Tried to go, but could not find it. Other guests also looking, guess it closed, should really update this profile, for out of town people looking for thr bar.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is absolutely great! The cozy atmosphere, soft lighting just beautiful and also we greatly enjoyed dinner. Everything was handled really nicely from the minute we arrived until we departed. I thank the crew for putting together such a positive experience. I am already looking forward to my next visit.
I recently visited Infinity Ultra Lounge, and unfortunately, it was a deeply disappointing experience. First and foremost, the service was incredibly slow and inattentive. Despite the lounge being only half-full, we waited nearly an hour for our drinks to arrive, and when they finally did, they were incorrect and poorly made.
The ambiance, which is supposed to be a highlight of any ultra lounge, was underwhelming. The lighting was too dim to see anything clearly, and the music was deafeningly loud, making it impossible to hold a conversation. Additionally, the seating was uncomfortable and seemed worn out, hardly what you'd expect from a place that markets itself as a high-end venue.
The crowd was also a letdown. Instead of the upscale clientele that the lounge advertises, it was mostly rowdy and disruptive patrons, which made the environment feel more like a chaotic bar than a sophisticated lounge.
Overall, Infinity Ultra Lounge failed to live up to its promise on nearly every front. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant or upscale night out.

Chicken Vepudu : appetizer, not very appetizing - mostly a tomato based chicken roast. To say this was tasty is only cause the other dishes were so sub par.
Lamb Meatball Curry : tried very hard to identify what the flavour is to the curry, but couldn’t. Seemed like a generic curry pasty with lamb balls in it. Very hard to eat, couldn’t waste either since it’s lamb.
Mixed Veg Korma : not a korma since the tinge/taste of cashew paste was missing. Most veggies are Costco naught pre cut, cauliflower/potato were restaurant prepped.
Gluten free bread (just a variation of plain dosa+utthapam) : true the the name, would recommend over naan and good for curries.
Not sure the high rating, must be people who stick to the safe option of Dosa - which I will assume they do good. We generally try other items not popular in reviews to give the restaurant a holistic review - if not for the dosas I would give this restaurant a pass.

Excellent music festival experience here during the peak of summer. Although it was hot in the venue there were workers who held fans at the side to help ravers cool off. Free water cups at the bar were also great too!
Saw Bryce Vine, had an amazing time
Far and away the best tent during stampede season. The lights, the trees, the amount of bathroom available, the quick, friendly service. I went for a Bryce Vine show. It was actually stunning how good everything flowed and sounded. Very, VERY well done!!
Love the music they’ve been bringing in as of late and love the nostalgic Hifi vibes. However, two things need to addressed - the bathrooms being upstairs is a serious buzz kill. I avoid sports bars and seek out dance clubs. You’re taken out of a good headspace and we’re forced to go upstairs to a sports/top 40 bar and wait in line for what seems like 2?? working washrooms? for 2/3 levels of patrons. Do the math.
It’s really not ideal and I avoid coming here due to this issue. People upstairs are nowhere near the same crowd that’s down.
Also, no coat check. Last year we busted a female attempting to steal items and sifting through everyone’s jackets (mine included). Leads me to think it was also staff as she snuck out the door where the bar is located in shuffle club once we confronted her.

This place needs to show accurate opening and closing times. They close at 2:30am, but google says they open at 12am and close at 5 pm. The staff acted like I was crazy when I brought this up, and I LITERALLY SHOWED THEM THE HOURS ON GOOGLE!! Most clubs close at 2am, so this was a disappointment. Please get it together!!!!!!

We ordered the idly-vada combo, MB special dosa & Rava masala dosa. The sambhar-chutney alongside each item was extremely poor. Though the idly was soft and fluffy, the vada were uncooked from the inside when we explained this to our server, she said she will replace but then “forgot” about it. The stuffing in both the dosa was super less, if you are pricing a dosa at $14-15 you need to ensure you provide food that matches the price you’re asking.

