Reviews

We stopped by for a late lunch and as it was too cool inside we sat on the covered patio. Noise level wasn’t bad near the road so we had a delightful time. Our waiter did a great job serving really tasty seafood. We will return!
A rare 5/5! High quality food with a large selection of portions and prices. Certain elements can be hit or miss (sauce, portion vs price, etc.) but the food itself will still be quality. My favorite was the steak rolls, little cut up cheesy Jamaican beef patties & a tangy dipping sauce, it could qualify as an entree 100%.
Service was great, our server (Jacob H.) was nice, professional, quick, and attentive.
The vibe of the restaurant was chill but fancy, our table had a good amount of room and the chairs were comfy & accessible.

Food is fine but service wasn’t great. Francesco was our server and when I asked for a recommendation his response was “ma’am, I’m not choosing your dinner for you”. It was really awkward and uncomfortable. I feel like asking for recs isn’t an unreasonable request? It really put a damper on the mood of our table. I would have said something privately to them but apparently he’s an owner so I guess this attitude comes from the top…
I just love Stoney River… I usually get the same thing every time because it’s just that good… and i’m so boring lol.. Before I start their dinner rolls are amazing ‼️ So you really can’t go wrong with the Steak Right???? I always get mines well done It was yummmmyyyy and it’s never dry very juicy.. the grilled shrimp… omg their big and their seasoned good.. My daughter always get the Salmon on the plank with her mashed potatoes and broccoli.. And We both had the lemon drop mojitos ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👌🏽👌🏽Thank you so much for my birthday card!
Dated atmosphere. Could use a face-lift. Steaks are not prime cuts and definitely not cooked to perfection.
Only 1 single malt available - in a steakhouse!!!
Place has really gone downhill. But still pricey. Mediocre at best.
Went for a date night had a great time. Service was amazing. Food came out quick and was very delicious. Also accommodating to kids as they had a kid menu would definitely go again.

Authentic Italian restaurant in Roswell GA!
I visited this restaurant because my friend recommended.

I ordered VITELLO PIZZAIOLA & RIGATONI LORENZO & chocolate chip crème brûlée
Definitely recommend veal over chicken and try their authentic homemade dessert!

I enjoyed how it was not too salty & not too creamy. It was light and healthy tasting yet flavorful. Since it was my first time, I asked my server for recommendations and he said “everything”.. I asked for dessert recommendations and he said I dont do recommendations.
I wish my server was little bit more friendly and explain things so that I could have pleasant experience. There is not a lot of picture on yelp or google review.

It is definitely not americanized Italian food so I enjoyed it but wish the service was better.
We had a great time here for our Valentine's dinner. The food was suberb. We got the prime rib, chicken biscuits, steak rolls, crab cake and sweet potato casserole. Everything was so good, it's hard to pick a fav.

This place is a hidden gem! Seemed like a family operated business. No reservations, but only had to wait 10 minutes on a Friday night at 7pm. The bartender was efficient and got to you when he could, was very European (very direct) I did not mind it at all. I actually felt like I was in Europe.
The food was phenomenal. We had a little bit of everything at our table and shared. Just wow. Definitely try this place out.
Recently, we enjoyed an amazing dinner at Coastal Bar and Grill with friends. Our server, Melissa, was THE BEST server we have ever had. She went out of her way to make sure that everyone enjoyed their meal. The wine selection was reasonably priced and included our favorites. We'll be back soon!

I have always been on the lookout for a fine Italian restaurant. I have been to Amalfi in Roswell several times. Each time is always better than the last. Each time I tried something different. All is I can say is it’s outstanding. I come from my family of outstanding Italian cooks. I have tried many locations around town, and they are all just OK. But I will tell you, Amalfi is pure, legitimate Italian food.

