Was a lot of fun. Definitely need to go as a pair or more. But if going solo, the staff there are friendly and will take photos of you to get the best out of your time there.

Fun interactive museum dedicated to optical illusions. Some of them you have seen before but there are a lot that will be new. Recommended photo spots and other explanations provide just the right amount of information to help everybody make the most of their visit.

It was super excellent concert. Varnus Xaver performing was extraordinary!
The Museum of Illusions in Budapest is a fantastic experience that plays with perception and captivates the imagination. The exhibits are mind-bending and provide a fun, interactive journey through optical illusions. The only downside is the somewhat steep price, but the mind-boggling illusions make it a worthwhile visit nonetheless.

Visiting the Museum of Illusion is an extraordinary and mind-bending experience that defies the boundaries of reality and invites you into a world where nothing is as it seems. The heart of the Museum is its mesmerizing collection of optical and mind-boggling illusions. From gravity defying rooms that challenge your senses of balance to mind-bending artworks that seems to move before your eyes, the illusion on display are nothing short of astounding. I was continuously left in awe by the clever tricks that plays with my perception of space, depth and motion. So definitely it’s a 10/10 place I would recommend if you haven’t tried ✅

A pretty good museum offering some good attractions and is a good laugh. The Museum of Illusions is a great place to spend some time when in Budapest. Each illusion is unique, funny and is great for a photo opportunity. I like how this museum offers a student discount, it made the place much more affordable for us. I would say it’s a decent sized place, but it does seem to be over quite quickly, and I just with it had a bit more to it. Apart from this, I enjoyed it and the staff here were really helpful and friendly, even offering to take photos of me and my partner. Would recommend visiting here if in Budapest ! 😸

very professional contemporary art museum with good exhibitions and clear exhibitions , big spaces and lots of video art , there is also a library and a nice cafe -highly recommend
We went as a pair of adults and had a great time. Website said tickets were sold out but turned up and there were some left. Lots of fun illusions for kids and adults alike!

Well curated museum of interesting exhibitions. We were there a few weeks ago and saw the Boris Lurie & Wolf Vostell exhibition. We joined an english language tour which lasted only 30 minutes. It was fascinating and could have easily been longer. Unfortunately the exhibition is now no longer available to see. However, gallery spaces are light and breezy and there's some lovely views over the Danube and there are other exhibitions that may well be worth seeing.

Amazing exhibition , cuteness overloadddd!! Bringing my nostalgia back 🧶💕
Went to see the exhibitions about “The cuteness factor and Time machine” very much impressed with the staffs, cleanliness and exhibitions settings - easy to follow and you will eventually walk through all the art easily. The toilets are also very clean and high technology 😂. I went there on Sunday afternoon, pretty quiet and just right amount of people so you can enjoy art privately and peacefully 💕 highly recommended! Also after the exhibition, you can enjoy the cafe with affordable price and allow you to sit in the front with shade and good breeze from the wind 💨.

So much fun !! Great place for kids and adults, they can have so much fun together and learn a bunch of interesting things ! Highly recommend to pay a visit, although it can be very crowded around noon. Book an early hour so you can enjoy everything without any rush.

Amazing contemporary art museum. They have different exhibitions on different floors and you can buy a combi ticket for all or decide on only one. Very nice rooms and collected art. Espacially the discriptions add a lot to the experience, they provide you with all you need to know about the artist as well as the art.

Sadly main exhibition closes at 18 contradicting Google maps data. Be warned! Also main part of the building is a concert hall, so museum is small and disappointing. Beautiful river view is an only thing which can justify a long journey here.
I would love to recommend for couples or friends to date.
This museum was not too big as it looks. But exhibits are interesting :)))
So, If you wanna go there don't expect big and more. Just enjoy :))) and have a good day ☺️
