Really liked the hotel interior. We had a junior suite, which was beautiful. If the room was smaller, maybe I would have felt differently. The service is near to non existent, it seems like the hotel is on a budget and they don’t even give bottled water. Sometimes the concierge is not present and the hotel seems understaffed. Also, the lobby could use some revamp/renovation, such a beautiful building that gets carried away by its lobby. We spent most of the time touring Venice so the setup was amazing, however if you’re looking to stay in a complete hotel and expect more from the service, them this is not a good option. Also, the way to go here is with the junior suite, which really makes it feel like a 5 star hotel. I think this hotel has so much potential under a different management.
Excellent music for who’d be in their late 30s early 40s here. And the elderly, but who’s counting :)) Cocktails rock too. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a break from the local beer houses. You don’t have to live like a venetian when you are visiting Venice. Don't let the tourist trappers fool you.
Im Ca' Sagredo residiert man als Gast wie einst die Dogen. Ein wunderschöner Palazzo, mit atemberaubenden Säulen und Ausblicken. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt.
Auch das Zimmer hat uns positiv überrascht. Wir hatten die günstige Kategorie gebucht und waren auf ein sehr kleines Zimmer eingestellt. Das Zimmer war aber sehr geräumig (Queensize-Bett, zwei Stühle mit Tisch, Schreibtisch, begehbare Garderobe, sehr großes Badezimmer) und sehr geschmackvoll und schön eingerichtet. Vom Fenster aus war sogar der Canal Grade (seitlicher Blick) zu sehen. Damit hatten wir nicht gerechnet.
Eine absolute Empfehlung.
Nur dass in der Hotelbar ein einfacher Aperol Spritz (16 Euro) fast das gleiche kostet, wie die mit sehr hochwertigen Zutaten toll gemixten Cocktails wie Sidecar und White Lady haben wir nicht ganz verstanden.

The view from this place is just stunning! The service was great. The waiters were very friendly. We enjoyed some amazing view on a sunny day with a good coffee. Well done!
Das Hotel ist extrem heruntergekommen. Der Teppich, die Wände (Wandtapeten), Decken sind fleckig und dreckig. Die Polster und Deko sind wirklich total alt. Im Bad schimmelts an Ecken und Kanten. Die Lüftung von der Küche oder so wird bei uns im Flur rausgelassen, sodass es nach Fritiertem stinkt. Wir haben nicht einmal eine Flasche Wasser bekommen (auch nicht bei der Ankuft. Als ich nach Wasser gefragt habe, meinten die, ich solle es aus der Minibar nehmen und bezahlen). Das Viertel scheint ein Assi-Viertel zu sein, ist nicht schön und auch weiter weg vom Zentrum. Also, es ist echt das schlechteste Hotel, indem wir jemals waren, wir haben uns überhaupt nicht wohl gefühlt und mussten schauen, wie wir die Zeit draußen überbrücken - und das für mehr als 200€ die Nacht. Absolut kein 5-Sterne Hotel, total ekelhaft

Der Andrang ist groß - jedoch lohnt sich das Warten allemal! Die Cicchetti sind deliziös und der Service (trotz Stress und dem ganzen Andrang!!!) sehr herzlich und freundlich.

Liebe an diesen Laden. Die Kellner sind cool, der Besitzer ein wunderbarer Kauz und in den Fernseher laufen Musikvideos aus alten Zeiten. An der Decke baumeln BHs von Gästen und das Bier ist lecker. Waren gestern dort und müssen heute unbedingt wieder hin. Verwundert war ich über die verschiedenen Biergläser aus Deutschland, die nicht zum Bier passten.

Wir waren auf Wunsch unserer Freunde auf einem Café bzw. einen Aperol auf der wunderschönen Terrasse mit Blick auf den Canal Grande. Service sehr zuvorkommend und sogar auf deutsch. Entsprechend dem Ambiente auch mit Abstand der teuerste Aperol unseres Aufenthaltes. Aber allemal wert aufgrund der Aussicht.

Only place open after 12 in the area, we came in at 1230 and whilst they weren't super excited about serving us they graciously let us in anyway. Had a delicious spritz with complementary almonds, hazelnuts and chips. Setting is unbelievable, everything was absolutely class. Having said that, the spritzs were $27 euro a pop, so be prepared, but totally worth it for a thirsty smurf
A board near the bar informed us that a cappuccino was 1,80 Euros and a hot chocolate 4,50 Euro. We later paid 5,00 Euros for each cappuccino and 6,00 Euros for a very small hot chocolate. That’s ripping off people to me! If we had had that information in the beginning we would have had our coffee elsewhere, to be honest!
After watching Stanley Tucci visit this place on his Italy special of Venice, when we found out this place was only a 3 minute walk from out hotel we HAD to go. Needless to say it was fantastico 👌. We asked for a good wine recommendation and were given a local Lugana and it was the perfect pairing to go with what we had picked out to try food wise.

