Amazing boulderhall. Unfortunately, they let kids play in the training section, unsupervised. I've even seen kids climbing and sitting on top of the pull up bars, more than 2 meters high. If someone falls from that height , the outcome might not be nice. I hope they do something about it and learn from the bad experiences of other gyms.

Excellent equipment, brilliant boulder problems, friendly staff. Will definitely visit again if possible.

Whenever we visit a new city, we go to the local bouldering gym because why not? This is place has by far the best route setting among 20+ gyms that I have visited. It is not the largest, not the most spacious, not the coolest, but definitely the one with best set of routes. Wide variety of styles that perfectly fits their grades. Hats off to the routesetters!

Absolutely amazing bouldering gym! We came from London and are typically deterred from trying other gyms as route-setting can differ so drastically. I personally prefer more technique based, static, and balance-associated movements and this gym provided me with just that. The grading is extremely fair and allows for great progression to harder problems. All the staff was lovely and the cafe area was really great! Would highly recommend going to this gym whether you are just visiting Rotterdam or are looking for a base to train!

It's was incredible experience for my and my daughter. Children can climb as young as 7 years old, you can register on the website for a trial lesson. There is also a discount for the Rotterdam Pass. There is convenient bicycle parking, a changing room with a shower. You can have a snack and drink coffee. Very friendly staff! Affordable prices - ideal for training and for fun.

Fantastic experience at Monk’s retail shop today in particularly a staff named Bruno, as he shows great knowledge of the products and clear understanding of the customer needs. Thank you again for your great assistance thus my bf bought a boulder shoes that suits him perfectly! Nevertheless, the boulders routes are great as always!

We had a good time here.

The front desk is a bit chaotic, and waiting times can be a bit long.
The place is big, well lit and promotes a laid-back atmosphere.
The holds were very dirty on some routes, making you slip and fall off. Not something you want when high up.

The difficulty is a bit easier as I'm used to but the grading was very even across most boulders.

The shop is great and filled with monk branding but also DO, black diamond, and Patagonia.

The food looked tasty, but I only had coffee and that was ok.

Pricey, but not very expensive.