It being my first time there, the host was really informative and attentive to my needs. The atmosphere was really fancy and I enjoyed every little detail all the way down to the candle on the table. The food was really delightful. If it is quite pricey, but it is really good. We decided to have dinner around 630 and towards that time I understand it gets really busy so be prepared to sit there for a bit until you get the bill.
This was simply a surprisingly great dinner experience! First, the bread... Oh My Goodness! That's all that needs to be said about that. Everything on my plate for this meal was super flavorful! That is one of the largest pieces of Halibut I have ever had, and each bite was just as great as the first. The service at the restaurant is outstanding. Everyone is very friendly, engaging, and just a lot of fun to talk to. They are attentive, but not overbearing. The restaurant has a solid vibe and it is very clean. My first trip to Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill was definitely a grand slam! I highly recommend this restaurant when you visit the Atlanta area!
I live in Kansas City now, so I have not been to Stoney River for several years....I brought my Mom there for her 81st Birthday and was So Very Impressed! I made my reservation online, making notes of my Mom's B~Day and the type of table & location I preferred...They read my notes and made the evening PERFECT...The Service was Great, the Food Excellent, and the Fireplace table location made our Experience Absolutely Perfect!
There was a time that Stoney River was a place for excellent service and premium steak, that has changed tremendously.
This location entrance is very awkward, the appetizer and soup were average, but the main course was failure after failure regardless of how many times they tried.
The MOD was totally out of touch, the final offer was to comp the food without even trying to correct the issue in the timely manner, when all was said and done the rest of the party decided to end the dinning and move to another establishment.
This location will also shut down if it continue such service and quality of food and how the issues are addressed.
It is very unsanitary when the manager in the front line eats out of the bowl, then with the same hands handles the food for the server to deliver to the table.

The service and atmosphere was top tier! We tipped 25% but the food was just ok Oyster Rockefeller, (nothing good about it) Imperial Fish Dinner (fish cooked perfectly just bland flavor), brocolli was seasoned well and cooked well, lobster bisque was superb, clam chowder amazing, Crab cake sandwich (good and meaty not a bunch of fillers which was a plus). I would return and try fried foods next time to see if my rating would go up. I really did like the location, staff, atmosphere. They have 4.4 star rating so I am definitely going to give it another try.

The chicken in coconut soup was very dry and old. The pad thai had no bean Sprouts, peanuts, or egg...just noodles with a little bit of chicken..even the pad thai sauce was wrong..it tasted like they added vinegar...for $35 ...it was a bust! Will never go back..very disappointed.

I went here on my birthday, and the experience was mediocre. My server was cool. I wanted to order a simple cocktail that isn't on the menu, but the CLEARLY says make your own. The next thing I knew, the manager came to the table and told me that they could only order what's listed on the menu, despite what the menu said. That was irritating alone, At least the food came out relatively quick, and everything was hot.
The ambiance of the cafe was great. If you are looking for an egg pioneer chef, you should give this cafe a try.

They have separate menus for vegetarian and gluten-free; you should ask for them.

We try the veggie delight omelet, southwest scrambler, tiramisu French toast, hot chocolate, and complimentary beignets.

I would warn you about the hot chocolate. It's just a packet that doesn't makeup to the expectation.

The 3 star rating is for the over all quality I felt they could have done better with the quality given the taste is great.
The tiny cozy atmosphere was the first thing I noticed when walking in. It feels like a family/date spot and then I looked at the menu and felt so happy about the amount of choice! I ended up getting the country bowl which was not only phenomenal but a great deal at only 15$. Lastly every server seemed like they actually cared that I had a good meal. I will bring my family here to try aswell!
We reserved a table for 7 to celebrate a family member’s special birthday. We had high hopes for this restaurant because we had heard great things. It’s a pretty cozy location with a nice bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. We don’t often share our thoughts. However this restaurant was expensive and the food was disappointing. The blackened salmon was not good. The seasoning was unlike any of us had ever had before (and not in a good way) and the fish was absolutely tasteless. My father had the short ribs. He mistook root beer glaze for an odd tasting jelly. The adult children enjoyed the shrimp and grits, as well as the scallops. The burger was really good too, if you like sweet marmalade. The server comped one of our appetizers due to our feedback on the fish. The is an average restaurant when it comes to the food with above average high prices. We will not be back unless something seriously changes.
We held my husband's 60th birthday this past July. Unfortunately, the last several months have been a comedy of errors, but I couldn't let 2023 slip away without giving The Mill Kitchen & Bar and the entire staff the accolades they deserve! EVERYTHING went off without a hitch. Catering managers Chloe and Robin were outstanding! I am the type of person who wants everything from room setup to cocktails/food to flow to go off without any issues. Our party was run beautifully...the team coordinated with me (provided decor direction) and the casino events manager to seem like they were providing everything. People are still talking about the perfect food, cocktails and venue! I wouldn't think twice about hosting another large event at The Mill. They were simply put...amazing!

