Graduated from here and later worked here as well. Majority of staff is always helpful. As with any place with that many employees some may not be the easiest to deal with but most are very kind.

I love this school. The staff are awesome and environment is friendly.

Everyone is very welcoming. But I get really hungry.

It's an okay school. You might have your ups and downs here but you gotta work for it, like any other school. Teachers are very eager to help you with your education, some are not, but I'd say a majority of them do. It's very diverse, and I mean, extremely diverse. Which is one of the reasons why I enjoy going to this school, if you consider yourself an outsider, don't, you'll fit in with anyone. Lot's of Hispanics, islanders, Africans. The multi-cultural assembly is awesome! It's my favorite assembly, but I just want to say, it's not the most "perfect" school out there nor is it the worst (I've been hearing great things about Lakes and it saddens me on how people put a bad reputation for Clover Park). You'll find the negatives and positives for every school, and it really depends on your experience to judge the whole school. I've been here for 4 years, and I haven't had any problems. As long as you don't hang out with the wrong crowd and be respectful to staff.
Anyways, it's a public school after-all, it's not so specialized like Harrison Prep or anything like that so don't expect too much. I'd give it 6/10.

This school is on constant lockdown, teachers do not help, they manipulate grades to force students to do or attend events projects etc. teachers are very rude, they attack students and blame the students for their failure. They lose the work and fail the students, they lie, they have favorites, and when it comes to group projects if the group doesn't do their part they pass but the one kid who does their work fails. Lakes has a high failure rate I would never recommend this school for students. Lakes is the fighting school, drug school, over all the violent school of Lakewood

As a special ed student they held me down in any way they could, the staff sucks, there's a lot of drugs and gangs. The teachers were racist. I liked ms. Hampton but she's at a different school now too. Mr. Wallen and Kellcy were amazing teachers.

Need to stop bullying and help abused kids better AND NOT LET THAT PARENT THAT IS ABUSING THAT CHILD PULL THAT CHILD OUTTA THAT SCHOOL BECAUSE NOW THE ABUSE IS WORSE BECAUSE SHE DIGS HER NAILS INTO THE CHILDS NECK AND HITS THEM AND KEEPS THEM TRAPPED IN THE HOUSE!!!! Also needs to not waust there time on the kids that skip because uf they want to skip its there education that they are waisting.

With remodeling of school around 5-6 years ago, it became great looking big school. Large variety of classes and great teachers and coaches and staffs. As long as you follow the school rule and guide lines, favors of teachers and adults will follow you. Great school to be in.

The staff is generally student friendly, and there are lots of classes. But some the core classes, nobody really seems to give a damn what you do. Band is amazing, and it is better than Lakes (which I have been to as well). If you're goal is major education I recommend Harrison Prep (been there as well)

The best school in the area, especially for sports and running start. Better than CP and Steilacoom. Lots of spirit, events; all the teachers I've had are helpful and stay after multiple days a week usually as well as having a sense of humor and often lenient on homework. Plus the new nurse is rad, and the principal is always willing to talk to students and handle situations, as well as wearing cute outfits.

Love my old high school. Still has a couple of the great instructors from when I attended. AFJROTC is a top notch program

I loved this school when I attended in 1995-96...best school I ever attended...especially better than the schools in California where they only care about the student attending class but not concerned with teaching them anything...The Washington educational system is ten times better than anything in the state of California...

Great school! The staff are very welcoming and spend a lot of their own personal time and resources to assure that every student is performing to their potential. That's not to say they are without flaws of course but they are quick to recognize these flaws and find solutions for them--a valuable trait that most schools have forgotten!

Went there for one year. They told me I had to have a certain amount of credits to graduate and told me I was missing one. When I looked at my transcripts I was well over what they wanted on a regular student. They lied and told me I had to take an alternative class because I had failed the other two they offered. Instead of taking a credit recovery class which they offer, they said I had to take an online class which started at the price they said. They did not tell me that it had fees up the wazzu and was going to cost me well over the amount I had available to me. THIS SCHOOL SUCKS! I would highly suggest unless you are a straight A student and are among the majority racial and diversity group. You WILL NOT do fine. There is even one class that PURPOSELY fails you until your final project where you get the grade you deserve. And if you don't pass the class your screwed. This school is nothing but politics and racks the number of students for Government Funds. The students are just a name on a piece of paper. NOTHING MORE!

My two girls went to Lakes and now my granddaughter goes to Lakes, it's a good school with good Teacher's

I had a great time there. Although I went to the old school and graduated in 1984. Lakes was a great school, I really enjoyed my time there.
