I'm not usually in the area for lunch time but I decided I wanted a lunch time treat! So I hit up Fat Tuesday for some grub with my hubby!

(I'm kicking myself for not getting a photo of the menu....) I got the spicy alfredo and my husband got the quesadilla. I knocked one star off the food because the alfredo tasted almost like tomato soup and I think it's canned chicken, but the portion was decent and it was still completely gone by the end of the meal. The shredded beef quesadilla was pretty freaking good though! My only complaint was I like my sour cream on the side... 🤷🏻‍♀️ And last bit not least, I didn't photograph it but I mixed the amaretto pineapple and electric lemonade for my frozen treat. The sour is the lemonade pairs amazing with the sweet taste of the amaretto with hints of pineapple. They compliment each other so well. 😍

Will always come back! I'm a Fat Tuesday junkie 🤣🤣

It was pretty dead, but the music was good, and the service was decent. The prices aren't bad but after she poured the drink she said it was rum and everclear. I thought it was all rum (daiquiri's). Had I realized it was going to be a mix with everclear, I would have gotten something else.

Went to Westgate on a Thursday night just for drinks and dinner and happened to make a stop here. Live band was playing and there was a $10 cover. Sooooo worth it - even with the purse check and pat down at the door. (Made me think I was in Chicago)

The place isn't very large but it was packed with people. The band was awesome, without it being obnoxiously loud you couldn't have a conversation. Overall vibe was very chill. The bar specializes in slushy drinks but the regular cocktails we ordered were well made. I would definitely come back during another live performance.
Omg Monday Karaoke 🎤 is the best had such a blast for my bday it's a good spot to hang out to have some drinks.. we only got appetizers! Get there early if you go Mondays they get jam packed!

Very good food and service. Busy place but it wasn't too long of a wait for a Saturday afternoon. We had some avocado toast as an appetizer which was very good. I would have like maybe the toast little more toasty. But next time I'd just ask that before. We tried the spicy jambalaya which was very good and the spicy garlic noodles. Very satisfied. The atmosphere was good but a very busy place. We sat on the patio and was a little chilly but the outdoor heaters helped. We will come again and try some other foods.

We had a nice outing with my 90 year old mother and our daughter, so a 3 generation group of 4. Our server was so kind and helpful. We came in close to the end of happy hour and he made sure to get our drink order in quickly so we could take advantage. Our food came out in a very reasonable time and was delicious. We all enjoyed our food. Our only problem of the evening was that we were seated near one of the patio doors and even though it was cold and rainy, there were folks out there, so the servers kept having to go in and out, hitting us with a big cold draft each and every time. My mom was uncomfortable for most of the time we were there. It did finally subside before we left. We will just have to remember for another time to be aware of that when being seated.
I have never been to a Fat Tuesday despite seeing them everywhere on vacations. I was missing out. Great drinks for a reasonable price and this location had excellent and down to Earth help who were genuinely interested in me as a customer. The Miami Vice brought back cruise ship memories and their Pina colada is perfect!

Amazing service! Came here for brunch on Saturday and didn't have to wait long to be seated. We sat on the patio and our server was wonderful.
My husband had the breakfast sandwich and it was delicious - the hash browns could have been cooked a little longer.
I had the breakfast burrito, it was a bit bland and could have used a bit more flavor. The potatoes could have been cooked longer as well.
We will definitely check this place out again.

The service was terrible. I don't blame the server b/c she explained they were backlogged. But that doesn't excuse the lack of being looked after while dining with them. I feel like this place has potential but it wasn't there today.

I love their Spicy Jambalaya with rice. I would always order the bigger plate because it is so delicious. Their Wisconsin fried cheese curds are also really good.
Another thing that I like about Yard House is that they open till 1am.
We love Chevy Chase Country Club. It's a small venue a bit off the beaten path, but it's absolutely gorgeous and very peaceful to have a leisurely lunch.

