I took my partner on a date here and the food was lovely, I love oysters, and this is the place to go for oysters! Fresh and salty, their cocktail sauce was excellent, and they even served cocktail sauce with the Poutine where I would have expected ketchup which I think really made it feel special. The server was very nice and checked in on us frequently, if you chose to go you should get there early for fresh oysters and don't forget dessert because the Chocolate Torte was absolutely mouth watering!

My only criticism would be: It seemed that for larger groups it would be suggested to reserve a table since there isn't a ton of space. They gave us only one napkin, but once I needed to use it to clean my mouth, I had to put my utensils on the bare table. I would have been more comfortable if we were provided two napkins one for our laps and faces and the other for the utensils.

P.S. online it says they do 12 dozen oysters they only do 6 but I guess you could order two half dozen.

But, the table we were sitting looked right into the ladies washroom and ever time the door closed it banged so hard it made us jump! I had to switch chairs with my wife to fell comfortable. The restaurant was very full and no other table was available.

Came here for some delicious oysters and decided to try some other things. There was not too many people here and it wasn’t too hot so we decided to sit outside and everyone decided to sit outside because the weather was so beautiful and the atmosphere was amazing. Zach is great, along with Pete and Bob, they all did amazing. They made sure that we had water.,Our plates were cleared. They were checking on us and asking if we needed anything. The only thing I would add is the beef short ribs needed to be a little bit more rendered and the polenta , a little bit more salt. The restaurant is super clean and there are plenty of staff working, which is great to see because some restaurants are always shorthanded.

Delicious food and lovely staff. The happy hour menu is also great. Loved the scallops, poutine, salmon dip and corn. Drinks are also tasty. Nice rustic chic atmosphere. Would def come back.

Excellent food, great atmosphere, and super service. Wishing they have this same exact restaurant in Atlanta, GA. Most definitely 5 star out of 5. Highly recommended.

Wonderful service from Matthew and delicious food. The happy hour was a great deal. We loved the oysters, mussels and beet gnocchi.

Had an excellent dinner here on our initial visit. Some of the best oysters we've ever had! If you intend to catch their happy hour, you'll be best to get there ~15-30 minutes prior to it ending. We arrived 5 minutes early and that was apparently too late to get the deals. We still enjoyed the place.

I have spent a lot of time in Cajun land and have struggled to find real Cajun food in Washington. This is the place. The gumbo was fantastic with rice, chicken, sausage, shrimp, peppers, onions, okra and spices, etc. The preparation was the best I've had. They corn bread was just that - real corn bread. The menu was what any good cajun wants.

Absolutely love this place! We come to Bellingham a couple of times a year and this is one of our stops! We always do brunch and I love the bloody Mary but make sure you ask for the jalapeno or spicy vodka depending on what they are infusing. The shrimp and grits were delicious and the regular breakfast was well cooked with the Cajun potatoes almost being the star if it wasn't for the biscuits! Those are to die for!

Amazing shrimp and grits! Would definitely come back for it. Was a great spot for a casual date night. Would love to try more items on the menu.

Food and service was amazing, Megan our bartender was fantastic.
Must have are the Judd cove oysters, and the mussels they were out of this world. We had the chocolate tart for dessert and it was Rockstar. The only thing keeping this from being a five-star review was a very limited number of wines by the glass. So happy we came in here.

Went here for the first time and the food was fabulous, not sure if it’s close to what Cajun food is actually like but it was so flavorful and delicious! Well seasoned! Our waitress was amazing and constantly checked on us! I got the fried green tomatoes and the pork chops and it was all so delicious. My pork chop wasn’t dry at all. Brussels sprouts were beautifully seasoned! They are on the spending side but I don’t mind was worth it. I highly recommend this place! Well decorated place, lighting fits the atmosphere really well! They did have gluten free options as well!

I love this place and think it has some of the best food in town. The shrimp and grits are my favorite meal in Bellingham... so creamy and flavorful! Their biscuits are also next level and better than any others I've found in the region. My S.O. is from the South and loves their gumbo. There's also a chill vibe inside perfect for weekend brunch.

The food here is amazing. The drinks were great. Our server was so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend this restaurant! We'll definitely be coming back.

My partner and I have been here a few times, we typically sit at the bar but tonight was our anniversary so we made reservations and sat at a table. Our server was very kind and attentive and gave us just the perfect amount of attention. 😊 we had some oysters and a salad, followed by the halibut entree and the mussels accompanied by a bottle of Bordeaux. The evening was overall excellent. From the hostess who sat us, the bartender who delivered our drinks and everyone else in between! Thank you for such a lovely evening. Wish we remembered our servers name.

The smell on the outside, alone, was so amazing. It's dog friendly for the outdoor seating. We came for brunch and it was fairly busy because it was move-in weekend for the freshmen at the college. Food was delicious. Drinks and everything weren't terribly priced; the atmosphere was eclectic and cozy.

Lovely experience here! I came for dinner with my family and we sat on the back patio which was perfect. I got the sauteed lion's mane and the beet salad (both pictured) and would recommend both, really flavorful and beautiful presentation. The happy hour is great as well and service was absolutely top notch. Inside was cute as well, could definitely see sitting in the bar area as a cute date night. Excellent go-to spot in Bellingham!

I love bringing friends here when they visit from out of town. The raw oysters are perfect! I tried the beet salad and the saffron corn chowder which were both amazing. The fish and chips are also always a great choice. Great place to go with friends, family, dates, or special occasions!

Service was great, food was fabulous, and greatly enjoyed sitting on the outdoor balcony, even with the occasional alley "entertainment" below.

I especially appreciated our server asking if I wanted the chowder 1st! Most places push the food all at once, and it was a delight to enjoy the meal at a proper pace.

I will for sure be back.

Oysters Rockefeller, beet salad and mussels were all really good. Others had the fish and chips and poutine which they said were good as well. Fresh oysters were a hit also.

Took my girlfriend here for her birthday. It was such a great experience. The back deck area was great and the food and service were even better. I wish I could remember our server's name but he wore a kilt and was so incredibly friendly and helpful. He definitely elevated our experience. The food was equally fantastic.

While there was a little bit of a wait, there were some interesting shops nearby we looked at.

The cornbread, hush puppies, hurricane, and etouffee were delicious. The catfish was juicy but needed a little more spicing in the breading.

Loved every dish and drink we had here! Great cocktails and wine selection. The oysters were fresh and delicious. We also had the scallops, the poutine with pork belly, the ribeye steak, and the chocolate torte. Everything was amazing!

First time coming down to Bellingham from up north Canada since 2010 for my 6year anniversary and had the pleasure of being seated in Garrell’s section, who was very engaging and lovely. Seeing as it was Tuesday night, service was also quite casual and relaxed. It was a nice change of pace and exactly why we decided to leave the hustle bustle of the big city for the day.

Food was great! There’s not a lot of options for southern food in Vancouver. The shrimp and grits was absolutely insane! So rich and decadent, honestly between him and I we still had leftovers to take home. Highly recommend. We also ordered the oyster shooter, jambalaya and gumbo, and they were all good too, however the star was definitely the shrimp&grits. Cornbread is prob one of the best I’ve ever tasted: so moist and delicious.

Definitely will return in the future.
