50.

The service was prompt, and the croissant was absolutely delicious. They were very generous with the Nutella filling.
Had a refreshing stop here for espresso, panini, pastries and Strega. Attentive, friendly staff and delicious food.
Loved the maritozzo and cappuccino! We were in Florence for 2 days and came here both days for a quick breakfast!
We visited this place multiple times for their wonderful pastry. I liked all that we tried. But my favorite is the ricotta one.
A quick review here, because that's all that is needed🤣. It's great. We stayed just across the room and this is where we had our breakfast each day, thanks to our B&B. Speedy service very polite staff and a crazy speedy environment 🤣🕺💃
We tried the pasta from the day menu and it was very tasty. The waitress was very kind and nice in Italian style. Considering the location, the prices are reasonable.

Quick stop after dinner, very nice folks own this place, and it’s cool because they have a ‘fresco’ story painting of their own love story on the wall…wife says it’s a love story over 40 years old. Bravo…plus tasty espresso and cheesecake gelato.
Perfetto! I highly recommend this place, wide selection of tasty cakes, ideal for italian breakfast. Nice service
Warm and delicious bambolini with cream for 1.20€. Not too sweet. They sold out quickly. You might need to wait for the next batch because they don’t make them continuously.
It looks like coded but is open and small, warm, delicious, fast.

This is an amazing Cafe, extremely friendly staff who spoke great English. They couldn't do enough for us. The pastries crumble so softly into your mouth with an explosion of cream filling, and an assortments of flavours. In Italy they call a Mocha "Marocchino", it's packed with flavour and great strong coffee flavour. Thank you so much would love to have come here again and again. Ciao grazie!
Passate oltre.
Everyone there was so nice and they seemed to have a lot of pride and care with the pastries they made. It was all wrapped up with a cover to protect their appearance, wrapped up and tied with a bow. Really delicious!

This place deserves a visit while in Florence. The view from the terrace is one of the best in town and it’s the perfect place for enjoying a cappuccino and a croissant. It was one of the best parts of our trip and we really enjoyed our time there, where we could actually feel the vibe of the city.

A tucked away cafeteria in the heart of Florence with a great view of Brunelleschi's dome. Perfect croissants and a wide range of special coffees to suit adventurous tastebuds from pistachio creme coffees to bon bons.

Reasonable prices especially considering the view.

€1.40 for a croissant
€3-5 for all speciality coffees.
For a Michelin rated restaurant, this is by far the worst dining experience we had. The food was very sub-par, absolutely nothing special about it. The fish (turbot) was overcooked, as was the lobster (not to mentioned that there was almost no actual lobster on our plate). The overall presentation and type of dishes feels very dated and not at all keeping with the times. The food in general felt more like an average 5 star hotel room-service meal, certainly not a Michelin worthy experience, especially given the exorbitant price.
The service was very poor, the staff were inattentive and we kept getting a different waiter (no dedicated waiter for each table). We also had to ask for things multiple times before getting them (such as wine menus, water, etc). 30 minutes into our dining experience, the restaurant called me to say I was late for our booking. I could literally see the staff on the phone to me at the reception and waved at them!
The cocktails were some of the worst we had in Italy, very poorly made and certainly not up to the St Regis standard.
The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant has a lovely old-world charm to it, but overall I would avoid this restaurant, as we had far better food at all other places in Florence.

Great place!
The cakes are of incredible quality.
Coffee is very good, also the decaffeinated version.
Ambiente is very pleasant, warm and welcoming.
Great coffee and sweets!
This place offers continental breakfasts. Unfortunately, the Italians do not fully understand what they are. There was scrambled eggs, but the cheapest "orange juice" from the market, salty piece of bread and a portion of cheap jam in a small plastic package. I didn't know whether to add the jam to the eggs, jam or to the small salty bun. price: 10 euros. conclusion: if you are in Italy, eat like an Italian - for breakfast coffee and pasta. Basta!. beautiful interior and surroundings. service not very vigilant
Obsessed with this cafe, went every day for 5 days while in Florence. By the end of my stay, I was getting 2 pastries with my coffee because I couldn’t get enough of them. Service is quick and the coffee and food are excellent as well as well priced - I got a cafe latte and 2 pastries for under €5. The pastries with chantilly cream are a must!!

Note to others - we are used to ordering just a “latte” at home but in Italy latte is just steamed milk so be sure to specify cafe latte :)

Amazing place. Really nice people, great pastries and bakes, and cookies. Definitely try. Their muffins are super
This was such a little gem! Alberto in the back is preparing food and coffee AND serving while the female waitress is also zipping around! This place has limited seating so come early or prepare for take away. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING we had was fantastic. I ordered a suprema panini which is stuffed and it was so light and flaky. We also ordered a Mediterranean pizza which was phenomenal, the crust was to die for. We had enough time to grab a cappuccino and bomboloni which you absolutely should do as well! So glad we found this place! 10/10!

Great small and cozy place for coffee, tea and sweets. The personnel is lovely and the pastries are really great and tasty. I also loved the decoration of the place. It is located in Le Cure close to Via Faentina. A place to come back to again and again.
Reasonably priced food and friendly service. No fuss atmosphere. Good range on the menu and food arrived very quickly after ordering.

The salmon penne I ordered was very salty (which I found disappointing). My partner ordered the lasagne and was quite happy with it.

Close to Firenze Santa Maria Novella (in English Florence Santa Maria Novella) station - under two minutes walk.

Outside seating is available with plenty of seating inside.

nice place, good quality, but nothing special.
I really had high expectations. This was my first visit to a michelin star restaurant.
The servise was exaptional, part of the courses ware really good, but others felt not really as i hoped it will be.
Bottom line - great restaurant, but i wouldn't recomend my friends to spent so much money for this experiance...
There is much better experiences without paying so much

Fantastic service. Great selection of sweets and a great little buffet of pasta, pastries and rice for 6 euro. Highly recommended
Fantastic range of pastries baked every day, served still warm from the oven with well made coffee. The barista even showed off his latte art skills on a quieter morning!

This is where the locals come for their morning coffee and cornetto. As classic a pastry shop as you’ll find.
Lots of choices for food here at great affordable prices. The service was also very good. There was no hidden costs or extra charges for eating in. Customers could also use the toilets. The pasta and pizza were all on display and they heat it up for you upon ordering. We had the carbonara (€5), mushroom pizza (€3.90) and a cheesecake. They were only so-so, but for the price and service, we weren't going to complain. Good for a quick bite if you're not looking for gourmet Italian food.8

Very nice deco, good service but the food just made me wonder how did the restaurant earn it's Michelin star. Had the degustation lunch set with wine - wine was good but the food was flat in flavour and presentation. Florence is a place with great food, this place simply doesn't live up to the standard and a slight disappointment for the price point.
