My family order take out all the time here!! The food is good and the service cannot complain

Stay away from this place and don't dine there at any cost !

I arrived at the restaurant today around 4 pm (Friday evening) in the middle of a hot Euro Soccor game. I waited almost 5 minutes till a guy came and reluctantly asked me if I needed a drink ?

I told him I'm here for lunch and no plan for drinking. Then he took orders and I was literally the only person in the restaurant / bar. Half of the lights were off.

Then I decided not to dine there because of a urgent call I received from my wife, so I asked the guy to prepare my order for take out. I had ordered a double wings, a double cheese burger with bacon and an onion rings.

That guy was the only person in the restaurant and was responsible for doing almost everything. So my order took 25 minutes to be ready.

I came home and realized the food was not fresh and staled at least for 2-3 days, burger meat was the lowest quality with terrible taste. The Dude was that slow that took him 25 minutes to heat up the left overs ! And they charged me $80 for that '

Advice to management:
If you're closed or not prepared for hosting, you have to turn off "OPEN" sign and do not heat up left over food for customers. There are some concepts in the business which are more valuable than money such as INTEGRITY !

This restaurant is so dirty ,we went there once and there was mouse running under the table ,the manager that own the place is so rude disgusting,we didn’t even order the food after we saw mouse in the restaurant not recommended at all we were disappointed,never again going there 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

If you're looking for a great place for cheap wings that come in a variety of flavours, this is the place. Seating is limited but the prices for wings can't be beat.

Ground Burger Bar in Newmarket is a must-visit for burger enthusiasts! Their smash burgers are incredibly tasty, cooked to perfection. Pair them with their crispy curly fries, which are delicious especially when dipped in their malt vinegar aioli. The onion rings and Flamin' Hot mozzarella sticks make fantastic starters, but be warned—these will fill you up, so it's best to order them if you have a group of more than two. Trust me, you'll be too full to finish your main meal otherwise!

The service here is top-notch, friendly and attentive. And if you have a sweet tooth, don't leave without trying their deep-fried Oreos. They're so good that my wife insists we limit our visits just because of those irresistible treats. Ground Burger Bar is definitely a spot worth returning to!

The burger was nice.. I'll give it an 8/10. Fries were great 9.5/10 . Cocktail was very mediocre. Had a prosecco lemonade and I didn't really like it. My major concern however is that I sat at the Chef's table and I didn't see the cooks wash their hands often enough for the amount of food they were touching with their bare hands. Gave me serious concerns about their food handling techniques. Also the Chefs had their hair flying about and not neatly packed. The ambience however is absolutely fantastic and there's an outdoor area with lit trees, loads of picture spaces. There's also an ice rink right opposite it, so if you wanna have burgers and go ice skating, go for it! ❤️

Can not express how horrible our experience was. We asked for the bill to be split and it was split wrong. When we asked for it to be split the correct way the owner threw the receipt at us and told us to “figure it out”. We ended just paying on one bill to get out of the restaurant and as we walked out the owner tried fighting us, mind you we are three 20 year old girls just trying to get some wings with 2 guy friends. The owner continued to scream at us while we got in to our cars. Our one friend had to get in the car because the owner continued to approach the car to fight him. All we did was ask for the bill to be split the way we asked ! Do not go to this restaurant , I’ve never had such a horrible experience on a Friday night !

Small gem hidden near The Mandarin. Went on a Monday which is kids eat free and definitely will go back.

Popular burger joint in downtown New Market just steps From the ice rink.
Known for their burgers and beers, I opted to try their GBB smash which is among the popular. Excellent choice as it was juicy and tender.
Even though it came with a slide of fries, I also stole some sweet potato fries off my wife. Overall, the place is fun and bustling during peak dinner and weekend.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Ground Burger Bar

I recently visited Ground Burger Bar in Newmarket, and unfortunately, I left feeling underwhelmed. The atmosphere was decent, but the overall experience fell short of my expectations.

The food itself was mediocre at best. While the burger patty was cooked adequately, the overall flavor was lacking. The burger was served on a paper lined tray. Because I had a lettuce bun and used a fork and knife, the paper below became soggy and buts were stuck to the lettuce bun. Was a complete turn off. My side of fries were over cooked.

Furthermore, the pricing seemed unjustifiably high considering the underwhelming quality of the food. Left feeling as though I had overpaid for a subpar dining experience.

In conclusion, I regret to say that my visit to Ground Burger Bar was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. I believe there is ample room for improvement in terms of both food quality and service. As a result, I am unable to recommend this establishment to others based on my unsatisfactory experience.

There is an owner with french mustach he is really rude everytime. Not recommended to go to this restaurant.

I have ordered here many times and always love it. This time, there was a minor mistake, but the owner was quick and friendly to resolve the issue. The kindness he expressed is all too rare these days. 10/10 business and ownership

20$ 15 minute-long soggy undercooked wings with the wrong flavor and without the veggies he charged me for. Unprofessional brash owner watching youtube on his phone most of the time.He's also the cook. I saw no gloves used when he walked into the kitchen and i actually can't stomach the wings that he served to me. He was obviously drunk, and there was a seeming tolerance for drunken patrons asleep on their table. I've never seen a woman there, so I wouldn't suggest one go there. I can't imagine how many violations are going on there. St Louis' is around the corner. They actually clean their deep fryers. Tvs are bigger. And people actually go there.

Me and my girlfriend love this place. The wings are the best out of anywhere I've ever been, the man that serves us is very nice and greets us with a genuine smile every time. Great service by him and the atmosphere is great its always playing good music and has all the sports you can think of.

The place is a dive bar. They waiter was rude and the drinks are the same price as moxies or any other chain restaurants. I will never come back here again

UPDATE: 3 months later I was going about my life in the store and I was approached by some extremely disrespectful woman saying " why would I write a nasty review". Last time I checked I am entitled to my own opinion and chasing people in the store does not change my opinion. Get nicer staff who don't harass people!

Spiciest (and most flavourful) wings I've ever had! Try the Power of Nelli. Make sure you have a sweet drink ready.

Owner was very rude to the customer ahead of me and got in to argument with the dash the dishes deliver guy. Restaurant was empty around 7pm and the owner/manager didn't offer any drinks while I wait (his loss since I needed a cold one). Not sure I will come back.

Excellent wings. The wife and kid loved the Chicken burger. High quality chicken perfectly cooked. The fries were also perfect and the potatoe skins we also amazing. Very happy we tried this place out and we will prefer here again.

Didn't dine in so my review will simply be based on food quality. We ordered three pounds of wings (ceasar does Texas, hot honey, and spicy gar par) with a side of fries. I was expecting the wings to be spicier. However, the wing size is appropriate and not small. What's also nice was that celery and carrots were provided unlike another large wing chain.

Great wings! Tried this place for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised how delicious everything was. We ordered the single deal and a single order of wings. The wing flavour on the combo was the Original Mixed Spicy Island which was a tangy tropical dry rub with sauce drizzled on top, spice level was on the medium side.. Pretty neat taste. The single order was the Creamy and Messy Home on The Ranch which was more on the hot side with a lingering heat.. Also very tasty. The fries were nice and crispy as well. There are a ton of different flavours on the menu and we will definitely be back to try out more. Highly recommended!