The food and service are always great every single time we come!!!
Enjoy the atmosphere and attentive staff. The chicken looked so good. Unfortunately, it lacked seasoning/flavor. The side dishes were delicious.
I got the lobster Benedict was not fond of the lobster taste or smell and the asparagus didn’t go with the dish. My son got the waffles with chicken sausage the waffles were soft for him to eat and he liked the eggs with the sausage service was excellent, hot chocolate was yummy would come here again to try other menu items

Amalfi never disappoints! The food is delicious and the staff are amazing! Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Tonight we had spaghetti with meatballs and it was very good. Then for dessert we had bomba and it was very tasty fruity dessert. They also have another variation that is chocolate and vanilla with a raspberry center. You have to check to see which one they have. Both are delicious though!
The place is very beautiful and cozy. At this time it is all decorated with Christmas. The food is very delicious. Try the dry aged beef and bacon Bolognese. And the pepperto cheese fritters are divine. The service is very good and efficient.
The service was excellent and the staff was very good. The ambiance, with outside seating, was great as well
The food, especially main meals, were a miss. The Brie app was fantastic and their sourdough bread is good. Outside of that, with 5 different main course dishes, each one was very disappointed. There was consistency in lack of taste with all dishes. That maybe a bit harsh but that was everyone's first impression as we were walking out.
As for recommendation, would suggest trying it out even for ambiance and staff and make the call on food for yourself.
I know they were doing a spin on beignets by making them more savory but it just missed the mark for me. Otherwise, the brunch was good. Definitely big portions. Service was fine (young kids though). We got there probably around the time they opened so it was really quiet to start but picked up by the time we left. Still had plenty of tables so don't think there's a need for a reservation unless it's a big day like mother's day.
My husband and I love this place! The food is always outstanding. The Bloody Mary with pepper infused vodka…well, be careful lol! It is just too good! Pancakes are out of this world! Lots of items with a twist on eggs benedict. Plenty of choices on the menu. Staff are always awesome. We love the fact that they honor our military service with a discount. Highly recommend!
There was a good atmosphere when you walked in got attended right away , Tony was our server he was really nice and attentive and it smelled amazing the Cajun egg rolls had so much flavor wish I could’ve ordered another plate but they were sold out , the flavor was outstanding ! We ordered fried shrimp with dirty rice and whipped potatoes & the chargrilled oysters with okra and Brussels sprouts the food was a 10/10 everything was great super fresh and delicious I will definitely be back !
Also got a free creme brûlée for birthday!

They charge $2 for valet parking
We wanted to give Coastal a try as we really liked Houcks. While the wings were good, I wish the menu listed there were only 8 wings for $16. I wouldn’t call the wings jumbo at all, not worth $2 a wing. The sauce however was great. The chicken tender kids meal was good and I love the honey mustard. The brussel sprouts were really tasty but had way too much oil.
Ordered the chicken and waffles and it was excellent!!! The honey chipotle drizzle is kinda spicy and thank god it’s on the side.

The chicken tenders are flavorful and I ordered a side of city grits. Everything was great and I’d definitely recommend.

Staff was very friendly and our waiter Evan M. was so patient and always had a smile.

Management on duty was very attentive around the entire restaurant and that was great to see.

Will be back 🙃
I am from CT and when I visit my best friend, we always visit this awesome breakfast place! The food is phenomenal and the service is outstanding! Pictured is the Lobster Hash Benedict and the Smoked Salmon Benedict. So very tasty! I will be back and will definitely bring my CT family with me!
I had the shrimp two ways original and coconut. Ask for mango sauce to go with it is is good. Had tossed salad with blue cheese and side was collard greens. The collard greens were too salty. My friend Jack had half order of the catfish and the creamy yellow corn side with iced tea and white wine. His catfish was excellent. The shrimp and salad were good. I’ll be back with my boyfriend Rob for trivia night.
We attended a birthday celebration at this location. From the beginning of the time we were there the service was a pretty prompt with a drink orders being taken. Appetizers were ordered. About 20 minutes later we instructed the waiter and waitress that we would like to go ahead and place our entree orders.