We waited 30 mins in a queue. I believe it is somehow on intention as the staff is quite slow and chill in a good sense 😅 Of course it is not bad for the owner’s side. However, the long waiting period becomes a bit hard to bear merging with the problem of seating and crowd for the customers.
Anyway, we liked the place and the quality. The prices are a bit higher than the Venezia average. If you’re OK waiting on long queues, you may give this place a try.

Shockingly terrible experience. While the restaurant generally seems close to quality of the other tourist focused cafes in the area, the primary reason for my review level was the yelling waiter who couldn't be more rude to myself or a number of other tourists in the area. The man (older and wearing glasses) was nearly to the point of being aggressive while yelling inaudibly in Italian. The crowd seemed in shock by the behavior. While I don't know what upset him, the experience was a severe departure from an otherwise perfect day in Venice. Highly recommend avoiding this staff member and venue.

A great little place so much so I even went twice! Had various cicchetti (ranging in price depending on what it was) and prosecco. The service was great - warm and friendly.
Schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf das rege treiben auf dem Wasser. Sehr aufmerksamer Service mit passender Weinempfehlung. Küche für ein 5-Sterne Haus eher durchschnittlich mit potential nach oben. Kalbsleber venezianische Art war nicht sauber von Sehnen und Schläuchen gesäubert, ansonsten wäre es ein schönes Gericht. Suppe sehr lecker und Tatar extrem fein und zart, aber gewürzarm. Alles in allem ein schöner Besuch in Venedig.
Best spot to have a drink for sunset or during the day! The service and food are amazing, but the views just go beyond any expectations. Better to book in advance or get there between busy times. The lounge is actually fully branded by Riva and it is part of The Gritti Palace.
Luxury hotel bar, with outdoor seating right on the grand canal. Pricey cocktails with an excellent view. 33€ espresso martini. They have a falconer on site which keeps the pigeons away!

Nice overall experience and very tasty cocktails near the canal. If you can adjust your budget to the high prices (expect to pay around 30€ for a cocktail and 10€ for coffee) only one thing I would like to point out is that the service could be more welcoming and friendly to have the whole “high end” experience of a hotel like this. For both of the times we went there both servers looked like they were in a hurry and not very happy to serve you.
I absolutely loved this Bar! Me and my friend visited Venice for a few days from the UK and stumbled across this bar on the first night, and we found we just had to end every day here! The servers were so friendly and attentive to us, and the cocktails were some of the best I’ve ever had. The bras on the ceiling combined with the impeccable music made this bar so unbelievably original and familiar. I would highly recommend having a few drinks here (after 10 if you’re looking for a buzz of people) and I will definitely be returning next time I’m in Venice!

It's a decent, quiet relaxed bar on the main touristy way to San Marco. Lovely staff, bit overpriced but funky. It has American feeling to it. So if you were flying for hours all the way from US you better look for more Italian place
Nice bar located close to the Ponte Rialto next to Canal Grande. The place is nice to chill around and enjoy the nice view. The atmosphere is nice and on sunny days it is windy. The waiters are somehow in a bad mood. The toilets are small but clean. Two coffees (late) with ice costs 10€. We didn't receive the invoice.

Amazing location, premium prices, great service, delicious cocktails and one of the best oysters I had in Venice.
We had 5 cicchetti and asked the staff to select what they thought were the best ones. We had a cod and garlic, salmon and cream cheese, prawn, ham and vegetables, and fried fish on a skewer. All were delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the shop itself had a lovely atmosphere. There was a queue and the place is clearly popular. Would certainly return!

This was our last hotel on the tail end of a 12-day trip. Great location on Grand Canal, easy access gondola service (shared and private), good deck restaurant overlooking canal and convenient to sights. Common area rooms are gorgeous. However, the carpeting is old and stained and leaves a negative first impression. We were in rooms 110 and 111, directly under the breakfast restaurant/kitchen. Through our ceilings, we heard walking, chairs being moved, dishes clanking, etc.,. If this sort of thing matters to you, just keep in mind. They did a nice job with fresh towels and linens and cleaning. For a five-star hotel, I would have enjoyed a complimentary drinking water and/or espresso/coffee in rooms, better Wi-fi and USB charging, or voltage converters. Allow me to emphasize the good attitude and service, but the rest isn't on par with other hotels in the same category in Siena, Florence or Rome.

Historical building at a great location. Our room was facing the canal, which was nice. Decor is not modern (as expected) yet felt luxurious in a Venice way. ;) A note for the staff- perhaps consider refreshing the carpet (there were several stains here and there). Also wifi from the room was not working during the entire stay (worked fine elsewhere in the hotel). Breakfast was a bit disappointing for a 5 star hotel. These small cons were made up by the accommodating staff and excellent service! Check out their rooftop terrace (great views!) and consider taking a water taxi if traveling from/to the train station during hot summer days.