Very good food! We ordered a yellow bean Dahl and the Chicken 65 ( absolutely a must try!!) The staff were very attentive and recommend menu items to us that they like. They can also customize the spice level. We ordered the medium heat on the Dahl but will go spicy next time!
We went to this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. The location is excellent, The decor, open kitchen concept, patio, and atmosphere are great. Bathrooms are in the basement (I suggest ladies and children always go with a companion). Service is OK, the food needs improvement. Appetizers and desserts were salty and very average for the place and price. The presentation was not the best either. The menu also needs to provide a better description of the dishes.
After so many years of trying different Indian restaurants, I can confidently write a detailed review of the what we tried in this restaurant but I will save you the headache and the details, instead I just recommend that you try their food, and highly recommend that you taste their soups.
Very very disappointed with Take out of Samosas ,, 2$ per piece for Refried and Stale Samosas , We ordered 10 samosas and 1 Paneer pakora plate out of 10 samosas 3-4 are dark in Colour means ( check image ) stale and Refried and other are different ,, fresh kind of and they are not ready to admit that it’s not from same batch of samosas at all . Worst service for Take out . Google should add Negative Feedback column for such customer service and food service . They do not even add extra layer of butter paper in bags for Take out .They should improve their Packaging skills for Take out
Our experience at Masala Bhavan exceeded expectations! Despite being in a rush, the service was exceptional, thanks to Anjali who ensured our food was served promptly and with a smile. The Masala Mysore Dosai was a highlight, bursting with flavor and perfectly crispy. Alongside, we indulged in a side of soft, fluffy idli and a steaming bowl of comforting Manchow soup. A delicious meal made even better by the efficient and friendly service. Highly recommended for a quick and satisfying dining experience!
Amazing food, great service. The place could be cleaner though. Noticed stains on the wall and dust collecting in places that should be wiped. Otherwise this is a place you must try.
Went here last night for shuffle club, was charged $20 at the door I turned around to go outside to smoke and she was charging the people behind me $10 to get in. So you guys just pick and choose who pays what so I won't be returning. Says the anime girl with blue hair.

The best french restaurant in Calgary with no doubt.
We have been here several times for dinner and lunch. We're so satisfied with all of the meals we ordered. Every dish was really tasty with flavour. Try their mussels, you'll know what I meant so tasty. Remember to order extra bread to dip with the mussel sauce to enjoy the full flavor in your mouth.

Nice, quaint restaurant - I was craving for moules frites in the city that's done right - this hit the spot. We tried the Provençal and Vaudovan curry Moules frites. I can't take a favorite, they're both delicious. Pair it with their beautiful Chardonnay and order the French Martini to cap it off. We're about 40 kms away from the restaurant, and we'd happily go back to try the rest of the menu items. The calamari was also delicious. I wanted to order the tartare, but it was unavailable when we were there.
Always have a blast performing at the palace.

Came here recently for a special dinner. The atmosphere is amazing and the service is awesome. The food is delicious and the portions are just right! I went with the pork belly for my dinner because it sounded interesting, and the flavors were amazing! The meat was melt in your mouth. We chose to share a dessert, and I would definitely recommend the cheesecake, delicious and perfect sharing size. The cocktails are also very delicious, if you're wanting to give those a try as well and you like some alcohol with your evening.

I would not go there again. Food was bland and had no taste and portions were very small. Spicy food was lacking heat. Pad Thai was overly sweet and pale in color. Meat portions were also lacking, shrimp pieces were even more meager. No sticky rice other than regular white rice. Lady/owner was pushy and seemed impatient. No smile, no thank you, thought Thai people were supposed to be friendly.
Amazing Thai food, had the cashew basil and terminator pad Thai. To start we had the salad rolls and spring rolls. Absolutely amazing and well priced.
Attended an Alestorm concert at The Palace Theatre and it was an unforgettable experience. The venue's historic charm adds to the atmosphere, with fantastic sound quality and mesmerizing visuals, especially the illuminated pillars. Fast lines and friendly staff made the night smooth. Can't wait for more shows here!
So authentic & mix of north/south Indian flavours…. Tried their chef special meal and veg biriyani!! Both the dishes are good and hygiene ✌🏼