After the entire party of 16 placed their entree orders, we realize we were waiting a pretty good amount of time before any food came out. We ordered approximately at 7:00 p.m., our entrees did not start coming out until 7:57 p.m. that is a bit too long to wait for food. We get that it is a large party, and there were only two servers to our section. However, waiting for everyone's meals to come out at the same time put a large gap in time that we received our food. We watched tables around us receive their food after arriving after our party. That was a bit discouraging.

I had the black blue black mac and cheese, and it was not tasty at all it was very much flavorless and just tasted like butter noodles. And not even a good version of that. I had their mashed potatoes that were decent I could tell they were not instant pretty much homemade as possible. I also had a Caesar salad that was delicious. Can't really go wrong with a all natural Caesar salad. A couple of gas had their seafood pasta that was delicious. Very flavorful. And you get a lot of it very filling.

One of the drinks pictured in the photos is a tequila sunrise, That was very tasty. The other drinks at the table were t, ginger ale and sodas. Once the food all came out I did not hear many complaints about Flavor other than the mac and cheese.

We also concluded our meal around 8:00-25 p.m. and requested to pay per check, and the server said everyone needs to be on one check, which was not disclosed to us in the beginning. Therefore we had to speak with a manager in reference to putting our order separately.

While waiting on our checks to be delivered, we sang Happy birthday. Realize it had been about 20 minutes since we had the servers bring out the birthday cake and we were still waiting for our checks. The new paragraph need list to say the Ambiance was very pleasant all in all the service was just okay the servers were kind and communicated well that was just too much laps and time between ordering and receiving your food. Also if patrons need to pay a particular way with large parties, it should be disclosed at the beginning of ordering. Disclose this with whomever is responsible for the reservation.

All in all, I would return to this location. However I probably would not return with a large party.

Outside I'm being too very cozy nice and neat patio covered area very welcoming for an outside meal with friends and family.
Delicious Brunch, and good service. The place was busy when I came but it didn't effect the quality of the food, I didn't know this, but since it was my first time going the waitress gave me complementary beignets.

Chilaquiles were delicious but the highlight was the pancakes with goat cheese and blueberries.
We liked Houcks in the past so we decided to give the new “Coastal” a try. It didn’t disappoint. The crispy Brussels sprouts were by far our favorite! We sat on the outside patio and really enjoyed it. It’s easy to pay here too, you can easily scan the receipt and pay from your phone.

Well, Google reviews did not disappoint again!
This restaurant has a really high rating for a good reason. The food was spot on! We waited to sit outside, and of course the atmosphere could not have been much better. This was kind of a special dinner for my wife and I, we met up with our 23 year old daughter and met the guy she has been dating for the past two months he could quite possibly be her future husband? I know that's a stretch but we have five kids and we have been through this before.
We all ordered different things, and I am including pictures of each dish. I think what my daughter ordered may have been the best. But all the other items were very good. At some point it becomes a personal preference. i give them a high rating and from everything we experienced they deserve it!
We enjoyed our dining experience here. We came here on a Wednesday and apparently they have half-price wine bottles on Wednesdays so we were able to enjoy a nice bottle of wine. We had the poke nachos which were delicious. The salmon was good as well and the tuna was delicious. The service is great, and the server was attentive and continually checked on us.

Cool place on Canton St with a huge selection of food! I got the Shepherd's Pie and it was fantastic! Get the Mediterranean Platter for your appetizer because it’s a ton of food and taste great!! Service was pretty good and while the atmosphere was a bit crowded, it was very lively and everyone was having a good time. Patio seating is pretty cramped and the wait time can get up there a little bit (45+ min on a Friday night). Great restaurant!

Incredible experience at this unique restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we felt immersed in a fantastically designed small restaurant. Every detail perfectly executed. The staff were beyond friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their menu. Food was divine. We were recommended the chipotle tomato sauce mussels, and OMG. I will forever swing back through just for these bad boys. Our waitress continued to check on us, and be personable.
I have passed by this place a million times and we finally tried it for a birthday dinner celebration. First impression: we loved that street parking and lot parking was easy on a Sunday evening as it's located away from the busy Canton Street.
The stone exterior and huge patio with outdoor seating is very welcoming. We were greeted and sat immediately (we had a reservation, though it was not full). Our server and his trainee were super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive.