Man, do I love me a taco and I found my new favorite today at Yard House! I’ve been here before, but it was probably over a decade ago. I didn’t know what I was craving when we arrived, but after talking with our waiter I knew I had to try the tacos since he told me I could mix and match them. They come with rice and pinto beans as well. You can do two or three tacos Im unless you have room for more for an additional price. There are five different taco options leaving one for everyone’s liking I’m sure. I chose the Baja fish taco which is beer battered and paired with smashed avocado, cabbage, cilantro, sriracha aioli, and salsa roja. My second choice was the blackened shrimp taco with again the same toppings. Again the side is spicy rice and pinto beans. Our other meal ordered was the Spicy Beef Garlic Noodles. Everything came out so fast and our server was attentive and made sure we always had full drinks. Great drink options with so much beer on tap I couldn’t tell you the amount. If you can’t find something you like you might not like alcohol lol. The fish taco was definitely my favorite. It had amazing flavor. The batter crispy, but fish cooked perfectly. The cabbage and avocado were so fresh. The spicy level was perfect for me. The shrimp taco wasn’t far behind. Amazing presentation and a great time all around. The vibe inside is a bit dark, but it gives a nice reprieve from the Arizona sun/heat. There’s a full bar as well as outside seating. Great stop, great service and great food.

Came here for lunch and we sat at the bar, even though there were a lot of tables available, it's just a bar sitting type of vibe.
The service was really good, our bartender was very attentive with making sure we were good for both beverages and with the food we ordered.
My husband had the fish & chips and I had the house cheese steak. Food was okay, but lacked a bit in flavor and if there were some green peppers, mushrooms and onions in the cheese steak, then I'm pretty sure it would have tasted a lot better. The cheese was just overpowering and I gave half of it to my husband in exchange for a piece of fish, which also lacked in flavor, so you really need the side sauces that come with it.

We would definitely come back for the beer.
Sat outside on the patio. Was a chill vibe for dinner on a Saturday at 7. Drinks are always good. Margherita pizza, spinach dip, chicken Street tacos... all good
I love it here. The staff, place and atmosphere are always great.

My waiter (Joseph) (funny it's my name to) was slammed ! He had all his tables full with family's and was still able to go above and beyond making sure drinks were filled or anything we needed was met promptly by Joseph. It's 10/3/23 out meal was around 7-8 ish... I hope he gets recognized for his awesome performance 👍😎
The frozen flight option is a great way to try flavors when one can't decide. I got the nachos with carnita and they were delicious. My server was on top of it, checking in regularly. The atmosphere was nice but the music was so loud my server and I had to communicate with hand signals- fortunately she seemed very used to this.
Our food and drinks were delicious. Our server was attentive and had great suggestions.

One thing to remember is if you want to seat in one of the patios during the evening hours. Ask for the south side patio.
The east patio was uncomfortable hot 🥵.

Look forward to going again.

From out of town and last day to see one of my many favorite cousins and we ate dinner here. Wait time was 30 mins, so I'm sure the wait is worth it, so we waited. The food was great, and our server was the most energetic waiter I've ever had. He was awesome ( Joseph ). vibes were good, only down fall I had was it was too dark. For a table that sat 8 and one candle light wasn't good enough to see the menu.

Overall a great place to eat and catch up with old and new friends! Staff is really helpful and friendly . They actually look like they enjoy being there ! Crazy but it's just a nice home feeling friendly kinda place
Elote dip is good, the service was horrible our server was pre occupied with the younger crowd. We had the mahi, al pastor and shrimp tacos. The mahi was horrible as well as the shrimp, the al pastor was not cooked all the way and fatty. Great atmosphere cool looking place!

Seems to be our stop before Metallica 2 weeks in a row. The atmosphere here is lively and fun. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu.

