Myself and my friend were threatened by a "security" guard that he was going to drag us out while we were waiting for our other friend to close their tab. I didn't feel safe at all.

Very interesting with a certain European atmosphere especially since I met 2 different parties of Europeans my first time there. The crowd was wonderfully diverse!
Went to a birthday party saturday. Had the BEST TIME. The music was good and the service was TOPs. Very crowded atmosphere inside and huge patio outside with talented bartenders. And yummy food. Will be back. Treat yourself. It's pretty much the coolest bar in st.loùis
This place is always good vibes. They have events throughout the year, we were surprised by the Line Dancing lessons on Sunday! Bartenders are the best, drinks are tasty. Patio is cute.
Just moved from Seattle and have been looking for good Pho spots in St. Louis. Saigon Cafe delivered great pho and then some! Really had a pleasant time here. I got the standard beef pho and the broth was extremely flavorful. The vermicelli bowls, and cocktails were also really great! Service and atmosphere also top notch. Will definitely be back for more.
My friends and I went here for NYE and it was a blast! The outside patio is awesome. They had a photo booth set up which was lots of fun too. We had an amazing time and I would highly recommend this bar. 10/10 experience.
What a cool find. We discovered, as owner hosted kids New Year event. But now I know that there is cozy bar in STL that serves tasty food and offers variety of drinks. And it looks like there is something new going here every day. Definitely, on the list to come back again…without kids :)

I came here last night for dinner. The restaurant was bustling when I arrived, and a few parties were ahead of me, waiting for their table. The wait was between 10-15 minutes, and I waited. Less than 10 minutes later, I got my table and sat by the front window overlooking the busy streets of Euclid Ave. Christmas decorations are everywhere in the restaurant, which has this holiday vibe. I ordered Cha Gio, which was so delicious, and the sauce that came with it was a perfect pair, and then Bo Luc Lac (this was a tasty main dish, and the only thing missing was the sauce that was supposed to come with my order). Since it was almost Christmas, I had to order one of the restaurant's holiday cocktails- Clark Griswold Eggnog- which was tasty and strong! It is a must-order drink for the holidays.
The Crack Fox is an interesting place. Its decor is eccentric and so are its weekly offerings. From midnight yoga to karaoke it's a cool spot. Honestly it reminded me of a kitchy NYC lower east side bar ( this is a good thing). The drinks were tasty and creative and the bartender knew her stuff!
I enjoyed the place and the food is good but something is missing. I know, I'm a demanding person, but something was missing.

Tonight was a total disappointment. Rehab had been one of the few places I had preferred going to and would recommend to my friends. Sad to know I will not be bringing friends back here anymore 😔

We stood outside in shock of what just happened since we're not a very wild group of people. We just wanted to enjoy some dancing. Instead we spent 30 minutes standing outside Rehab as the bouncer watched us, comforting our friend who was trying to understand what she did "wrong" that ruined our night.

We went on a karaoke Tuesday and it was a fun time with friends. The place is not too large but just right for the groups coming in or going out. Drinks were ok, didn't try the food. Sound system was good but tends to get too loud for the singer's voice sometimes. Interesting place for an eclectic crowd.
Always a fun time and LGBTQIA+ friendly atmosphere. We strictly go on Saturday nights to enjoy the drag shows and dance. Definitely high energy and LOUD but we love it.
I come hare a few times A month for the past three years or so and finally, they got a good security guard. There’s this one gentleman doing all the works really good strong man bald guy really respectful I ask for his name but I forgot I wanna thank him for picking up after I kept on dropping my drink, because the place was packed with people the floor was wet. Hey mopped picked up drinks even break up fights that guy this has a metal did a very good job. I offered him a tip, and he refused to take it. The other security guards were just sitting down while he was trying to get to everything on his own. It seemed like they were just waiting on him to get the job done really got me upset and I wanted to let someone know and I didn’t know who so I like to know cause I seen some comments on here and I see comments are being responded to and I like to let the person know that he needs to let the other guys know to help bald man a raise or a bonus check because he deserves it more than those guys that are waiting for him to get their job done

The last time we were here was Halloween, and they had people entering the back. I didn't like that much as the stairs were a little wobbly and hard to get up. Plus, people coming out almost hit us with the door as we were going in. I'm not sure if this is a permanent entry or just for the holiday.