For appetizers: The blackened brie with fig and pimento cheese fritters were absolutely delicious and great for a crowd.

Mains: The scallops with lobster risotto were great - but it only comes with 3 scallops, however, it sits in a large bed of risotto so it was pretty filling. The burger was classic and done well and the crusted tuna was light and fresh.

Desserts: We ordered the peach cobbler and triple chocolate brownie and devoured them both!
This is one of our new spots! 10/10.
Popular place in Roswell with a very nice outdoor space. Went for lunch/brunch and enjoyed the shrimp and grits and the Mill Cobb salad with salmon. They seemed to be short on waitstaff, but other than that, I'd come back again.

Super cute & laid back restaurant in downtown Roswell! This was our first time eating in downtown Roswell and we randomly walked by Roux and picked to eat here. It has both inside and outside seating, which is always a draw, so we decided to have a late lunch outside on their patio. The service was exceptional, everyone was super sweet and friendly. We started off with some signature Roux cocktails, both were very tasty and were not light on the liquor. They have a full bar and a lot of options for both liquor and beer! I got the Roux Bleu burger for my entree and it was absolutely delicious!! The best burger I have eaten at a restaurant in a very long time. Very juicy, full of flavor, perfectly layered with fried jalapeños, pickles, lettuce, spicy ranch, and Bleu cheese. The sweet potato fries were also super yummy, and the portions are large!! He got the Cuban which was also top tier. He said it was the most meat he’s ever received on a Cuban and he loved it! Curly fries were his side of choice and they were so delicious and had a zesty seasoning that was addicting. We loved this little place! Super glad we stopped by, and I definitely recommend it!
Great food, Great service but quite loud

The food was good. It was my first time having oysters and we had steamed oysters and they were fresh and yummy, they brought them out with garlic and cocktail sauce. We also tried their blackened shrimp which was delish. We said we were going to share so they took the time to divvy up the portions into 2 servings. Nice touch! The service was great! We asked the server to bring a white wine that would accompany our meal and it was spot on! Only gripe is the place is very noisy, it is hard to hear each other speak.
Hidden gem! Had driven past this place so many times. The food was AMAZING!!! Everything melted in your mouth and was delicious! So much more than an oyster bar!...!!update! My husband loved it so much he decided to bring his eighteen-year-old side chick here. Great date environment

Is wonderful in every way, shape, and form! If you could only visit one restaurant on Canton Street, then this is it!!! The wait staff is attentive, the atmosphere is glorious, and the prices are equitable. My Lobster and Shrimp Spaghetti was replete with protein, IT WAS GLORIOUS!!! Such a deal. The management came over and spoke with us, I think an owner but also the GM, named Desiree, who let us move tables because my older guests needed to sit where it was quieter. They gave us the best visit we could've had! 5 STARS!!!!!!!

Thai Emerald was nice but the food was just ok. We ordered the Amazing Chicken and nightly special (lemongrass chicken with red curry). Both had a good sauce but the chicken was over cooked. The red curry was flavorful but I’m glad I got the “hot” level. Service was very quick for drinks and appetizers but we waited quite a while for our food. However I think the kitchen was overwhelmed because several who can in after us got their food shortly after us with minimal wait. Waitstaff and hostess were very nice and accommodating.

White tablecloths and quiet. Excellent atmosphere. Wine and beer list. The Cashew Nut Chicken (and Emerald Special, which adds pineapple fried rice) are delicious. They do plenty of business through food delivery services as well.
I found this place in passing and I'm glad I decided to give it a try. The service was great and the food was even better. For drinks I had the summer sip and the C&S gin and tonic. I had the oyster sampler and crab claws. Both were delicious. My experience there added Hugo's on my list of places to go.

Omg, the food was so good, I wanted to lick my plate! I definitely recommend the pecan crusted flounder that’s on a bed of mashed potatoes and topped with an arugula salad and a lemon sauce. So good! It was a little pricey ($34) but I enjoyed every bite! The atmosphere was unique too because of the murals painted on the walls.
From the car to the restaurant, everything went exceptionally well. The valet was courteous and respectful. Everyone working there was courteous and had excellent customer service abilities. There were many different dishes on the menu, and the meal was excellent. The Louisianan southern atmosphere was very enjoyable.

