Absolutely great service from Ella. Very happy and made us feel so comfortable and at home. She was on point with service to us and made us feel like we were the only ones there. Harrison also served us a couple drinks and was very kind and chatty. Absolute great place to go to. Definitely recommend. DONT forget your bottomless brunch. Our waiter Kuba was fantastic he had a big table in but didn’t make any difference to the service we received he constantly checked in on us

Charity went over and beyond in terms of service, even sang happy birthday. Which if you did more of would make more customers happy, we had some regulars and first time turtle bay visitors in our group.
They all enjoyed for the special occasion.

Only thing I would say is that the other colleague that we placed the food with didn't get it right (gave rice instead of fries). Other than that great service.

This is really nice place, great atmosphere, good food. I had the non vegan mushroom risotto, it was great nice portion size loved it.

What a lovely Indian restaurant the food was superb and delicious, we sat and got waited on and the staff were kind, friendly and professional. They also have a buffet every Monday, we will definitely go back and recommend to friends and family definitely.

Not expecting too much coming from Leed where we have great Indian restaurants & food.
Bengal brasserie was a welcome change.
The Service & food was excellent.

We booked a table using a groupon voucher. When the menu was presented to us we thought it looked expensive for an Indian restaurant, but none the less we ordered from it as we had prepaid for the voucher.

When we got home we checked the menu on their website and it was much cheaper than the menu they gave us in the restaurant.

The price would have been about the same if we had been given their standard menu compared to the groupon voucher and the menu with inflated prices

I feel very disappointed with the restaurant as they were not honest about their pricing.

The food was ok, but the experience was ruined by the pricing issue.

I recently enjoyed a bottomless brunch at Coventry’s Turtle Bay, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was delicious, with a great variety of dishes that perfectly complemented the drinks. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Leona. She was attentive, friendly, and really went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, keeping our drinks topped up without us even having to ask. Leona’s warm demeanor and proactive approach made the entire brunch feel effortless and enjoyable. It’s not every day you come across service that leaves such a lasting impression, but Leona absolutely did just that. Highly recommend both Turtle Bay for brunch and Leona if you’re lucky enough to have her serve your table!

Very nice, clean and cozy place. Been for the Monday buffet and did not disappointed. Food is really tasty and hot. Indians flavours spot on you can really enjoy the food. Attentive staff. Me and my husband had a great dinner thank you.

I didn't expect much from the restaurant and went more out of convenience as a guest in the hotel. I initially went to the bar and was invited through to the restaurant by the barman. The restaurant had a nice ambience with chatty large tables on one side and solo diners on the other.

I ordered the fish and chips and was pleased with my meal. The fish, once I'd let it cool, was outstanding. Crunchy salty batter, moist chunky fish, and it was huge! The chips were so so, as was the mushy peas. The tartare sauce had a nice zing to it that complimented the fish wonderfully.

Pints of Neck Oil were very welcome, and the service was superb. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and would definitely come again. Try the fish.

Was a little disappointed about the information provided regarding the bottomless brunch... you HAVE to buy additional food before you can have it which was not explained and the time it took for drinks is simply not worth it *I'd phoned 5 times and not once was this explained)

Misleading name/ menu is different to what is shown online. Very poor food (worst i have had for a long time) The only positive was good service by Basanti.

Don't be fooled by the online menu they don't serve any of it!!! Pathetic food

It's OK standard restaurant no wow factor. Bathroom needs attention. Food could do with less colouring. The menu needs to be on the website as it differs from the in restaurants menu. Service was good.

Food was good- the vegan burger was super tasty, great vegan cheese and plenty of great fries. For me, the food was the saving grace of our visit. The staff were pleasant enough but service was not up to scratch for a place with these type of prices and the reputation they're trying to create. Felt a bit chaotic, there were no check-backs on food and we weren't offered any dessert or coffee menus when our plates were cleared and took us 45 minutes to get the bill!

Go for the interesting decor and decent food, but don't expect anything more than subpar service 🤷🏼‍♀️

I stayed in one of the rooms and it was very cozy and clean. Also had dinner at their restaurant and was so pleasantly surprised by the menu options.

Six of us ate here late on Saturday night, everything was top notch, the food, the portion size, the service and the attentiveness. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a fantastic curry, look no further!

Amazing food!! The waitresses were lovely! We love it here, been for birthday meals, and just for a drink, and everytime met with the same beautiful service.

Fantastic place to treat daughter to when visit her at university in Coventry. Best meal was the dirty burger, filled my hit and said it phenomenal smelt and tasted amazing 😊 all were lovely 3 empty plates at the end

An excellent welcome and experience awaits you at the Bengal Brasserie.
The manager gives a warm welcome, Explains the menu and takes you to your table. Service throughout was excellent, attentive but not in a bad way. And the food was excellent also.
I would recommend this place to all, a great experience from an excellent host and his team.

I booked the Monday buffet for 4 people plus our two babies in pushchairs for my birthday.

We decided to book here as we have had take out a few times and are always happy with the food. When I have been in to collect their phones are always ringing with people making orders so this is a good sign!