20$ cover charge, empty bar or club, 6$ beers. Don’t waste your time. They’ve gone downhill.
I absolutely wish I could give less than 1 star. We were asked to leave due to my wife . She was asked to put on more clothing. This was as all the 18+ teens to barely old enough to drink kids were there during Halloween. Sorry it wasn't what crowd you were wanting. Would be happy to show the video to how everyone was dressed. Trust me the bar tenders was cool as hell it was literally 1 bouncer. But I will never let one person ruin my night. My bar tender made our bill in cash tips. We paid for everyone that came out for their food and recruited. Be safe and make sure who you want to spend your money with. Even though a great atmosphere. Anyone that wants to have an employee like that after I offered to see what it took to get upstairs. Needs to check their employees. And when the own sees this. Ask the door man because he was cool as hell. Ask the gal you had running payment for door. And ask the only Black Guy at bar to see if someone complained. Good luck keeping a good business going. Good thing I travel often I'll continue checking on you. This is an edit. I saw the quoted they have multiple security cameras within establishment. I have been there three times (two). The first two times I have always showed my ID, which is my passport from my country and I got in the place very safely and easily. I have always dressed accordingly. How is that possible this last Sunday the guy at the door asked me for a stamped “visa” to let me go in. A visa? A visa for what? Am I entering the airport or a immigration desk? This is the first time in my entirety time in the US I am requested for a “visa” to enter a place. I was so ashamed that I did not want to show to the guy at the door his level of ignorance and lack of common sense; and of course in a country as the US I wouldn’t have any doubt he also showed a little level of racism. I had heard similar experiences from other customer in the past, but I never thought it could be true. Sad but true. So if I base my opinion on the answer that I got from the business, it means the workers have been violating the Missouri Law allowing me and many of my friends to enter this location in the past only with a passport… please I am not against the law, I am just against the lack of common sense. How are tourists supposed to enter this place if they don’t have an ID from the US. Pleaseeeeeeee!
My two main problems with the visit were that the bouncers at the entrance door purchasing the band were very hostile (he did not allow me to go outside to make a phone call, I think it’s being hostile to keep the crowd inside) and smoked inside. Went someone started doing marijuana, I applauded the bigger bouncer who tried to result it, nonetheless, the smell of marijuana killed the vibes several times.
Ashley (bartender) was SO sweet and personable. She made me feel super comfortable . i love shark bar!!

Your lighting designer definitely needs a raise, the dude is crushing cues with these touring acts.

Karaoke DJ has his system Right! Not crowded and lots of conversation with the staff and locals. This place feels like a family get together. Fantastic fun!
The cute guy wearing a flannel and glasses was super sweet! We came out for grove fest and he made us feel great he complimented our outfits and made sure that we were taken care of, if every bar in the grove had someone like this everyone would come here!

Loved it! Bartender and owner were super friendly. DJ was rockin the karaoke. Old school vibes and fun. Cash only. I think I made some lifetime friends there! Will definitely be going back!
It's not actually open until 3 am, they start yelling for people to get out as early as 2:40 (not referring to the patio), and this would be fine if they didn't advertise it on Google as such or even if they were nicer about telling people to leave.