Best Father’s Day restaurant experience ever! Thai Emerald delivered on all 3 of my key eating requirements: food quality; value; and overall enjoyment. I give extra bonus points for the deliciousness and authenticity. I had the Green Curry Grouper with a “hot” level of spiciness. About the equivalent of a fresh grilled jalapeño eaten straight. See picture.

Tried this place from a friend's recommendation. Was pleasantly surprised. So many other options to choose from along the busy street but this was a great choice.. nice atmosphere with outside seating. Not very big but surprisingly not too noisy even though it was kind of busy.. the staff were all polite and seemed to really be ON IT! no one looked rushed or frantic as it often looks in restaurants that are busy.. our Server was Vanessa was amazing. Great recommendations on drinks and some of her fave dishes. Had an issue with our gumbo that she promptly got taken care of. And the drinks literally came it seemed like in seconds! We'll def be back!

First time at this restaurant. We were told we could grab a drink at the bar while we waited for our table, so we tried the house cab and it was a very good wine! Once seated, we were greeted by a very nice server and he took very good care of us. The Caesar salad was amazing. Two others at our table ordered the salad after the salads were brought out because they were so good! The spaghetti sauce was not my favorite, but overall a great time, great food and great company!

I’ve never had Thai food before but I’d thought we’d try something different for my mom’s birthday; it had been about 30 yrs since my parents had Thai lol. Overall, it was delicious & the service was fantastic! I always knew I would love curry but now that I know for sure, I want it on everything! Haha, can’t wait to return! 🍛🤤😋

Have patronized this establishment for about fifteen years and never had a bad experience! Food is always "top-notch." Only thing I find a disappointment is they discontinued serving their Tom Kha soup in the large chafing bowl during COVID and have not offered it since. 🙁

I’ve been here a few times and for Cajun it’s decent.

I ordered the oyster po’boy with extra oysters, which has an up-charge, which I don’t mind, I find that almost all places don’t put enough oysters on their sandwich for some reason. In New Orleans they pile them on to where they fall off the plate.

I found the oysters to be a bit over fried and small, glad I ordered extra. 😛. They were a bit over salty for me. The rest of the sandwich was flavorful, the bread, which is very important to any Cajun po’boy was good along with the lettuce, tomatoes and spread. Overall a decent sandwich but I’ve had a lot better on canton street.

The steak tacos - classic beef tacos were a bit pricy at $18 for two and only one side. The tacos were delicious but the hush puppy side was dry and had no flavors.

The classic burger was flavorful along with the side of fries.

Tip - Sundays are $.50 raw oysters, they were fresh and delicious.

Service was great. Greeted at the door BU the hostess with a smile and seated immediately with reservations. The waitress was perfect. Never needed anything, covered us perfectly.

Parking, like all of canton street is sparse and $10 if you can find a spot.

Would I go again? Sure, to hang with friends but not for Cajun food. There is a better tasting Cajun restaurant down canton street and have there own parking lot with plenty of spaces at no charge.

After my friend’s graduation at Kennesaw university, we all decided to meet here at the Tavern. Parking was very easy lunchtime was definitely busy so I do highly recommend to do a reservation if you have a larger party like we did we had six people.

I knew that her and her fiancé really liked this place from the last time they celebrated her birthday couple years back. We decided to do a spread of shareable dishes together. Everyone had a little bit of everything.

My favorite was definitely the calamari, crispy and crunchy, I love the crab drip specially with their chips, mussels were delicious they we had champagne tomato sauce, which was perfect in complementing all the other flavors from other dishes we were eating. And we talked it off with that delicious, short rib and sweet potato croquette.

Our server was so nice, and food arrive on time. High recommend.

I have eaten here for over ten years and the food is great. Nice atmosphere inside and outside. I enjoyed my shrimp Panang and the wonderful soup Tom yum gai. Had the coconut ice cream it was delicious. Really pretty inside decor.

I got the Cuban sandwich with curly fries and really enjoyed it! All my friends seemed happy with their food too.

