So we came for dinner, the food and the setting were lovely however we felt that the staff were very dismissive mainly a waiter and a some bar staff. We asked for cutlery and dips and were told to “get them ourselves” I would come back for the food however this put a slight dampener on our evening.

Hadn’t been here in a while since I have moved over east but came here with my family and had a massive wake up call that this is not the restaurant I once loved. We were seated timely, ordered our drinks and they came all fine. Ordered our food and waited and waited until all pf our food had come except for one member of our party. We then asked the waitress if they could check on our food (this was around 8:30pm) to which she returned and told us that they had made an error where they did not put through the item we were waiting on despite the waitress who took our order confirming every item… and that now the kitchen is closed so we cannot have anything else. We were obviously shocked and asked the waitress (who was only 17 yet given the responsibility of dealing with this which is also ridiculous poor girl) if she would grab the manager and she left to get them. Chatting and waiting it was well past 9 the manager finally approached us after seeing him walk past us multiple times and he informed us that basically there was nothing he could do except offer us dessert. We were obviously unhappy with this and asked them if they could just make us one meal as it is ridiculous they couldn’t just do this after their error. Then he left again and we waited again another 20 minutes by which time it was about 9:15 and he came back and offered to make only the pan fried menu items but at this time we had all finished our meals and had shared some of our meals with the one person that had not eaten so we did not want to wait especially since they were not offering to make what he originally ordered. I myself have worked in hospitality and yes these things happen however it is ridiculous that you would not fix the situation by making one last meal. He also argued with us when we said that dessert is not a good compensation as they hadn’t eaten dinner and we’re waiting - he said ‘It is better than nothing’. Disgusting service. Will not only not recommend but will advise others to turn away. This place has gone so down hill. Such a shame.

Great food selection, great spacious venue, staff are friendly and proactive. Just a solid, all rounder pub/restaurant. Very reliable

it has no vibe whatsoever. We only ate chips in the bar area,so can't comment on food. Over priced drinks,probably the norm for perth. Great location. Miss the old mullaloo pub and vibe. Dj was awful. Maybe had 5 good songs all night. Closes 12 sharp.

I was here for Melbourne cup day my first time for such an occasion. The staff were amazing and so attentive. The food was fantastic and spaced out so we could bet and watch the race. The whole bar and restaurant was fully booked but it didn’t feel too packed or busy. I go to MBH quite a lot and I have to say I’ve never had bad service and the food has always been great. Keep up the good work.

Great food here in this large pub. We had the pork belly, Korean chicken bites and squid to share and they were all yummy. The rib-eye grilled steak and jus was the best steak I've had in a while.

I’d booked lunch for three of us at 12pm. We waited by the door for several minutes before being led to an isolated table at the far end of the balcony. We sat there without even being offered water for the next 25 minutes. At that point we decided to get up and leave - ironically unseen by staff. We walked across the road to Swell and were seated straight away. We had an amazing lunch & left a $20 tip for the excellent service and great food. The contrast between the two restaurants was night and day. Won’t be going back to MBH.

As a semi Vegan, it's always great to see a Vegan Menu at any restaurant.
These guys have had one for a couple of years now.
It certainly makes it easier to choose where to eat when they have so many options.

Staff are awesome, views are not bad too. Food is reasonably priced.

Food is really good, but it's not great.
My burger was ok, it was probably a touch dry and could have done with a tad more sauce..
Tacos were alright. Too much sauce though for this dish.
Bruschetta was as per the usual.

We need to support places like this though. The more vegetarian and vegan dishes on a menu can only be a good thing.

Alcohol selection is not terrible either.
I had Otherside IPA. Locally made in WA!