Overall, this is a place that should be enjoyable and welcoming for LGBTQ+ and I can't help but feel a weird sense of discomfort by how some of the employees talk to you. If you’re looking for a good time, go to Shark! The bartenders and waitress are super sweet, and hook me and friends up every time! They are so good at making a fun atmosphere for birthdays, and there’s themed events occasions as well. Check this place out!
Kirstin is an absolute dime and an amazing bartender. She got all of our drinks in a timely fashion and tending to all our needs. I would recommend her to any customer at this club.
I was at this establishment tonight your management team was horrible i came in and i was very cordial and nice as were my friends my id was expired so he said that he could not let me in, that was fine with me i know it’s technically against the law thats not my problem here, my problem is the way he approached the situation was horrible he gave me and my friend an attitude and we hadnt even said all of 2 words to him i asked to speak to a manager he said that the manager was his fiance both had very Bad attitude’s zero out of ten idk if it was because of my race or what but i felt very unwelcomed in what is supposed to be a welcoming bar for people of all types. It definitely wasnt giving that i know people have bad days and they probably deal with alot of drunks but why project that negative energy onto someone who had done nothing to you and then he spoke to us as if we were slow or special just a horrible experience across the board i know many people wont speak up about it but i will and i will do so everytime
Didn't try the pizza but it looked good. This place is so welcoming. If you love karaoke it was a great place for it. So much fun! They have infused fruit flavors and they are yummy.
Didn’t get good but drinks hit, music was a dead miss except some songs/mixes but overall for the night I had best 10$ I spent cause somebody with a beer belly tried to breakdance and it was worth it in that moment!!
Not super pleased with our experience here at about 9:30pm on 9/16/2023. Asked if they had any frozen drinks, no. No big deal there. Asked if they had any sort of drink menu/specials, no. Okay, fine. Ended up ordering two simple cherry vodka, cranberry, and sprite. Bottle ran out while making our drinks. Both drinks were definitely light on the pour because of this, and for $8-$9 each, it’s kind of crummy. Pointed out as the drink was being made, and was basically told “oh well.”

I used to come here frequently until tonight. My male partner chose to use a stall instead of a urinal and was instantly profiled as “throwing up” and therefor our entire party got kicked out. This is discriminatory and an extremely offensive practice for a LGBTQIA+ bar. The “manager” that claims to witness this is met by several counter witnesses and deserves to be fired.
I initially went to shark bar for a drink with my friend but had a great time. Our bartender Kristen made sure we were well taken care of, she was one of the sweetest people I’ve met in a while, and great bartender as welll. I’ll definitely be back here!
This place sucks, wouldn’t let us in over dress code, but let others wearing the same stuff, I’m leaning towards because I am white. The bouncer with his white sunglasses at 12 at night thinking he is cool denying entry to white people. Will never go back.

Been coming since COVID days, and just haven’t left. It’s a great community, and they definitely know how to party! Drag shows throughout the week. Never a cover. They also now do table reservations for Saturday night Divas on The Grove!
Stopped in while celebrating a bride to be. Phenomenal service, Ashley went out of her way to make sure our group was well taken care of. Don’t hesitate to drop in for a good time.

Was new to the area with some friends, heard good things about this bar and we decided to go. Our bartender was a girl named Ashley and she was fantastic ! She was super pretty and sweet as well , definitely made us feel welcomed. Drinks were great, service was even better !

If you’re a bored 18-20 year old with no where else to party , this is the place to be. And even then it’s not very enjoyable or safe.

We had so much fun! We’re from out of town and loved dancing and the atmosphere. Security was beyond amazing making us feel safe. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it was expensive. It was $20 for two shots and $17 for a drink. There was also a $25 admission to get in.

When i moved to STL i went to rehab often had lunch. Watched the drag show. Had some of the best dancing nights, brought out of Towner's there and have never had a bad time. It's def one not to skip. Great patio.
First time and not happy. Paid for VIP SEATS and was given general seats! The manager was horrible. Paid $90 dollars for a booth and got nothing! Bad first impression, and the sad thing it was hubby birthday.
Awesome ally bar, amazing vibes and filled with amazing people. Danced my butt off on a Saturday night and lost track of all time. Affordable and has nice N/A options for my friends who don’t drink. Plenty of seating for a quick break and very accessible water. Also has arcade games and darts! All around great place, will be back here.
My friends and I used to go to this place pretty often. Before COVID, it was a super fun atmosphere and we always felt safe. Things seemed to have changed after COVID. Now it’s like a strip club with twerking contests, fights are breaking out more often, and security is no where to be found. I will not be returning unless something changes. Very disappointing.

