I tried to give them a 2/5 but they retested to an 85%

I’ve been going here since kindergarten and I mean it’s ok.

I go to school here (and, yes I know Brooklyn and Bailey; we went caroling together in choir). The education is phenomenal and though there are some clicks that are hard to break in to, most of the students are good people. Teachers are great, too.

My children have attended private and other public schools. Since moving here, we have the best of both worlds. My children have attended all grade levels in this district. My son, who graduated several years ago would tell you his experiences at LHS prepared him to be a proactive, hard working student and employee. My other children benefit from attentive teachers and administration. I love that if I have a concern, the principals and directors of departments are fast to meet with me and address my concerns; after 7 years in the district there have been 4 times I needed answers for specific concerns and each time I was addressed professionally and in a very timely manner. The latest issue was in regards to my child dealing with bullying. The admin at the school met with the students involved, discreetly explaining how they became aware of this situation, and put a stop to it immediately. The principal even gave my child his direct cell phone number incase there were any more issues. He even has called to speak with me through out the year to ensure there are no more problems. The district runs this school with the accountability of a business or a private school. They truly love the kids and teach to mastery, ensuring a student who is willing to work, understand all material taught even if multiple tutoring sessions are needed. This truly is a great school that gives you the feel of a private school. My kids range in all levels in regard to their educational needs and have benefited from GT, to additional help when needed. I love this school..so do my kids!

In this school, I was just another head in the class. they never cared and never tried to help even when i asked questions and stayed after for help. still recovering the damage this school did to my transcript after refusing multiple viable credits from other schools in another state. I often saw teachers pass sports/music kids even if they should have been failing. Bullying was never taken seriously at all. School looks great on paper, terrible in execution.

My daughter got a great education here.

We have been here for 18 years now and our children have been going through the district since kindergarten. Great system.