Sometimes less is more. The supervisor of cowboys dance hall has shown no gratitude towards it’s mistreated staff (especially during stampede) the person in charge of managing different venues should really take there job seriously, your easily replaceable.
Great spot, my current favorite place to catch some tasty beats after the closure of our beloved HiFi. Small, sweaty and not too serious, like any good dancefloor should be. Would love to see some more DnB or Bass music artists play here, but that is just my personal taste. Keep it up Shuffleclub
We ordered chicken fried rice, chili garlic fish (dry) , and chicken Manchurian for take out. All items were tasty. But I would recommend their chili garlic fish most. It comes with a combination of hot, sweet and tangy flavor. Loved it.
Came here for birthday supper and was not disappointed. Due to low crowds, setting felt intimate. Very nice interior decor & comfortable seating. Fish curry we got was awesome and so was the mushroom rice, but the naan were bit oily for my liking. They also have a decent selection of wine, cocktails & other alcohols. Definitely worth another visit.

Have fallen in love all over again with this wonderful little gem of a restaurant. Tonight, my son & I dined at Purlieu and we were not disappointed. After a minor misstep in late December, I agreed to giving them another chance and so glad I did. The food is absolutely divine, the service is exceptional and the atmosphere is relaxing & calm. I will most definitely return again and again. 5++++ stars in my books!!
Honestly, I have mized feelings about this place. It would be good for dance oriented music performances, but isn't good for chill shows. It really has club vibes and not much seating or table space. I was not super impressed with the shows I've been to so far. It definitely has a club atmosphere, but it doesn't fit the vibes of some of the artists they book. Expect to stand the entire show if you go here.
The poutine is too salty and the duck is too sweet and greasy. The price is expensive. The service and atmosphere is very good.
From an accessibility perspective this is a great and accommodating venue. It was really hard to get in touch with them to confirm they had accessible seating, but once I did I felt comfortable attending a show here and was pleasantly surprised with how good of a spot it actually was.
The accessible seating is at a counter, they provide stools if you are not in a wheelchair but need to sit. They rope off the area so you + your party are the only ones who can access it.
The ramp they use to access the main floor is a bit steep and a bit narrow, but it works.

We had a great time at Block Heater. Venue security were accommodating and professional and made the first and last interactions along with all the ones in the middle with us enjoyable and memorable. What a great way to be welcomed to a great night of love music!

I came down to celebrate my 24th in anticipation that it was gonna be a wicked night and it indeed execute a legendary weekend! Cowboys is an amazing experience, the music is a great mix between country and all time hits and it made for an amazing night. When I myself move down Cowboys will be the spot to go too, it is a great atmosphere, good people and they can throw a good party. 10/10 Would recommend anyone who’s never been.

This place is Incredible! This is the best night out that we've experienced when looking for the Best service. The Best atmosphere. And the Best French food. 'Impeccable' French dishes that Purlieu Bistro offers - Magnificent!!!

The club itself was really nice and very clean the old down side was the music I looked around and half of the people weren’t dancing or didn’t know what the song was the only thing that needs to change is better music
I really like this place. The bar has a good price for cocktails, good dj's to dance, you can play, they have several games
Surely, the Guild is the best place for fine dining, fancy date nights, or special occasions. We celebrated our 2 years of marriage at the Guild. It was worth it. Compared to other fine dining establishments, I often left disappointed because for such high prices, the food was often bland or too salty, or the steak was not done properly. But for the very first time, my wife and I were extremely happy about the food, drinks, service and ambiance. We really enjoyed our time at the Guild.
All the food, including the cocktails she recommended, was delicious and I enjoyed my stay here. It is the best place. We will visit again as soon as possible.

Great club but the dj needs to be replaced immediately and needs to be introduced to 2023 music!!!!! This is not acceptable in this day and age. Like people are typing to turn up in the club but they cannot because of the horrible music. Hire somebody new immediately and your sales will go up I promise. Consider employing the dj that is at nationals. That place had good music people can actually tune up to!!!!!!!

