Every single beer was amazing! The brewer, Jordan, is behind the bar to help you pick out what you’d like, and he’s a delight and very knowledgeable/creative with the drinks he makes. Cocktails also available. It’s also a fun space with board games and live music as well! We will definitely be back!!

Great brewery, good staff, amazing beers

I have been to Alternative Medicine Brewing Company twice and had positive experiences. I live in Brooklyn now and come up to see friends and family and I really wish this place was around when I when was living in Fleetwood. They make a very good IPA with Juice Cleanse, their environment is fantastic, they have a super cozy nook and the bathrooms are incredibly clean. Caribbean Soul Food literally hits the spot. Also, the owners and employees are super friendly. Mount Vernon really needs more great small businesses like this and I hope to keep coming back in the future for great beer.

I had the pleasure of visiting this brewery. It is definitely a gem in Mount Vernon. It has a great ambiance, lovely workers at the bar. The owner is very knowledgeable and really is passionate about his work and the many delicious inspired brews! They host family friendly great events and are great for a date night. Can't wait to go back!

Had an amazing time chatting with the co-owner while enjoying a few hoppy Ales! Besides the beers, I appreciate the creativity with the food offering. They partnered with a restaurant next door and opened a window through the brewery itself for customer's convenience. Great out of the way spot that surprises when you open the door. Lots of room for a crowd or event. Nice home grown beer menu. Nice long bar and friendly service. Food options I didn't try.

Amazing space and the selection of beers was impressive - most brewed on premises. Loved that they had taster sizes so we got to try them all. Service was on point. We’ll be back for sure.

Love this place. Great addition to Mount Vernon businesses. Really nice highest quality beers, a very thoughtful and diverse selection of their own brews plus guest taps to round it out. The space is just beautiful - everything is perfectly curated and crafted, with key nods to the neighborhood from the decor to the cocktail menu. Perfect event space - trying to come up with a reason to have a party - and the window into the Caribbean restaurant is brilliant. Steps from Mount Vernon East Metro-North station (and its parking lot). Always the friendliest folks on both sides of the bar.