This time, the waitress got our order wrong, pork instead of beef on our burrito. She offered to make another, but we decided to eat the one we were given. The pork was k9nd of fatty, but they removed it from our bill altogether, so that was cool.
The beer was cold, and the sodas were never empty. All in all, we had a great experience.

Highly recommended!

Very cool place in a very fun area. Everyone was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was perfect to hang out with a group or go on an intimate dinner date. Everything was very clean and there were tons of options s on the menu for whatever your taste buds prefer. The appetizers were extremely tasty and affordable. The queso dip was one of my favorite quesos yet. Our table ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich - the Nashville chicken and sweet potato pancakes - and the Kurobuta pork burger. The pork burger was so tasty with the blueberry ketchup and candied bacon - so moist and tender. Hot and honey sauce was awesome. The group said the drinks were delicious as well. Fun space - parking is daunting if there is an event in the area though.
We got seated right away which was surprising because of the concert that was going to start an hour later. Cool vibe in the restaurant. My husband I decided to just get a couple of drinks and share an appetizer. My husband asked for 3 different bourbons and the server said they didn't have any of them (one of them she said she had never heard of it, but it was literally on their menu) so he just asked for whatever they did have on hand. I ordered a Raspberry Hibiscus and it was so good! We ordered the Mini Chimis and some chips and salsa. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back when we are back in town for an event!
The Nachos were insanely big!!!

Took over an hour for the nachos and 3 tacos to come out. Then they came out cold. Not room temperature but cold like they were sitting in a cooler. After the wait, at least they should be warm. Our napkins that came with the silverware had dried up food on both of them. The Iced Tea didn't have much ice, which wasn't a big deal it just added to the disappointment.. $57 for that was a bit steep, too. The server was pleasant. Otherwise, this would have been a 1 star.
I very much enjoyed my morning breakfast of a Chorizo Benni. Such wonderful flavors and a perfectly poached egg. 😋 When I asked my server about it, she said it was her favorite on the menu, and now I know why. I highly recommend if you like poached eggs (runny yoke) and a bit spicier foods.
As a wedding and event planner who has organized numerous events and even tied the knot at this beautiful venue, I can confidently say that the Chevy Chase Country Club has never failed to impress. From the moment you step onto the property, you are in an atmosphere of luxury, elegance and warm hospitality.

Let's start with the stunning surroundings; the CCCC's well maintained grounds and picturesque landscapes provide the ideal backdrop for any event. The scenic beauty never fails to amaze!!

The CCCC's event facilities are top-notch and versatile. The various event spaces are tastefully decorated and can be customized to suit any theme or style. Not to mention the beautiful Cypress Hall, which can comfortably accommodate a large number of guests.

I also can't speak highly enough about the attentive and professional staff - it's always a pleasure working with Silvana, Karina, Ruben and Cassidy!

Having experienced the CCCC as a bride myself, I can confidently say that it was the best decision my husband & I made. The wedding was nothing short of magical and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly!

Lastly, I wholeheartedly recommend Chevy Chase Country Club to anyone looking to host a memorable event or celebrate life's significant moments. The teams dedication, the venue's elegance, and the overall experience is unparalleled. You can rest assured that your event will be nothing short of extraordinary at this incredible venue!
Was there for a wedding , was impressed how organized and smooth it went. Food and pastry were on point
Outstanding service from Aaliyah for breakfast during our stay. My partner and I both have food allergies and she was able to assure of safe preparation. Delicious food as well and we enjoyed sitting outside. On Day 2 of our stay, Sue and Areli took really good care of us during the breakfast buffet. Thank you!
How often is hotel restaurant five star quality? I've got to say it's exception and not the rule. In fact, I typically skip hotel fare. I'm so glad that I tried out this unassuming little spot in the lobby of the Renaissance - Glendale. It is exceptional. The breakfast buffet for example, it doesn't look particularly fancy... But wow! The freshest ingredients. Beautiful fruit, delicious, crispy, waffles, awesome omelettes, perfectly prepared bacon. Just really solid and good...