I LOVE that this place is still around! I used to go here when I worked on cruise ships 15 years ago! They have amazing sangria, which you can buy a whole pitcher of, which I used to but since I’m older now I just had 2 this time! They also serve food. I’ve never had their food, but if it’s just as good as the drinks than you are in good hands! The service is always incredible. And the ambience is really cool because they have bras hanging up on the ceiling. I donated mine like 15 years ago but I couldn’t find mine. What did they do with it? Hmmmmm. Anyway, I loved to go back here 15 years later. And this is a stop. I will always make when in Venice…
We were a group of 5 staying at the hotel around the corner on a trip to Venice. We ate at the Dining Room twice. The food was amazing, a small menu but between us we sampled it all and everything was incredible. The service was wonderful too, including excellent suggestions of local wines. The Soave in particular was excellent. Thank you!

Love it! I was 3 nights in Venice and spent 2 nights here! Drinks are fine but the foods are great and big portion. Music fine, the staff are friendly. The prices are expensive compare to design but worth the taste of the foods! Additionally you have to pay 12% service.

Sehr schönes Café in guter Lage, direkt an der Straße. Cappuccino ist für meinen Geschmack etwas bitter ( 1,40 Euro). Sehr freundliches Personal. Es gibt auch kleine Sandwiches, Snacks. Man kann auch draußen sitzen. ( Oktober 2022 )

Super Lage und wunderschöne Aussicht. Wir hatten jedoch an dem Abend einen sehr gestressten Kellner der beide Cocktail Gläser verschüttet uns gebracht hatte. Bei einem 5-Sterne Hotel darf soetwas nicht vorkommen wenn der Cocktail 25€ kostet und insbesondere sollte man den Kellner nicht darauf hinweisen müssen bei den Preisen, dass wir verschüttet Gläser serviert bekommen...

Ich war nach 5 Jahren wieder im Naranzarina. Die Lage kurz vor der Rialtobrücke direkt am Kanal ist unverändert spektakulär, die Bedienung unglaublich freundlich, die Preise nach wie vor moderat, lediglich das Essen war ein bisschen langweilig, deshalb gibt es diesmal einen Stern weniger. Aber dennoch: absolut empfehlenswert!
Finalmente un bel bar in Piazza Barche! Locale curato e pulito, ottime le brioches al mattino, fresche, varie e non le classiche "surgelate".
Vale sicuramente la pena una sosta anche per pranzi e spuntini, con una selezione di panini, tramezzini, crostini ed altro ancora, sempre preparati freschi e con una buona dose di fantasia e qualità.

Great place, great food. Moreover I forgot my bag with the ID card and money here, I remembered next day in the morning. I went there and they kept it for me. The owner was very kind! Thank you very very much!
If you are reading this it means you are about to go to the right place. An extremely good authentic place where you find real Venetian food. Of course you need to know what to order. But if you are up for a bit extra than the shallow touristy dishes, you’ll find it here.

Ein herrlich gelegenes kleines Restaurant/Bar in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Rialto Brücke. Unser Tisch war um 21 h dann vom Wasser umspült, was dort wohl häufiger vorkommt, denn alle Kellner hatten schnell Gummistiefel an.
Die Atmosphäre ist locker und der Ton auch. Die Karte zeigte Tagesgerichte für die wir uns entschieden haben. Das Beef Tartare war hervorragend und sogar das mitgereichte Brot. Zum ersten Mal kein Industrieweissbrot. Ich hatte eine Picanha, die eigentlich aus Brasilien kommt. Das Fleisch kam aus Italien, aber die Zubereitung war wie in der Heimat des Gerichtes, und zwar ganz ausgezeichnet. Ebenso die Beilagen, und der Preis stimmte auch. Wir wollten am letzten Abend noch einmal dort essen, jedoch ist Montags Ruhetag. Schade !!!

Zum ersten Mal kein Industrieweissbrot. Ich hatte eine Picanha, die eigentlich aus Brasilien kommt. Das Fleisch kam aus Italien, aber die Zubereitung war wie in der Heimat des Gerichtes, und zwar ganz ausgezeichnet. Ebenso die Beilagen, und der Preis stimmte auch. Wir wollten am letzten Abend noch einmal dort essen, jedoch ist Montags Ruhetag. Schade !!!

Excellent. After a couple of days eating not so great, overpriced food in Venice, this restaurant restored my faith in Italian food. Both our meals were delicious, cooked to perfection and the staff were fantastic. I highly recommend having a special night out here.

Bar di provincia. Personale molto gentile e cordiale. Disponibile solo carta stampata quotidiani locali. Fanno da 0Arrone le slot machine collocate nel centro dello spazio. Possibile spazio in esterno. Il bar ė anche tabaccheria. Caffe strong e di qualità, ottime brioche.