Great people-watching spot if you can grab an outdoor table. Large food & drink menu with lots of options. Excellent, friendly service. The Bourbon Punch was surprisingly tasty & balanced & not to sweet which I highly appreciate. As for the food, it was average. It looked beautiful but neither my husband or myself finished our sandwiches. The Salmon BLT had a funky taste to it almost like the fat line of the fish (the gray meat) was left on. I also wouldn't recommend it with the fat chunk of Brie that comes on it. The fried grouper could have benefited by using the same bread that comes on the salmon BLT, as well as, some seasoning. Overall it was too crunchy, oily, & lacked the zing I was looking forward to with the jalapeño tartar sauce. All that said, we may have just ordered wrong. I'm up for giving 1920 another shot & will adjust my review accordingly.

Houck's Grille has existed since 1986. We had been there before once many many years ago and decided to revisit again recently. We were there around 6:30pm on a Thursday evening. They had a private party at their covered outdoor patio; the dining room was about 30% full. The hostess gave us a choice to pick where we wanted to sit which we appreciated.

Our server Brooke provided a solid 5* service! We were greeted promptly, warmly, and genuinely right after we sat down. The pace of the food serving was perfect, and she did check in with us a few times throughout our meal to ensure we had everything we needed and to refill the drinks.

As for the food, although the prices might not seem cheap on the menu, every item we ordered, the portions sure aligned with the price points, they were all in decent size and tasted good!

The restaurant got busy later in the evening and was about 80-90% full. So make sure to go early if you want to grab a good spot in the dining room or take advantage of their happy hours 50% starter promotion (Tue - Fri 4pm-6pm, Starters ranging from $12-$18).

For the bill, If you choose to pay your bill with cash, you get a ~10% discount. This was a good offer to customers and also to help the restaurant with their cash flow.

They also have a birthday special with $27 off from lunch or dinner entrees, must be on birthday and will need to show ID. This is definitely a good promotion and we will plan to take this advantage when we have a birthday celebration.

All in all, we had a great experience and will definitely revisit and will recommend Houck's Grille to anyone looking for great food and great service!

First time eating at this place. The $1 oysters were good. Salmon entree was good, the rosoto was a little over cooked. I think because they were rushing to get it out because we had some Togo orders on the same ticket and there was a mess up. Waitress took care of it and took the salmon entree off the ticket. The beignets were a little too dense, needs to be more airy inside and not enough powder sugar on it at all. Fried oyster were good but small compared to other places.

Service was pretty decent even tho they only had one waitress/bartender working.

It was our first time on canton street and it has a ton of different restaurants to choose from. We hopped around and chose to dine at Roux. We weren’t too hungry so we had some small plates to share.

The drinks here are absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend the frozen margarita. We ordered fried oysters which were good too, as well as a watermelon salad. The watermelon was fresh and juicy however there was way too much cilantro which did not pair well with the salad.

Definitely stop here for some drinks!

Came here to grab a quick lunch during a Saturday and have no complaints. The service was wonderful, food delicious and the location created a nice atmosphere. We got the lobster roll with mac and cheese and chargrilled oysters (comes in counts of 3 and has 3 flavors available) to share. Each of us also ordered burgers for ourselves with fries. The fries were nice and crispy. We will definitely come back!

I love this place. I think it’s one of the best authentic Italian American style restaurants in Georgia.

Family owned and family run, mom is in the back making the sauce it’s all in here. The Marinara is exquisite. I have never had a bad meal here or a bad time here.

This time we ordered the calamari for an appetizer - Man was it soft pounded perfectly breaded perfectly and the marinara sauce deliciously went together very very well popped in your mouth flavors.

The veal Limon was amazing perfectly pounded to the perfect width, breaded so lightly then pan fried - perfect flavor. the cream sauce and the capers just went very well together.

The next thing is not on their online menu so beware that their menu has changed. I don’t know what to call it but it was a large noodle pasta with arugula lettuce and Finnell sausage and a white cream sauce - it was delicious!!!! I apologize for the photos - I took them after the fresh Parmesan grated cheese was added on top so it’s hard to see. But let me tell you the dish was flavorful and rich - it was freaking delicious.

Love the atmosphere all old school male waiters only, cool bar quaint seating and tables.

Outside parking is limited so come early because they don’t take reservations.