Indoor and outdoor bars. Separate seating areas both inside and out. Nice outdoor stage/dance area. Drink prices were reasonable, and very good during happy hour. We visited on Kentucky Derby Day and there was a nice food spread.
I never leave reviews but this place was so awful. WebSite says they open at 930, you get there for your reservation only to find out at the door they don’t open till 10, only then to have the audacity to turn you away because of a dress code listed NO WHERE, when Latino men are walking up in shorts and being let in. Definitely not a Non-Latino friendly place. Save your money and go somewhere else. Don’t run a business if your going to be unprofessional, rude or racist.

Nice open floor plan. Not too big and not too small. The drink prices are HIGH!! 2 drinks, one with a double shot was $36. There's no dedicated kitchen, but there was a caterer. The art is nice and there's a stage for performances. The seating is...um... not the best. Overall a chill spot though if you're looking for a weekend stop
Came in on a Sunday. They had the Cardinals game playing!!!!! Dee is super friendly and an amazing bar tender!! Only down fall, no chicken wings!!! But they did have a fairly decent pizza. Great patio!

I read the reviews before coming in. I’m black Latino and visit with my cousins and husband ( African American). We visit on a Saturday 10$ gals and 20$ men. We got some drinks was okay. The music was fire. Amazing place to dance some bachata and regué music. I like it. Wasn’t treated on any disrespectful way. If I was I would tell. I definitely coming back to dance some more. Unbelievable. The ignorance the management displayed will preclude me from ever attending again. I would have hoped in 2023 there would be acceptance for the LGBTQ community. One of my best male friend wasn’t allowed into the men’s bathroom because he looked too female. This perpetuates racism, inequality, ignorance. I wish the owners had the decency to give their names but whoever the African American bouncer and white male in a blue shirt were should be re-educated on how to be a decent human. Disgusting. Not friendly or open. Never will go again. Represents all that’s wrong in the Midwest. I wish there were 0 stars as an option.
Visited March 12,2023 from Arkansas. We really enjoyed ourselves. The security guard and the lady that found us seats was very nice and professional. The owner came over and introduced herself was very nice. The vibe was very awesome. We will be back the next time we in St Louis..
This is my favorite Vietnamese spot in the city. The soft rolls are fire 🔥 the bun is top notch and the service is excellent. The Pho is also very good. The cook knows what's up.

This place opens at 10pm but the fun here doesn’t begin until about 11pm however the music choice is good, very up-beat and great selections, but there are so many weird older men who just kept constantly asking me and my friend to dance with them. That was very annoying.
Vibes!!! The bartender immediately stopped convo with someone who seemed to be a regular and poured a nice amount of liquor in my drink, and at a reasonable price. The show was very entertaining and the host was engaging. A hidden gem, I’ll be back.

Great Pho here be sure to try the different sauces with your dish. There is also a wide variety of different dishes to be had.

If you are looking for THE place to go out with the girls while still feeling safe to mingle, The Pepper Lounge is where you need to be. From the bouncers to the DJ, drinks, and singles, there is nothing lacking here. I went out with some friends this past Saturday to celebrate my 21st, the bouncers we’re super polite and professional (good looking as well) and were also sure to make it known to the manager, Kelly, that the birthday girl was in the building. Kelly then ensured I had the best night with two complimentary birthday shots, a refund of my personal cover charge and a souvenir cup with a nightcap to keep my drinks safe for the remainder of the evening, as well as his contact card in case I had any problems. I was absolutely blown away by the hospitality here! Kelly frequently checked in on everyone throughout the night to be sure there were no issues and seemed to keep up with his staff too. The club didn’t start to get busy until around midnight, so it’s more of a late night lounge, but there was plenty of seating, staff, three bars and room to get out on the floor. Without a doubt, I will be returning for another night out.

