Staff at the Party City in Clifton Park are phenomenal. There was a mix-up and some decorations I was having delivered went MIA and the staff went above and beyond to get the missing decorations to me. They were kind, knowledgeable, efficient and provided exemplary customer service. This is by far the best Party City in the Capital District. Albany’s location is closer but I’ll be making the drive to Clifton Park from now on, it’s worth the extra few minutes 100%.

Prices online are not the same as in store. So as long as ur party isn’t that weekend you’ll be fine. Well I was in the store on the Party city website & having it recognize my location it offered me 24 hours of free delivery no minimum & the online advertise prices. I walked around the store, saw what I wanted & ordered with my phone. I was a 68% savings. For example the cups I wanted were $4 online $8 in store & cutlery was $12 online & $18.99 in store for the exact same thing. I’m about 40/45 minutes away from a party city & was in the area. And thought it would be perfect to add to my haul of graduation party preparations. Nope, just got a rude employee, that says that’s corporate, not my doing. (never said it was). To only receive free shipping and sale prices when I’m physically in store because your location tracking. kinda creepy. You can do better party city.

Ordered 50 balloons for a 50th Birthday party. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, the cashier brought the balloons over and indicated, I only paid for 40 so they could only fill 40 but they could charge me to fill the rest. I did not have time to wait. As I turned to leave the store, the employee indicated that that it went as well as they figured it would. I called Heidi, the manager, to complain because the 10 balloons they gave me back were the balloons that said 50th Birthday on them. Heidi promised to call an uber and have the other balloons delivered but to no surprise, no balloons were delivered. This location and its employees grossly need a lesson in customer service.

Incredibly rude staff.
Employee said they would "beat the s***" out of me if I wanted the balloons I ordered blown up. Then when they're card reader did not work because it's obviously old and beat up (I use my card multiple times a day with no issue at other establishments), they called the manager over and when asked the problem, loudly stated "IT'S USER ERROR" in a rude and sarcastic tone. If you want to have a good day and be treated with respect, like you treat others then I do not recommend this place.

Ordered balloons online which was simple and easy. Got text that balloons were ready. Went in to pick them up but had to wait 5 minutes til worker actually acknowledged me (I was standing in the balloon pick up line and there were two workers right in front of me talking).. The workers appeared miserable with the job and overall was not a great experience.

I ordered on line and used their pick up service. Clicked the link they sent to me advising them I was outside waiting for my order. Waited for 15 minutes after acknowledging I was outside waiting ( I was the only customer )... No one came out so I went inside to make them aware..... Was given my order but watched as the phone rang and someone outside made them aware they were there and they brought out their order, so I assume the link they emailed me does not work. .... The small balloons stayed afloat for less than 24 hours but the larger balloons I brought are still afloat after almost 2 weeks now. ..... I refuse to let this experience ruin my child's birthday celebration. Thanks for nothing..