Great top 40 music. Super young crowd. Lots of people celebrating their 18th birthday. Bouncers and staff were friendly.
Always my go to Thai restaurant! Their signature "terminator" dish is a must-try.
I LOVE venues this size •Super friendly staff •GREAT sound •Tiered main floor down to the stage area •Large balcony area on the 2nd floor with awesome views of anything that matters •Excellent view from almost everywhere •Limited but nice seating and booths with table options if desired •As well as a decent amount of room on the floor upfront •Bar areas for drinks.

The food was wonderful, the music was very satisfying, and the service was excellent. This is a great choice for memorable occasions. We went there for our anniversary, and they surprised us with a couple glasses of champagne. I would definitely return here again.
I like the Palace for the most part. The crowd can be a bit rowdy depending on the show. I think they could do a better job on the lighting for some of the shows, it’s too bright. The sound is not amazing but it’s not bad. The N/A options for drinks are pretty weak, it’s 2023, not everyone wants to consume alcohol. The place honestly has a lot of potential if they would make a few thoughtful tweaks. Doesn’t really matter though because as one of the main venues for music acts in town, I’ll end up here.
We enjoy coming to this restaurant for their authentic Indian food, especially South Indian Cuisine dishes. We will order their set lunch sometimes because it’s reasonably priced and our favourite is Tandoori Chicken & Chicken Khorma Rice set served with steamed rice or butter naan. They even have different dishes for different days of the week. We enjoyed the food very much and definitely can taste all the fresh spices and ingredients used. Our other favourite dishes were Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo and Briyani Rice with Lamb and Curry. Also love their delicious idlis, vadas, papadums, gulab jamun and dosai.
I'm not impressed as I usually have amazing experiences. So last night on October 27, 2023 my friends and I had booked a guest list of 15 people booked a week in advance through an employee (Keigan). He told us that our guest list expired at 9:30 pm. However due to the massive line outside it took us a while to get into the building when we eventually did it was, well before 9:30 pm. We go to stand in the VIP line only to be rudely told by the blonde holding the iPad that we had no guest list, however after calling the employee that booked it we had found that our guest list was there but expired at 9:00 pm which NO employee had told us when booking the guest list. The manager then offered to only buy my friends and I a single round of shots ONLY if we paid the $25 fee to get in which we were not doing BECAUSE WE BOOKED A GUEST LIST A WEEK IN ADVANCE AND DUE TO EMPLOYEE AND MANAGEMENT SCREW UP our plans were sabotaged. Most professional establishments would've offered compensation like letting us in SINCE WE ALREADY HAD A GUEST LIST, or even giving us a new one for another night. Expecting us to pay $25/person on top of $20 parking, and overpriced drinks is absolutely ridiculous! (which they over-serve btw; I have my Pro serve and if I remember correctly that's against AGLC policy and can shut down an establishment.) I work in the event industry as well and when management and employees screw up we offer compensation! Don’t recommend going if you have a huge group the employees don’t care.

It was such a beautiful day to walk along Stephen Avenue, and we saw the Guild when our tummies were grumbling.
We got the Fried Mac & Cheese and Crispy Calamari to start. My daughter loved the fried logs of mac & cheese. The Crispy Calamari had a lot of flavor, and the batter was light to the point that it came off easily.
The Lavender Lemonade was very well made. My wife liked her Sunset Fizz.
For mains, we shared the Guild Burger and added House-Smoked Bacon. The burger was delicious and heavy. The fries were crispy and heavily salted.
We also ordered the Baked Meatballs. This was a fantastic dish with a very nice tomato sauce.
We also added a side of fries in case the kids want more. Personally, the fries were pricey given that it was the same amount as those that came with the burger.
Finally, we finished with the Lemon Meringue. It was just the right amount of tartness.

For mains, we shared the Guild Burger and added House-Smoked Bacon. The burger was delicious and heavy. The fries were crispy and heavily salted.
We also ordered the Baked Meatballs. This was a fantastic dish with a very nice tomato sauce.
We also added a side of fries in case the kids want more. Personally, the fries were pricey given that it was the same amount as those that came with the burger.
Finally, we finished with the Lemon Meringue. It was just the right amount of tartness.
Staple for regular dance excursions in Calgary. Have house and techno nights every Friday and Saturday usually free of charge unless a big act is coming. Sweaty and cozy basement with good energy. Bar service is good and friendly.