long version: this business utilizes a patriarchal and illegal pay system where they told us they wouldn’t charge for women, but men had to pay. we asked how that would even apply to genderqueer and non-binary, etc people, and/or what if our id noted “gender: x”? they claimed that non-binary people and gender x didn’t exist. on top of that, they spewed anti-Black rhetoric and said my friends looked too “ghetto” to come in anyway. (they absolutely did not - they were stunning and this was meant to be their post-wedding reception after party… and even if they did [which is still problematic to use the term “ghetto”], this is no way to speak to people and potential patrons). i am sorely disappointed that a place like this is still in business. it’s too bad they were so full of hate ~ we had an entire wedding party that probably would’ve brought in revenue in the thousands range within minutes. they even slammed their doors in our faces. it’s truly their loss, and we wouldn’t have wanted to give them our money had we known in advance of their values. in short, this is not a queer or bipoc friendly business. i would give this establishment 0 stars if I could….

There are no rules on dress codes on any of their sites, nor social media. Be aware no athletic gear of any kind or you will be turned away. My only complaint is the lack of transparency that causes problems.
Great bar! The bartenders were very kind and quick to get orders out. Drinks were solid, and VERY well priced. Patio was a nice touch, didn’t even know it existed for the first hour lol. They had karaoke 🎤 and people were vibing well. Would definitely go again :)

Karaoke was fun. The place was full of smoke though. The people (employees) were ok. Our server brought us 3 unwrapped straws in her bare hand and then sat them on the table. No thank you!
For my brothers birthday we reversed bottle service and a booth. We had a blast and the DJ was playing good music. The vibe and energy was very live as well. I loved the bottle service girl Alicyia, she was funny, professional and she made sure we had everything we needed as well. That was the first time coming their and i would definitely come again, they also had a lot of sercurity which made me feel more comfortable. Their no seating unless you Reserve a table but, their are tables where you can put drinks on otherwise you will be standing up the whole time. So make reservations for a booth if you are going to be in heels!!!! It will be pricey though!!!!

Well the facility used to be ran by a local family and back then they really had a handle on how to treat people. I'm not sure who's running the club now the cover was free however my security had to pay $10 because his shirt didn't have a logo and they had shirts for sell at the front door, even though I was personally envited by the headliner of the night.
Also when the headliner took a break for the second half of the show she had to wait at the bar for a drink but other than that the guest showed up in a great number of support.

The reviewer Simplicity said it best, went with my black date and all the sudden felt like I was in slavery days. We were treated rudely and after performing 1 rap song on karaoke we were told no more rap for the rest of the night. Cmon man its 2019 not 1819. If you are not white I wouldn't recommend going to this bar, and even as a white person I was disgusted with the place.

My first time there karaoke DJ was awesome places very spacious and the drink specials are amazing bucket of beers $14 during six. Do you have an amazing beer garden should be nice during the warmer weather.... Edge pool tables 2 I'm both sides of the bar enough to do if you want to come and enjoys the local talent perform their karaoke skills....
Not exactly sure what night I went but I had such a good time with friends. It was my first time there, the dj was on point that night. Not bad at all for a $10 cover. Slightly disappointed with my weak drinks but the dj's connection with the crowd made it a great night. Will definitely see me coming back soon

I have been going there for years. I love that they play top 40 instead of EDM. I can actually dance and sing along to the music. The drinks are pretty standard. The decor is nice. VIP service is good too! Definitely one of my favorite clubs to attend.
I have been going to the Pepper Lounge for years. Granted in the past, it was nice, but management wasn't always on top of things. However, for the past several years, things have definitely changed. For the better. The bar tenders and wait staff are not only attractive, but friendly and respectful. I also like that they don't let in patrons who dress as if they are going to a real "club". Pepper is indeed a true Lounge. It's inviting with elegant decor, with a bar and comfortable seating area in the front. The dance bar in the rear of the building is intimate enough for a smaller crowd, with a VIP section accommodating parties with great service. Outside is a perfect area for smokers, and those who want a bit more quiet to converse and enjoy the weather. I believe that the change in management has a lot to do with the improvements. They are seen running around and taking care of business, always dressed professionally and stylish. I give them a two thumbs up! There are plenty of "bars" and "clubs" in St. Louis.... but nothing has lasted as long as The Pepper Lounge has. That speaks volumes.