We had a wonderful time. The staff were so accommodating, and the curry was delicious. The buffet really is great value for money. Each dish was lovely - and it was great to try some new things. Good selection of sides as well as curry. The bhajis and tandoori chicken are amazing.

The drinks were good value for money - the wine didn’t have sizes but was £5.95 for a glass and it was a large one!

The waiters were lovely and attentive. There was a nice attention to detail and after we had finished the curry we got hot wipes and after eights. As it was my birthday I was even given a free shot of baileys (it’s officially autumn) and they turned the lights out so I could have my birthday cake come out with the candles lit. The staff went above and beyond and really made me feel special on my birthday.

I do think a little extra service and attention to detail goes such a long way and keeps customers coming back.

I have awarded four stars as I think it’s a fair representation. If I were to give any feedback I would say that more high chairs are needed. There were quite a few younger children but only one high chair to share between us. I think from seeing that there were so many younger children a baby changing would be useful although I do understand it’s not always possible.
The decor is a little tired but overall the place was clean and tidy.
It was a little cramped where we were sat but again the staff were so polite and worked around us - even though I know we took up a lot of space.

I would absolutely visit again - for the buffet and perhaps at the weekend without the babies!

Food and service was fantastic! Our server was attentive, and each course was faultless. The Mediterranean mezze was better than anticipated, each plate was full of flavour and very generous. I had the rotisserie chicken and swapped out the chips for mash, shames me to say but better than my mum's, if this had a Yorkshire pudding it would have been a fantastic Sunday roast 😋. Without a doubt the tastiest chicken I have ever had!

The desserts were homely and filling, perfect for a cold night! Will most definitely be back, the consistency in standard for food and service is hard to find nowadays 👏, thank you❤️

Also they are dog friendly 🐕 defo an extra star for this, would be great to try in the summer as the outdoor area looks lovely.

Ideal country pub meal before flying from bhx airport just far enough away not to be ripped off but close enough (9 min) to the airport carparks. Very good food and reasonably priced definitely worth a visit especially if you need a hearty meal before departure from the UK 🇬🇧

Service was good but we were the only people in the restaurant, which is why it has no atmosphere. Food was nice but the menu didn't refect the website menu. Not cheap but acceptable.

Beautiful venue and menu is amazingly good, delicious breakfast and do much choices. Nice outside stras snd courtyard to sit n relax. Only issue staying here was no WiFi working in places especially courtyard rooms

My first time here and it certainly will not be the last. The service was first class. The food was fabulous in fact it was outstanding

Been a few times to this Indian restaurant and never have anything else but great food and service.
Poppadoms and sauce make a good starter served with a nice ice cold pint of Cobra.
Had a few dishes of the menu in the past and all have been lovely but my favourite is the Indian Railway Cabin chicken with a roti.
On this occasion I asked for Mata Paneer as a side order with my main course which was not on the menu but the made for me no problem.
I would recommend a vist to this lovely restaurant.

A jewel of a find within Balsall Common village. The food was delicious, a good quantity and nicely served. There was a good range of food available. The service was attentive, professional and friendly but sensitive to not intrude.

The food and atmosphere are both lovely, it really lives up to the name! Their prices on some dishes are a little high in my opinion but everything (especially the breakfast) is high quality. The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive.

It has been a while since we were at café Tamarinds. I have to say food was delicious. All the food was served hot. Friendly staff znd reasonably priced. All in all a very nice evening. Will definitely go again.

We booked Tamarinds to celebrate Mum's birthday. 14 of us in total Inc 2 children. Staff welcoming, friendly and attentive. Food choices wonderful. Menu had everything you would want, All the dishes were flavoursome and everything hot, prices very reasonable, plenty of take aways and deliveries were made whilst we were there too. Lovely decor, subtle lighting, nice ambience. We ordered Bhargies, Samosas and the meat starters to share. We had the poppadoms with sauces, they were so light. Really good selection of wines and drinks.
Great restaurant we will definitely be back soon.

Greeted warming upon arrival, lots of really wonderful drinks to choose from. I had a Banana Espresso Martini that was garnished with a Foam Banana which was a nice touch! Each dish was served beautifully with elegant finishing touches. The staff were friendly and the food came fast and was so hot and fresh. The whole aesthetic of the restaurant was beautiful and felt very romantic. Will definitely be coming back.

Great food, real value for money and sooo delicious. Also, a great service from Basanta. Really friendly and polite, such a warm and genuine person with a big heart. She did everything she could to make our experince special and unique

The food is excellent and the staff is usually kind. However, the breakfast time is annoying. The breakfast is excellent, but the waiters are not available or if you see them, they are annoyed. I had to wait for my coffee around 15 minutes, and when I asked for my second coffee, they told me to come back later. All in all, for lunch and dinner this place is excellent, but it you want to have a coffee in the morning...it can be annoying.

Excellent food and service. Request for a gluten free meal was met with the response that "as we make most things from scratch, the isn't usually a problem." We both ordered the Slow Cooked beef blade and it was tender, well presented and a joy to eat. The gluten-free cheese-cake (a rarity) followed and was extremely light and the biscuit underneath not at all stodgy. Wine by the glass is expensive, but the wine is good.