I was also pleasantly surprised by the crispy pork tacos on the lunch menu. So good...I ordered them two days in a row. Ohhh and the bar... Aaron, the bartender is amazing. His old-fashioned is outstanding!!! I travel a lot and I'm on the quest for the perfect old-fashioned. Aaron's is truly one of the best I've ever had. Best birthday drink EVERRRR! Moreover... He remembers you from one day to the next. That's pretty exceptional in a hotel bar with a steadily shifting clientele. Pleasant surroundings, great people, great location...I enthusiastically recommend Soleil.
I haven't left an bad review before but this place calls for one. We were at the Hotel and wanted to get something to eat before the concert. The service was awful and there weren't many people there. The food was meh and totally cold when I got it a long time after ordering. We should have gone some where else.
Almost had an issue because they would not honor the advertised Happy Hour on an event day but the GM fixed everything for us.

Great drinks and food! Service is attentive but a little slow at times. Still one of our goto places when we visit Phoenix!
As I reflect on the recent celebration of life ceremony for my parents, held at Chevy Chase Country Club's Cypress Hall and adjoining courtyard, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the exceptional level of professionalism demonstrated by the Club Staff. Their expert guidance and attention to detail played a crucial role in ensuring the success of the event.

The beautiful facility and delicious food were enjoyed by all attendees, who expressed their appreciation for the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the Club Staff. I am truly grateful for their tireless efforts and would like to extend my sincere thanks to each and every one of them. Their dedication to excellence has left a lasting impression on me and my family, and we will always hold this experience close to our hearts.

Such a beautiful property to visit for dinner or host your own private event! The staff is attentive and great with all guests. It's evident that management prioritizes creating a great experience for everyone who walks through their doors. There are always fun events hosted by the CCCC team. I highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chevy Chase Country Club and was thoroughly impressed. The facilities are top-notch, with immaculately kept greens, a well-maintained swimming pool, and a beautiful lounge. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always willing to help and make sure my experience was enjoyable. I especially enjoyed the food at the restaurant, which was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, I highly recommend Chevy Chase Country Club to anyone looking for a great round of golf or a relaxing day at the pool. Their Wednesday Night Pasta Night was fun and unique!
Delicious food. Well priced. My only issue is that out of the 4 dishes we ordered that 3 of them were VERY spicy. Also the option of chips or fruit isn't very desirable. Brenda (the bartender) is wonderful. She is very good at her job.
I visited this venue a few weeks back as a dj for a bridal shower. It’s the first time I had been here, but was pleasantly surprised. It’s a really nice location hidden in the hold of Glendale. Set up wasn’t too difficult, just a little bit of a walk from the parking lot. The venue was very clean and well maintained. The food was pretty good as well. The staff was also friendly and helpful as well. I didn’t really have any complaints about the venue.
Nice way to start my Saturday. I went with the 3 egg omelet. Came with a meat on the side and hashbrowns. I selected Turkey sausage. Service was very friendly and quick. This meal was $12 plus tax + tip. Meal was hot , fresh and tatsted great. Omelet had mushrooms, onions, peppers and cheese. I'd recommend eating here.
Nice little bar... good taps, excellent cocktails, local beers and whiskey. Four Peaks beers and Fossil Creek Whiskey. Not to mention a perfect rye Manhattan.
Ray's is an OK bar for food. Service was good. Food selection is limited. We had the chicken quesadilla and it was very good. The wife's valley club was large and delicious. My Reuben was marginal. The french fries were hot and good. The chardonnay wine was served warm (ugh!), but the beer was cold. The entertainment (5 to 7 pm) was a plus. With all the other options at Westgate not sure we will return.

This pace has a complete face lift. The new owners have gracefully revived the jewl of the jewl city.

A very unique come back to the neibouhood. One suggestion was made that they could have grand fathered in previous members by sending an invitatiom to them.
