This could have been a very different rating if not for the excellent manager at this restaurant. Our party of 4 was initially seated at a high top in the bar. It was so loud and chaotic that we couldn’t even hear the lovely server. We were not at all interested in this type of atmosphere. We would rather go home and eat pizza. I went to the host stand and was helped by the manager and her lovely staff. They immediately moved us to a much nicer booth in the dining room. I have previously had trouble with seating at this restaurant. I will only be specific in my reservation for now on. We are not high top guests. The food was good as always. If you are into beef this place is top notch and the bread pudding desert was delicious!

Really disappointed with this experience. The service was good, but the food was terrible. Steak was extremely undercooked, potato’s dry and Smokey flavored (overwhelming smoke flavor) and the salad was nothing special with foul tasting dressing. We spent lot at the restaurant for dinner. I would not recommend this restaurant for food unfortunately. Drinks were fine

Amazing food, service, and interior! We’ve had plenty of great steaks and these were some of the best (Filet and NY Strip). The garlic mashed potatoes were fantastic. Service was incredible and the interior is amazing.
I have to say one of my worst dining experiences ever. 15 + minutes before we got someone's attention to order a drink. 30+ minutes to get our first drink. Table next to us had eaten their full meal before getting their drinks. 45 minutes to get a vodka/soda. Couldn't find a bottle of wine we ordered. When we got the bottle of wine, we had to open it because the waitress didn't know how. Finally got appetizer at about an hour. Waitress was polite but kept saying they were short staffed which was obviously true. Ordered gumbo, $36 for some rice, 1 shrimp, 1 small piece of lobster claw and one other small piece of something. Worst rip off for dinner I've ever received. I feel bad leaving this review but if you're going to charge these prices, you need to be so much better. Be ashamed of yourselves for this type of experience.
One of our favorite restaurants and a wonderful location. Luke, our waiter was superb. Very knowledgeable. He made our evening more pleasant. thank you
Have been to the restaurant several times and always had a fantastic meal and cocktails. We had reservations for 6 at 6:00. When we sat at our table we were told that they only had 2 seafood specials, 1pork loin left. The restaurant was not that busy to be out of the specials by 6:00. Also had to wait for cocktails as the bar ran out of Tito's vodka, Jack Daniels, and no milk. Was told they could not make a chocolate martini. Waitress was fantastic, bartender was somewhat rude,. Had raved about the restaurant with our 4 other friends but will probably not return.
This is a perfect bar to grab a rink and sit in the Adirondack chairs and watch the sunset. The meal itself was lacking. Service was slow. We had issues with our food and found the accompaniments for our dishes to be lacking

This spot was hip, fun, and phenomenal. The atmosphere inside was typical steakhouse; dark, tempting, and auspicious. The outdoor seating was gorgeous, lively, and filled with beautiful greenery. We celebrated my birthday here and our waiter was exceptional. He was attentive, humorous, and kind. The meal was impeccable. The waygu tomahawk steak was buttery and smooth; I highly recommend. Between the service, ambiance, and food quality, The Lost Fire deserves a 12/10
Fantastic dinner for 9. Apps were wonderful and included delicious fresh oysters! Sevice was excellent and can't wait to return. Green lawn and private beach as well!
So out of the happy hour drink at 4pm.. didn't offer anything else in lieu of.. and why are they mowing right in the middle of the happy hour.. They don't open till 3.. You mean they couldn't more the lawn at 230. Or even right at 3.. why I gave atmosphere a 2 other wise decent view nice chairs.. would be much nicer without a lawn mower going right behind my head.. must have been a new bartender too..

I’m sure you are wondering why my star reviews are all over the place. Well, the building and atmosphere was sexy and rustic at the same time, so I was excited when walking in. We didn’t plan enough to get a table therefore our reservations were at the bar. Our first bar-server/tender was attentive and nice. I was anxiously awaiting my 18oz Rib Eye and creamed spinach especially after the burrata was so good. The steak came first and at first was tender and delicious. But not sure if I needed a better knife or the steak was too tough but 4 bites in I was struggling. My husband ordered the pork chop, which was huge and good until it cooled down and became very dry. The mashed potatoes were yummy however! But the BIG disappointment was the creamed spinach that was so over salted, I probably should have checked my blood pressure. The bar-server/tender we initially had went off to make drinks and we were stuck with the one who decided that we were awful because we sent back the creamed spinach. Even though we made friends with each couple beside us. We didn’t order dessert so I cannot comment there.

Great atmosphere, wonderful food, fantastic service. One of the best dining experiences my husband and I have had all year! After a week of seafood, this steak hit the spot and was prepared perfectly! Cocktails and dessert were also top notch.
Honestly, the best place to watch the sunset! It was absolutely beautiful and we could sit outside in their lounge chairs and relax. We got oysters that were also fresh and super tasty to match with the wine.
Our first time going to this place. I had the best tasting steak I've had in a long time! Garret our server was very personable and informative about the menu. Only odd thing was the online booking didn't work out, we weren't the only ones who had an issue with the online booking, but we were able to get a table for 2 still. Awesome experience overall!
The Atmosphere was great. Eating outside in the igloos was a nice touch. A little cold but they had Clean blankets for us to keep warm. The Burger was extraordinary and the Cheesecake was amazing. Definitely recommend the Pretzel. I would recommend giving this place a try when in Kennebunkport, Maine