Pretty average. The service was adequate but not very attentive or friendly. Decor was a weird blend of beautiful art and cliche signs. The food was tasty but unfortunately the portions were quite small. Overall, pretty forgettable.
We went here for our 3 year anniversary! We went on a Tuesday night, which made it quite and the perfect dinner experience. The food was quick to come out. I ordered the mushroom soup and my husband ordered a salad. Both were delicious (maybe it’s just me, but I would’ve liked more salt in the soup). The fish was delicious! Same with the steak. And I had the best drink ever here. Would come again :)
Great night club with a dance floor. on Stampede weekend the place is packed. Though seeing some bad reviews about bouncers but I liked the tight security. They handled drunks with strict hands and it should be like that.
A nice little hole in the wall that serves up some good food. Small Menu & doesn't seat many tables so best to make a reservation. Will definitely be back.
This is not a trendy restaurant... It is basic seating like a dinner... But the food is second to none.. best Thai food I've eaten in Calgary. The menu shows clearly the different food allergies and has numerous vegetarian and vegan options.. the restaurant's walls are covered with humorous sayings and there is something to look at while you are waiting for your meals. Service is fast, often getting your food within 5 to 8 minutes of ordering. I've eaten here a dozen times and will contribute to do so.
If u want to listen to some great House and Techno, this is the Best spot in Calgary!

Came here on Saturday and I was entociacated the bar service. Jordan and Brittany are girls that should be down in Vegas. They could not stop hyping the club up.. and I'm addition so kind. I had an amazing margarita and these two could b the hottest girls I've ever seen. If you're going there on a Friday/Saturday.. I'll be there. Also music was nice.
Great little spot in the basement of Home and Away. Usually find myself here on the weekends for the techno and house events they host. The space is cozy and the dance floor sometimes gets steamy but it’s hands down always a good time. The majority of staff are friendly and welcoming. There generally isn’t an entry fee unless they have Dj’s that are more popular in the industry performing.

i was craving for padseeyou and went here. the serving for the noodles is little although the shrimp are big and a lot. The taste is really good. 4/5 for that. On the other hand the spring roll is too small and mostly just noodle and carrot no meat at all. it’s still fresh and crispy so 2.5/5 and lastly The cashew and basil(pork) 4/5. This is really good. i love the freshness and crunchiness of the dish but the coconut rice isn’t that good. taste like more just steam rice. overall the place is clean and love their quotes on the wall and paintings. overall the food is great
Amazing food!! And wonderful staff!! Went there last night with my husband and we tried 3 appetizers and we both ordered the mussels and fries and shared the cheesecake dessert. All of it were incredible, so satisfying to eat! Love the atmosphere and the service was awesome as well! Will definitely be going back!

They're a cute little bar. They've got great staff, drinks, and food. Somehow they've mixed industrial and eclectic decor to create a cozy atmosphere. Love the drag shows here as well. It's always great to have another LGBT bar in the city.
The girl bartender is sassy in all the right ways.

I've been here a quite a few times and always recommend the space for friends visiting from out of town. The beautiful stained-glass feature is a sight on its own. The times I've been here, I have really enjoyed myself. The drinks are great and the staff are very welcoming!
Beautiful restaurant with some of the best food I've ever had! The steam buns and hummus are incredible, you MUST try them!! I love how they've decorated the place, it's very warm and inviting. Great spot for a date night or even a night out with the family, they are really accommodating to everyone.

Have been to many many restaurants and rarely do I see this done. Have been here for dinner before, and the phone is just as good in the evening as it is during lunch - consistency, plays a huge factor in customer satisfaction. Portion sizes are just right.
Service is always great as usual. Staff are very friendly and courteous, quick to seat you and quick to take your order. Food is fairly quick as well. Can literally do lunch in under an hour.
